I was super lucky that during a business trip to LA I was able to connect with K. This was my first tattoo experience, and while I have no comparisons to make, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I know that if I want to get another tattoo, this remains my first choice. K works in a cool studio in Ktown LA. K and her husband thoroughly informed me of the experience and provided valuable advice for this enthusiastic but inexperienced customer. The word I want tattooed is written in Chinese calligraphy with artistic impression by my mother. K printed the word in various sizes and we chose the positioning. It took about 2 hours. It's difficult to find a good Korean tattoo artist in California, and luckily for me, I was able to find k tattoo in downtown Los Angeles. I wanted a Korean tattoo artist because I wanted a Korean lettering tattoo on my forearm to honor my late father's favorite Korean words when I was a kid. My artist tae was awesome! Though, he was able to understand my not so good Korean. I got to meet the owner k and her husband today as well..such a great couple. They are the most friendliest couple I've ever met. The tattoo shop is a small shop. They are appointments only. If you want a good lettering tattoo or if you want to get your first tattoo, I highly recommend this place..Book K or any artist as soon as possible, as their schedules get easily booked. About a week ago my best friend and I got a matching tattoo. Yuri was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and welcoming, and made us feel completely comfortable from the start. K is the reason I came down to LA this weekend...so worth it cuz shes da bomb! Is there an option for more stars? I first came across her work on IG and fell in love. The attention to detail and pure artistry are amazing. I've been looking in to getting my last tattoo for quite some time but haven't committed til now. She's responsive, detailed and genuinely cares about the quality of work she puts out - my piece came out perfectly! If you're a germaphobe or have hygiene concerns, you can rest easy because she's incredibly clean w/ her workspace. I had such a fun time during my session in large part due to her friendly personality. K really puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable w/ not only her conversation but her snacks as well. I absolutely LOVE my new tattoo and absolutely LOVED my experience here!! her shop and practices are so clean and she is so, so talented. It's unbelievable what she can do with her talent. The whole time, she made sure I was comfortable and let me watch Moana during my tattoo. :) I can't wait to come back and get more! But what I appreciated most was her attention to detail. She acknowledged how important my tattoo was to me and took such care and attention to every and each detail, making the outcome more like an actual photo on my arm than a drawing...it actually blows my mind!! K did my first tattoo and it was the best experience I could've asked for. The terrible thing is I booked my appointment and when it came to a week before my appointment, COVID shut her shop down temporarily; however, she rescheduled me and was able to get me in. Her shop is super clean and she covers all the COVID safety precautions. Obviously since I went during COVID, I was the only one allowed to go in, no guests, friends, or buddies. She greets you at the door and makes sure you get comfortable before starting. Not only is she clean, but she is thorough. She made sure the stencil was super straight and exactly the size I wanted it before I even sat down to get tatted. I got a single needle tattoo and BOY was I nervous! But she calmed my nerves and went to work. She spent a lot of time on my tattoo (a lot longer than I would imagine for my tattoo) but it's only because she works precisely and carefully. I prefer this than getting a BS-ed quick tattoo. We were going to watch The Little Mermaid (for it is my favorite Disney movie), but her player wouldn't play it, so she talked to me the whole time and never made me feel alone or worried. She is really sweet and a great tattoo artist as well. My mom and boyfriend are already hoping to get in line and get tatted with her. Too bad Yelp only allows 5 stars because she deserves 10. Can't wait to get tatted by you again! P. S. if you're nice enough, for your first tattoo, she gives you candy. read more

If you're planning on putting art on your body permanently, K is the person to go to. I dm'd her a few weeks ago regarding a one-of-one design that she drew herself. She replied promptly and asked all the right questions. I made a deposit and set an appointment. Hit her up on instagram @ktattoola I arrived at my appointment and the process began. She gave me a quick consultation on size/placement and she went to work. Her attention to detail is exactly what you want. The fine lining is perfect. She also did my friend's awesome tattoo. If I could give more stars I would! K did my first tattoo and the experience went beyond my expectations. From the moment you walk in K makes you feel comfortable. K is professional, creative and clean. Her shop is sanitized from head to toe. Every time she changes needle she shows you so that you know its new. The best experience I've ever had with the greatest artist of all. Such a sweet artist who turned on my favorite disney movie to watch. Not only was she welcoming, but made sure that each process was understood and was explained thoroughly. Me and my husband got a matching tattoo and it was exactly the same. She also took time to retouch my 10+ year tattoo that I got from a unprofessional tattoo shop. Most importantly, she took her time and was in no rush to finish even though it took about 5 hours to do 3 tattoos. I can see that she is passionate of her job and work. Five stars does not do K justice. She deserves an infinite amount. I found K on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her work. It's all so detailed and intricate and realistic! I came all the way Georgia to be tattooed and I will be back! She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you get there and plays your favorite Disney movie while she's working on you! She's absolutely delightful and so fun to talk to as well. She is very clean as well. She shows you the expiry dates on the equipment she uses and uses high grade cleaning products to make sure everything is disinfected and taken care of. I had asked for her to work with me on this flower tattoo and she went above and beyond to help with location and ideas on how to place the flowers. This was my third tattoo and she's the best artist I have ever come across. Needless to say, once COVID allows, I will be getting tattooed by K again and again!! read more

If you want beautiful pieces of art on your body, Kim is the artist for you I love her ! She's cute, sweet, bubbly, and super accommodating. I like how super clean she is as well and follows protocol and even showed me the expiration date of the ink she used. It was my second tattoo that is significantly bigger. It took about 6ish to 7 hrs. She takes as much time as she needs to get your piece looking phenomenal. I'm so in love with my tattoo. She made it look more gorgeous than I have even pictured. I got tattooed by the amazing K over the weekend. This was my second tattoo with her and it went so well. Like in the first review, K was very welcoming and got down to business. She made sure the placement and size of my tattoo was perfect. She took her time during my session and worked so hard. I got a tattoo of my nephew and wow she did not miss any details. Above and beyond it how K is. I had a lot of fun and felt at home being at her shop. She's a professional, super clean, and offers you snacks if you're hungry. We watched 4 Disney movies during my session. I will definitely be going back to her for future tattoos when her bookings are open. Be patient with this woman. If you're looking to get your first tattoo, or your 20th tattoo--you need to give this amazing woman a call. She is a true artist and brings enthusiasm, energy, care, and professionalism in a way you don't see from other artists. She was so patient throughout the entire process--I'm super nitpicky and specific about what I want, yet vague in my ability to describe. You don't need to look any further if you're looking around for your first, fifth, or tenth tattoo. I had the best experience getting my first tattoo. K is so nice and friendly! I was quite nervous as it being my first but I was so glad I booked Ktattoo. I had a certain design in mind and she was so willing to let me draw on the spot then got it on my arm. I trust her with my second one when I ever find the right one! Tattoo lasts forever on your body and I never trusted anyone else more than K for ink. As she is a demanded talented tattooist, make sure make an appt everyone. Some people wait months to get to their time so be considerate! Anyway..I love it, I'm really in love with my tattoo. K is amazing. She'll sit down and talk/communicate with you throughout the whole process, from brainstorming the tattoo idea to the placement and size. I had a few ideas in mind that weren't very fleshed out, and she was able to turn those into reality. My first two pieces she did, she was super gentle and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. My latest one, a back piece, was done in only a day and she kept me entertained the entire time with her witty comments and stories in both Korean and English. She assured me the entire time, and regularly stopped to show me the progress via a mirror or her phone. I was extremely satisfied on all occasions, enough that I don't plan on permanently seeking her out for all my future ink. Bottom line, I really can't recommend her enough, and even if you are on the fence about a larger piece, her line work on small pieces are just as beautiful and you'll quickly be booking her again for another session. :) read more

Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

It's $10 for the post and $5 for the piercing disc. Whenever Chontel isn't there, Lara is there, and she is also just as amazing and insightful as Chontel! My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.
