Went for mani pedis with my mom here for the first time recently. Nail technicians were really sweet and helpful! They offer water as well which was nice. It was pretty empty on Monday afternoon so it was fun to chat with them. I wish there was more exfoliating in my pedi, they were pretty gentle, but was still very relaxing. 1st time getting a manicure with a natural polish. When I sat down Missy offered me tea and water. Missy was very nice walking me through the entire process since it was my first time. She was very descriptive when I asked questions on what everything was too. The store was very clean inside and they had pleasant relaxing music playing in the background. I had an appointment at three and I came in a couple minutes early, but they told me to sit and wait. They started on my feet first and then my hands and I have to say that the service was excellent. They made sure that everything was done right the way I like even asked if I wanted some water or tea to drink. I love coming here. I went to the Salon two weeks ago and Missy and her mom did manicure and pedicure for me. I got the "tiger eye" for the first time and it turned out absolutely beautiful. She gave a great quality top coat for my hands that have kept the shine still same two weeks later. The fact that this picture is taken today which is two weeks later since I got the services done, speaks to the quality of her work. I never thought I'd get my nails done, but here we are! A lot of my female friends couldn't stop talking about this place, so I decided to join them and see what all the hype was about. Long story short, I left with some amazing nails. I can see why girls get their nails done. It's fun and addicting. I can't stop looking at my nails. Now I understand why they were so excited! The place has a luxurious vibe, is super clean, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, Nu and Missy are incredible! They are professional, fun, and makes you feel completely at ease. I came in thinking it would be a good experience since the reviews were 5 stars however I had a terrible experience!!! The nail techs began to do their work. I then notice my friend keeps telling her nail tech that he's hurting her. A few minutes go by and she once again has to tell him that he is hurting her. While I am getting my pedicure done my nail tech starts to cut my cuticles. I had told her that I had already filed my nails and cut them but she insisted in wanting to do some touch ups so I let her do her thing. She begins to cut the cuticle and pulls it BACK. If you can just imagine getting a cuticle pulled back it is not right you're supposed to trim them. She then begins to do the base coat and starts to do it with one hand not being careful at all of where the paint is being placed. When she cures the base she is not even careful of my toes touching the lamp. Normally a nail techs is very careful about that and they do not want the toes touching the lamp. At this point not only is my friend continuously being hurt and so am I so we decide that we want to stop the service. They then proceed to tell us that we needed to pay $40 ???? For what a base coat and getting hurt ? They tell us to speak to the manager who is outside. My friend goes to talk to her and she becomes extremely hostile and says I AM GOING TO CHECK THE CAMERAS. Like whattt im literally telling you we do not like the service. She is not being understanding at all and continues to raise her voice at us and gaslighting us saying are toes are sensitive. Pedicures are not supposed to be painful. She then proceeds to tell me how much I am willing to pay. At this point im not even wiling to pay anything because of how you have treated me aside from the service. I tell her I will pay you $10 and she tells me YOU DONT HAVE ANY MONEY x2. Like do you have any money because you're fighting with me over 10 dollars ? When I did not let your nail techs finish the service. I Now understand why there was no one in the salon but just me and my friend. DO NOT COME HEREEE ! read more
