I had such a great dinner at Banchetto Feast with my mom! The restaurant has a really warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a laid-back but delicious meal. The staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We started with the meatball sampler, and I have to say, it was a solid choice. Each one had its own unique flavor, and they were all perfectly tender with just the right amount of sauce. A great way to start the meal. Honestly, the sampler could even be a meal of its own because I couldn't finish it! For my main dish, I had the Shrimp & Diver Scallops Scampi, and it was fantastic (although I didn't realize it had beans in it). The shrimp and scallops were cooked just right, and the garlic-lemon butter sauce tied everything together so well. Light but flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. My mom went with the New Zealand rack of lamb, and she was raving about how juicy and well-seasoned it was. I'm so proud of her because she is one of those people who doesn't like to see the blood coming from the meat, but she made it through! LOL. I started with a coke, but of course, I had to thrown in a lemon drop martini! That is my new thing. It was smooth, refreshing, and had just the right balance of sweet and tart. The kind of cocktail that makes you want to order a second round. One thing to note about the seating. While the chairs were comfortable and we enjoyed our time, the back of the chairs aren't exactly the sturdiest. We were originally seated behind a family with kids who just couldn't sit still, and every time they leaned back, I felt every single movement. We ended up requesting a different table, which made a huge difference. Just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. I wish I could give 10 stars! This place is my new favorite place in rockland! The food is superb and the service is so friendly & welcoming. We started with some cocktails off of their winter menu. I had to try the chocolate candy cane martini. It was a peppermint and chocolate twist with a candy cane rim.. yum!! My mom went with the winter sangria which was delicious. For appetizer we had the crabmeat, mango, and avocado tower. This is a must try! The flavors blended so well with the freshly fried tortilla chips. For dinner my mom ordered the Berkshire pork chop with apricot & pear glaze. She couldn't stop raving about it. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass special and that's the freshest fish I've eaten. To end the night we tried their espresso martini & homemade caramel flan! Everything was impeccable & we will be back Banchetto! I'm sure it's not easy being in this industry dealing with the new covid laws and restrictions. They were following all the correct protocol & I felt comfortable knowing that. All employees has their masks on & constantly cleaning. My mom hasn't been out to dinner at a restaurant since covid started and she was pleased to see Banchetto keeping a clean and safe environment. The only reason that I'm giving Banchetto Feast five stars is because they don't have a sixth star! Banchetto Feast is a superstar restaurant in a county full of mostly below average places to eat. Coming from the Bronx, Little Italy to be exact, I'm very particular about the places I frequent and the food I enjoy. But this place, it's atmosphere, food and staff constantly exceed my expectations. The atmosphere is by far the most relaxing anywhere in Rockland, from the decor to the lighting and even the music, it just feels so nice. The wait staff are always friendly, smiling and joking with us making our time here always that much more enjoyable and then there's the food.. The food in this place is really just delicious, I cant stress enough that in the three years I've been coming here and referring people here I have never had a bad time or a single bad piece of food and have never had anyone I sent here tell me anything other than that they loved it!! Every dish is well prepared, well presented and literally melts in your mouth. I' am a little confused by the few negative comments I've read on the Banchetto Feast. I've been a regular for a while now, and time after time, I' am received with exceptional service. From the moment I'm seated, to the minuet I walk out the door, I am catered to with the upmost delight. A recent experience was this past Friday, (11/04/16) where I was yet again greeted with phenomenal service. I had the mouthwatering prime NY strip steak, made to perfection. All while, my girlfriend enjoyed her seafood pescatore, in which I ordered a 2nd plate to take home with us. But before then, we had the jumbo lump crab cakes, and if anyone knows me, they know that I DO NOT EAT CRAB CAKES! But at the Banchetto Feast, there's just something so savory and heavenly that makes me want to continue starting my night with their crab cakes. Without a doubt, the Banchetto Feast continuously strives to make my expirence with them better than the last. This place is a real culinary delight with abundant choices presented with a warm and attentive staff. The owner takes an intimate approach and offers some valuable insight into the menu choices and preparation. On several occasions, he went off menu just to meet some individual needs (no one does that!). Their meat dishes are top quality cuts and the traditional Italian dishes pack a punch of flavor that would sit well in Tuscany. Their fish dishes are the surprise of menu that would shame most seafood restaurants. We have a large party that travels over an hour from NJ to get to Banchetto's Feast and it has become a consistent tradition for us. The food and atmosphere are absolutely amazing. The wait staff are so friendly and sociable. They cater to whatever needs the customer(s) has. The ambience is very calm and relaxing. The food is freshly prepared and made homemade and to your liking. Eddie the owner and chef is an amazing person. After a long day of shopping we decided to end the day with a nice meal. What an unexpected memorable experience in Nanuet! We shared a few appetizers and they were all divine. The entries were presented in an exquisite fashion and tasted even better. We all had different seafood and took turns sharing our plates "family style". The hostess was really good at explaining some of the signature dishes and she was very accurate, we were pleased to have had the discussion. It strikes a nice balance between formal and casual, not pretentious, it fits every occasion and satisfies many needs. Good Fresh Italian Food! My Wife and I went here for Valentine"s Day because we both worked that day in City and was closest nice restaurant from the NJ Transit train. I read all the reviews and was like okay I will decide what I think. The decor was nice but nothing outstanding,the food Good and fresh and came quickly but not too quickly. We had Eggplant Parm and Alaskan Cod and baked clams and Calimari all of it was good food, Nothing to complain about,not Michelin Star restaurant but good fresh food and our server Guill was Excellent and very attentive with everything. My husband and I do not live in the area, but have taken my Mom to Banchetto's for lunch for several years. The food is absolutely fantastic and the waitstaff just can't be beat. Unfortunately, my Mom(almost 98 years old!) recently passed and the family knew that her repast had to be at Banchetto's where we would celebrate her life with her favorite margarita and garlic knots. After a long day at work, I stumbled upon Banchetto Feast, and boy, am I glad I did! With an extensive menu including a variety of options, from pasta dishes to wines, there's something for everyone. I got the Rigatoni Salmon Alla Vodka with Escarole & Beans, Spanish Onions, and Bacon which were both great. Banchetto Feast is always a great choice. Went there for our daughter's birthday and had the shrimp stuffed crab cakes that was the best I have ever had. Our daughter had the Shrimp Champagne with pasta. She loved it. My wife had the Brushetta pizza with fresh mozzerella, basil, tomato's and red onions. Another great dish. Had high hopes for this place, but it seems that they have failed to deliver. Ordered the Linguini with clam sauce...it was very...bland and watery. It was very busy there on a Thur night, but there were plenty of waitresses/staff yet service was extremely slow, even to provide menus/get drinks etc. There are much better options around, prob won't be back. read more
