So at first I didn't believe the high rating because usually it's overrated. Not this place. Bangers is legit. Family friendly, very helpful, and amazing tasting food. I had Hickory Wild Boar w/Cheddar & Jalepeño on Mixed Greens topped with Caramelized Onions, Pepperonicinis, & Garlic Aioli. Picture below. After walking in, they first asked if we'd been there before. Upon saying no, the way the menu worked was explained to us - along with the owner introducing himself. One of the guys helped me decide what to get and what combinations would be best for a specific meat. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to visit again. This is such a great Bend eatery. The sausages and toppings are delicious. The unexpected treat is the outstanding homemade chimichurri that is grandma's special recipe from Argentina. They sell it packaged to take home if you want more. Their beer selection is paired nicely with the sausages they serve. A definite favorite place for us. read more

What a great experience! After seeing the incredible reviews online we knew we had do stop by to see what the hype was all about. The food is amazing and beyond creative. The owner and his dad are adorable, you really feel apart of the family as soon as you walk in. Outstanding place! Very kid friendly. We sat outside and the wait staff was helpful and immediately provided coloring books and crayons to keep tour three grandchildren busy while we ordered brats and sides. Yup. It's good. I was a little skeptical about all AMAZING reviews. But it was simply perfect. You get a lot of good food for your money. The staff loves everyone that walks in. I had the Andouille sausage, on a salad, with chimichurri, warm sauerkraut and pepperoncinis. It was amazing 5 star worthy. The environment was clean and welcoming. Wow! What's there to say that hasn't already been said? This was our first time, so we chose conservatively. Our 8 year old had a banger with cheese, mayo, ketchup, mustard. My husband had the banger with grilled onions, cheese, and chimi mayo. I had the banger with chili and extra cheese. We also shared a medium order of bacon Gorgonzola fries. When they bright out the order, she'd left about a third of the fries plain for our son. I was so grateful, cause otherwise he wouldn't of had any. She also brought out some of their fry sauce--which was delicious. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience! The food was delicious and the service phenomenal! Love this place. What is not to like. Sausage is a favorite and they have a great selection. Can't say I have a favorite but wild boar up there. Last time I tried a salad. Not my normal selection but watching my carbs. I was amazed at how good this was. Presentation was amazing and with a great selection of toppings and sausage was delicious. Now there is the homemade chimichurri sauce. To die for. I bought a jar to take home and put it on everything. Well not my cheerios. On second thought maybe I will try that tomorrow. Just another typical family owned business in Bend. That is to say a wonderful place to hang out and feel like everyone working there is glad to see you and take care of you. What a great little restaurant! We decided to try them since they were #1 in the nation according to Yelp. It must have been obvious it was our first visit- the owner was there when we were trying to figure out what to order. He asked if it was our first time, we let him know it was. Once we figured out what to eat (with the help of the girl taking our order), we found a table. Soon after, the owner came over with a complementary order the best chimichurri we have ever had, and some wonderful bread to dip it in. He explained it was his wife's recipe, and that people from all over come in just to buy a jar. Lunch was awesome, everyone was super friendly and helpful- we left with two jars of the chimichurri and a t-shirt (oh and the sausages and beer were great too!) read more

Spent a week in Bend and this is hands-down the best food we had, I wish we had a chance to go a second time before we left. got the Argentinian special! Patio space was nice & laid back. I've been to this location three times now, the owner and the workers there are very delightful , very accommodating they will adjust items on the menu for you, which I really like. I would say it is what it is if you're interesting having a good bratwurst or sausage and a beer it's a place to go to. Their assortment of fries are very slender string fries and they put toppings on it, which I wouldn't recommend because they really don't hold the toppings. It would be nicer if they get larger fries in to do what they're trying to do. Another recommendation is that they put a-lot of mustard directly on the sauerkraut, instead of on top of the brat because of this it just falls off when you take a bite. All in all I enjoyed my meals there they have a great outdoor eating area. While the staff members check back with you which is really nice also. read more

I ordered the Banger & Mash(standard sausage with mashed potatoes) an a dark beer(I don't know which one since my partner ordered it for me...sorry). The service was five star. The cashier took the time to explain the menu an talked with us about what we liked an what sausages would possibly appealed to us. The Banger sausage had a nice flavor. It was neither too spicy nor too bland. I loved the caramelized onions with gravy that came with the Banger, but I was disappointed that they had run out of mash( mash potatoes). Instead of Mash I got french fries wish made the meal OK, but a little disappointing. It was the gravy an the onions that tie the Banger an the fries together. Otherwise it would have made meal just sausage an fries with nothing complementing each other. My partner had the Mac & cheese an while the Mac & Cheese were good it still wasn't the right side for the Banger. We also ordered the Chimichurri W/Bread. I have spent a lot of time down in Argentina so I had lots of Chimichurri( both good & bad). I liked the Chimichurri, but I wished they had used a more substantial bread. Big Ed's bread is just too mushy. It was like using Wonder Bread to get to the Chimichurri. The only suggestion would be to toast the bread before serving it with the Chimichurri. It's a good place for sausages especially if you like specialty( Wild Boar, Elk, Duck, ...) sausages but the meal just doesn't make the grade as my go to place(4-star) for sausages nor that I would drive 100+ miles(5-star) just to have a meal here. I was hoping to be blown away with the food since other have rated it 5-star an I left disappointed!! But I will be back hoping to be Wowed an maybe raise my rating!! PS I like the pairing of the dark beer with the Banger. The dark beer flavored held up an complement the flavor of the Banger. But if I had gone with a Bratwurst or chicken Basel I probably would have chosen a lighter beer from Monkless or non IPA from one of the local breweries. read more

Amazing, tasty sausages and awesome service! This place was so delicious and the owners/staff are so friendly we went there 3 times in our week in Bend. Every sausage was delicious - bratwurst, Italian, duck, English - you name it we tried it - and it was great! While I wouldn't call the bratwurst traditional spices it was still a wonderful well made sausage. My fav was definitely the Italian - the spices were just right! Their chimichurri sauce is delicious - and addictive! On top of the delicious food, the service was outstanding and very friendly. This has become one of our new favs in Bend and we'll be coming back for more! read more

Bangers & Brew pops up with 5 stars and we knew we had to give it a try. As soon as we got there, we knew why it had such high praise. The staff walked us through the whole menu and graciously showed us around. We ordered the Bangers and Mash and IPA sausage. Both were fabulous. They have TV's for your sporting events and blankets if you choose to sit outside. Almost forgot one thing, if you're die hard sharks family like us, beware... it's a Kings restaurant. Wow! Such amazing veggie dogs! My wife and I were definitely running late for a flight but we stopped in anyway. Slammed two IPAs and had our veggie dogs on Mac and cheese ready in about 10 mins.
