The frittata with the mung bean based egg was a little dry. Came out more cake like than egg like consistency. Would not recommend.

Amazing Vegan food. The atmosphere was great. Huge space. Great location. Was able to park within w blocks. After flying into town we swung by for Saturday brunch. Great food. The shakshyka was the best. The frittata was average. The French toast/ bread pudding like dish was delicious and great as a shareable. Mofongo was delicious. Will return for more!our server was very attentive and very nice. He explained dishes when we had questions.

What a cool vegan restaurant! The space inside is so cool! Amazing natural light, great colors, and tons of plants. Nice Happy Hour deals. I got the Tropical Fizzy! Shout out to them for having a fun menu of non alcoholic drinks that aren't just cocktails with Zero Proof alcohol, I love trying fun drinks but don't drink alcohol! I didn't get a jalapeño essence, but the drink was yummy anyways! The Callaloo was likely my favorite dish of my entire Denver vacation. I chose it because I'd never had it before & wow was jt a good choice! Creamy, veggies, and warming! I'd compare it to a creamy spinach artichoke dip- so would be good to dip bread or chips into. The papaya slaw was also fun to try! Papaya, pineapple, & pink!! Great balance of sweet and acidic. The quesadilla was really yummy too- and was large enough for me to enjoy for more meals. The staff were kind and welcoming! Love that they're committed to clean fresh air inside! I'd definitely come back here to try other dishes. I will say- the porta potty door to the bathroom did scare me. I was like oh no- a porta potty is the bathroom they have here (insert sad face), but luckily it was just a unique door to a real bathroom inside.

The ambiance here is pretty cool. Lots of fun decor and music to set the scene. Service was good. As a vegetarian I'm always excited to find a new vegan restaurant where I can order without any worries!! The coconut bread was very delicious, flaky, and fresh. The Buss Up Shut was very spicy but really lacked any distinguishing flavor and the roti that accompanied was soft and flavorless. It is a very large portion though. Street parking available but was pretty sparse. Walkable from downtown.

Such a unique and quirky vegan restaurant! We really loved the non-alcoholic fizzys, which were a great deal for happy hour. The coconut bread was AMAZING, so sweet and fluffy. And the cassareep rice bowl was pretty good as well, tasted like sweet & sour sauce, although the steamed broccoli could have used some additional flavor. All the staff were so friendly, and it has such an eccentric vibe inside.

I give this meal a 3.5 but it has more potential so I give 4 overall. Service was also very good. We got Buss up shut, nice flavors and a little spicy that comes with tasty corn bread. Now the coconut Curry was just average, not enough flavor, lacking some salt, and the roti it came with was very oily. Add jackfruit instead of tofu, it's better.

First off this place is straight VIBES! Felt like I feel into Miami x NYC west village. Vibrant colors, trini vibes. Greta music. Ordered some food to go, normally would never check out a spot like this but my friend is going vegan. All I can say is WOW!! The coconut curry is so flavorful, we got it with jack fruit - never had it and damn it was good. They were able to achieve such a rich and robust flavor that had me coming back. Also the portions are HUGE! Always a plus imo. Also got their quesadilla that was equally huge and flavorful. Their black eyed peas where so flavorful, idk ifs like a rue or gravy but damn its good. Also the plantains were great not al sugary like the East coast. Service was great. Also have a great HH! This spot is a must try regardless if you eat meat or not.

Updated review (3.5 stars): Cubano is still fine, and mustard is still overpowering. Chips+salsa is great. Hibiscus fizzy is SO much better than the guava. Guava one is just sour, but hibiscus one is really nice, and the flower flavor comes through a lot. Way too much ice though. Also got the bakes+ranch for a side. It was kinda lame; I don't even understand why it's on the menu, to be honest with you. Just extremely dense bread with some ranch. Miscellaneous notes: Restaurant is in a really sketch part of town, parking is a nightmare, and the internet connection is atrocious. I also just strongly dislike their sorta quirky branding - especially in their voicemail - but that's personal.

We recently dined at Bang Up to the Elephant for my mom's birthday, and she was super excited, as she follows a vegan diet. This establishment is very appealing, not only for the menu, but the atmosphere as well. It is advertised that they use 100% outside air, and I must say, it was very refreshing! To start, everyone in our party ordered a "fizzy" which is included on happy hour. These are non- alcoholic options that are certainly just as enjoyable as any cocktail. My favorite by far was the guava. It had a nice tang to complement the sweetness. We all shared the curry fries to start and let me tell you, after the basket was empty, I was ready to order more. I also wanted to try another fizzy, however, the service was a bit slow, despite being the only party in the restaurant. I did not get a chance to order another drink until after all of our entrees arrived. Fortunately, everyone at the table ordered a different variety of fizzies and I was able to try them all, and they all were delicious. I am also glad I was not able to order more curry fries because our meals were not only incredibly filling, but we had some left overs. I had the Mofongo, my husband had the buss up shut, and my parents shared the lo mein and a Cubano. I really enjoyed the tomato bourbon sauce on the Mofongo and did not leave a drop of it behind. We ordered a couple of sides as well that were nothing exciting. I ordered papaya slaw and corn bread, both were a bit bizarre to me. With the slaw, it was mostly pickled cabbage, which is a great accent to a sandwich, but eats difficult on its own with the strong acidity, and I was missing papaya, frankly. The cornbread also ate more as an aggressively sweet cinnamon cake that would go well with coffee, but not as a savory accent to the meals we ordered. On that note- we asked about dessert, but our server told us they don't really offer a dessert menu, so we went elsewhere to find celebration birthday dessert. I wanted to mention this for any sugar lovers out there before they visit expecting to round out their experience here. All in all a solid dinner, and perfectly seasoned meals!

Yes. Went during restaurant week. Parking is a little tight in the area but we found something. It took us a minute to be seated. Our server was great and I forgot her name (starts with a R). We got water and she shared the menu for restaurant week. I was with others so we ordered different items to try them. I got the noodle dish while others got a rice dish and curry dish. Overall, everything was good. The dessert was fried banana which was actually good. Overall great time, wonderful service and good food.

This is a super fun and delicious vegan spot to hit up for when you're sick of veggie burgers and vegan Mac n cheese. The atmosphere is modern and stylish and the drinks were also fire. My favorite thing was the fried cauliflower wingers and the casareep rice bowl. We also ordered the buss up shut and coconut curry - but I felt these two tasted too similar. The cornbread was delicious though! I also really appreciated the sweetness levels dictated on the menu! I'll def be back to try the other items!

Even though I went here a few weeks ago I will still write about those cute spot. My friend and I got some food prior to going to a bass ball game and we were not disappointed. We shared the curried waffle fries and i believe the Bake and Chana Sandwhich. We were curried up by the time we finished both dishes. So delicious. The service was excellent, we sat at the bar and the beautiful lady who was there that day took care of us. The space is nice and big and has ample seating. I think one of my favorite things about that place were the bathrooms lol. Fun place to get some good food.

Bang on up to the bar for a beverage!

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience.
