Farm has grown to become our go to bar when in Nyack and of course when we stay at the hotel which is frequent. The bartenders are always attentive and on point. My only complaint is room service can be difficult sometimes to get an answer when calling. Our favorite is their chicken Cesar salad. I miss the paillard and zucchini fries which where were amazing. Their wine selection is great at reasonable prices. The room service is quite quick if they are not inundated with weddings or events. read more

Awesome spot (didn't get to try the food) but this is solely based on my quick glass of wine while staying at the hotel experience. This place is such a vibe and I LOVE that they have free salsa dancing on Fridays for hotel guests (or $10 if you are not staying at the hotel). Great option for an alternative night out, they even have a free salsa class right before the salsa night if you want a salsa refresher. Stopped in for a dinner. The place is located right inside Hotel Nyack. We were seated quickly and our server was astonishing. He came quickly, while serving other tables, recommended items , when we asked, constantly came back to the table, and had a great attitude about him. Oh, the food? The food was pretty good. Way above regular hotel quality. Friday nights after 9:00pm they play Latin music and people dance while the non dancers like me enjoyed the full bar and the sights. read more

I had given this place 5 subsequently need to drop the rating. 2 reasons: The 1st time I went there, I realized that that charged my credit card twice for the same dinner. I called them and was told a manager would look into it and call me back. I waited all day, so I called again. The manager stepped out, and I was told I would get a call back that day. No call, I called again today, and I was told a manager would call me back. I am still waiting. I have had to dispute the charge with my card company as I don't think they will help me. All this was not the best use of my time. 2nd reason I went back to the restaurant with my family this week. (Before I knew about the double charge above) My son and I ordered the Wagyu burger. This is about $6 more expensive than the smash burger and at $24, fairly expensive as far as burgers go. This was mediocre at best. It was greasy and no better than a burger you get at any diner. My son's was the same but had a little piece of bone in the patty. We both asked for the burger as Medium, but it came back well done. Avoid this disappointing menu item. It is not worth the cost. I ate here for breakfast and dinner and had completely opposite experiences. We had dinner on a Saturday night and sat outdoors to enjoy the live music. Our server Nora was very attentive and brought out all the food in a timely manner. We wanted to sample the menu so everything was shared. The truffle flat bread was really good compared to the mozzarella flatbread. The Caesar and little gem salad were fresh and good portion sized. The pretzel dusted calamari was delicious and came with a variety of dipping sauces. The tagliatelle and lobster ravioli can be passed on. There was a special for a tomahawk steak and it was perfectly cooked. The creme brûlée cheesecake and the banoffee pie were great desserts to end the night. When we arrived in the morning for Sunday brunch we had a completely different experience. There was only one server taking care of all the tables. We placed all our orders around 1115 but didn't get them until 45 minutes later. Our cappuccinos were given after our entrees were served at around 1215. The brunch items were all pretty good except for the breakfast burrito. Maybe hire more staff for a Sunday morning. read more

Farm, Hotel Nyack's restaurant, is fabulous. Had a salad and dessert which were both delicious. For dessert, I had a chocolate mousse cake that was shared and yet completely satisfying. Went to two Nyack bakeries hoping to find it, and was very disappointed that what they had did not compare. My friend had a fish dish which, again, was delicious. Can't wait to go back. read more

I only have experience here eating breakfast, but it was very good considering it's a hotel restaurant. Got the herb omelet with spinach and Gruyère. I did get it with egg whites. The ratio of spinach and cheese to egg was perfect, not too much or too little of either. The avocado that it comes with is great to eat together with the side salad, which was covered in a nice raspberry vinaigrette. Really good, especially if you're staying at the hotel! read more

Traveling for work I ended up at this place because it was close. The food was AMAZING, fresh, made quickly, large portions, maybe even too big, but the food and freshness was remarkable. I saw a lot of entrees and all looked great, especially the meatballs, but what I did try myself was the beet salad and the burger. The beet salad was simple, beets, candied nuts, mixed greens, feta/goat cheese sprinkled, and a vinaigrette, but for a roadside/highwayside resto, this was amazing, most city restaurants I go to don't have this level of quality, freshness, etc. highly, highly recommend, fantastic! Came for brunch about 1:30pm. Greeted nicely by the waiter and offered water as we looked over the menu. Ordered beverages of coffee & Prosecco. Was pleasantly surprised that it was a small bottle which was left at the table to refill myself. The restaurant was empty except for 3 guys watching the Giants game at the bar and another couple enjoying lunch. Our meals were tasty. We had the spinach salad, shaved Brussels salad and avocado toast. The venue is beautiful. I've been here when it was the Time Hotel and it seems much brighter inside. It's a very trendy vibe with good food and service. Hopefully with more publicity it'll have more of a vibe and less a ghost town... read more

My mistake in booking a hotel restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner- I didn't realize- but seriously, the price was OUTRAGEOUS for what we got. A $75 prix fixe menu because of the holiday: a bowl of romaine lettuce for starters, mediocre filet mignon with not great bernaise sauce and a few wilted veggies as main course, and a piece of grocery store pie for dessert. The sax player was good, but didn't play much. It was kind of depressing, truth be told, for a very high price tag. If it were half the price, I would feel better. Oh well. Maybe if you're staying in the hotel, the food would be ok, but don't make a special trip here. Sorry. read more

Once again I find myself wishing for half stars. I would give Farm 2.5. I don't think it's quite good enough to round up to three. Came for brunch with some friends. We did the bottomless brunch. Two people ordered Eggs Benedict, two of us, myself included, had the Dutch baby, and another person got the breakfast burrito. The Dutch baby was terrible. Dutch babies are supposed to be big and puffy and a little crispy. This was a glorified, rubbery crepe. I was extremely disappointed. My companions' entrees didn't look appetizing either. The home fries served with the Benedict looked dry and tasteless and by the looks of what I saw leftover over on their plates, they must've agreed. The breakfast burrito didn't look special either. The bottomless mimosas were fine. Not a bad ratio of bubbly to juice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She learned one of our party has celiac and came back to the table to warn her that the potatoes were not gluten free. I would give them 0 if I could. The hostess was absolutely clueless and very rude in telling us the wait time would be 45 minutes when there were many tables open and claimed they were "busy". If their 4 full tables are considered busy, they will not be able to handle you and give you any sort of a good experience. After declining to wait the time and stating we would just go elsewhere, we were exiting to the sound of insults being shouted after us. Everyone working there glared at us and ignored us. I wish I could review the food for you guys, but unfortunately I didn't get that far. Don't ever come here unless you enjoy being degraded simply for existing and wanting to eat. read more

We are locals in Nyack and eat at Farm often because the food is just so good! Honestly it's one of our favorites in the area and we are very picky. Love the brussel sprouts salad, nachos, rigatoni bolognese, the branzino, the salmon, lobster ravioli--- it's all so good! My baby loves the mashed potatoes. Came on Christmas Day for the prix fixe menu. Let's just say I had dinner for two nights. There was so much food. The strawberry and ricotta toast was delicious on nice warm bread. The salmon, which I asked for rare, was cooked perfectly. The carrots were like candy. It was rare but warm and the sauce really good. The Banoffee pie was the best Banoffee pie I have ever had. It was like 5 inches tall and so decadent. Everything was delicious and service was lovely. My only issue is they put a 20% service charge that was not disclosed and it was unclear whether that was tip or not. It's a very high service charge. read more

And they certainly were on the pricey side, mostly in the $12 to 20 range, which is a lot for this area...and especially so considering the portion size.
