Was in the area looking for a nail salon to get my nails done before a trip to Mexico. I searched salons in my area and I was immediately drawn to this one based on the reviews. Was in the area and needed my nails done. Looked up reviews near by and Bamboo nails was the highest and I see why now. Lynn is the sweetest and she really knows what she is doing. Lynn is great at what she does. She's quick yet for as fast as she is, the quality is always on point. If you've never been to her shop, call in advance and book an appt with her. She's the only one in the shop and sometimes booked back to back. Everytime I come in and ask her what I'm thinking as far as nails go, she brings it to life. Her instagram even shows more of her work. I always book in advance with her. You can even text her a few days prior and her schedule is pretty open a day or 2 prior. She's worth it!

It's been a while since I've been to a nail salon. Over 2 years now. Wanted to give it a try and get pampered before the long weekend. Found this place and decided to give it a try. First the parking lot is located on the back side of this building. When you first make a right, keep going until you find an alley. It's a two way alley so don't be afraid to go in. The parking lot is very small but there's also parking on the street right in front of the business. I came around noon and it was very easy to find parking. Then, walking towards the salon there's a patio area, very nice for people that need to wait. My pedicure (forgot to ask her name) was very gentle and offer me a pamphlet with services. Went with number #5 ( basic) and gel french tip. $40 Anna, did my nails and did a beautiful French tip gel as well $65. I love how Anna was personal and friendly. I will come back for my next fill and pedicure. Also like that both ladies weren't pushy with services. I understand that's how business runs but I rather get a basic service and give a better tip as I appreciate their time taken on me.

Second time going in today and equally as in love with my nails as I was my first time. Lynn did my nails both times and I appreciate her patience with me because I like trying different fun colors. I normally get clear dip powder with gel polish. I had a place in Artesia but it was kind of a trek. Found that they do that here so I'm happy that it's much closer. My first time was on a Friday evening and i would suggest making an appointment. My second time was a walk-in but it was middle of the afternoon so it was ok to do so. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Super friendly and enjoyable staff. The pedicure was so good, Lynn went ahead and took care of all of my ingrowns, all of my toes tend to get a little ingrown and other places I've gotten my pedicures at don't take care of them or bother to check or ask. Got a dip powder manicure as well after having acrylics for a couple of months and my natural nails look so good! Definitely a place to go back too. read more

Best cute nails design I ever had. Lynn knows what I wanted and she is so fast at what she's doing. Which I like because nobody want to sit there for 2 hours to have their nails done. they do an excellent job, however my gels popped off of their own accord, leaving my nails naked about a half-week after getting them done! i would look down at my hands and notice that one or two just fell off per day. but honestly everyone there is so nice, i'll probably be back. :) read more

This place is amazing! I cannot rave enough about it, went in for a pedicure and I got the royal. I love that they give you a menu when you sit down to take a look at what you want. The royal pedicure includes a scrub, or paraffin, hot towel, massage, callus removal. Omg it was heavenly, I should have asked him his name but he took his time, asking me if I was doing ok every so often. (I'm 8 months pregnant) I asked for a design and it was beautiful, I just wanted a plain old flower but was so detailed and pretty. I left feeling like a had a new pair of feet, and at 8 months pregnant that is an accomplishment. Will definitely be back! read more

Originally I was really happy with this place but turns out the last two visits have been a terrible experience. Last time I was there one of the nail techs was on her phone most of the time, which is not what I am paying her for, I am paying for a service to be done so I expect her undivided attention to do my service. Then the lady who did my nails did the clear coat extremely terrible, did not put an entire coat on my nail leaving parts not even covered, it looks like craters on my gel nails. I didn't catch it until I had gone home so whatever I let that go. Today when I got the same lady to do my nail, she did it again and this time I caught it while there so I brought it up, she only fixed one and she did a terrible job at fixing it it still has some spots and my nail is super this and lumpy from poor application of nail polish. I have about 4-5 other nails that look exactly the same. I didnt count how many layers of polish she put but its feels like I got regular polish rather than gel, thats how thin it feels. The owner is really nice and offered to fix but I didn't have the time to stay and since this is the 2nd time for it to happen I just wont be back, not even to fix it. Not sure if they're trying to save on supply but when I pay a decent amount of money I should get my moneys worth.. read more

Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

I've been with Anna for a few months now and she has been the best Nail Technician I've ever had in my entire life! She does a phenomenal job every time. Whenever I show her a picture of something I'd like to do on my nails she makes it look even better than the picture! She now works at bambooz nails and everyone there is super nice and attentive. Lynn is a skilled nail technician who pays close attention to detail and always makes sure that her clients are happy with their nails. She's friendly and welcoming, and her salon is always clean and well-maintained. I have been going with her for over a year for gel-X nails and I always seem to get compliments! I wish to give this 5 stars but Yelp will remove it either way. Dont know why but it surprised me when all 5* got buried in "not recommended" and just 1* left. This place is a good place when the owner actually cared for customers and she is willing to explain to you if you have questions. Lynn is absolutely amazing! I come here right after work and to relax. There's no heckling for additional services. She's always up to date with all trends and takes pride in her work. I have to say this is the best nail place in town. My nails are the bomb, I came for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Of course came back for a fill, I had absolutely no issues with my nails. Came back today and I have to say my nails look absolutely stunning. read more
