We came up for a ski trip and this place is near the Mt. Bachelor village resort so we checked it out after the long day and they had some of the best brats and options on them I ever had, you customize it. The staff we super friendly, talkative and attentive and good options on beer. we'll be coming back here next time we make a trip. read more

This place was simply amazing. Greeted by a really nice gentleman I'm assuming was the owner. He explained the whole menu and made recommendations for the kids. He was spot on. Our food was delicious. The kids and I shared bangers and mash, mac and cheese, and a garden salad. My husband got the elk banger. The mashed potatoes were my favorite - the gravy was awesome! I haven't had that good of mashed potatoes ever before. My husband stole most of our mac and cheese which was also super tasty. I don't usually particularly like bangers but ours was really good. Excellent food at this little restaurant. The staff are friendly and there's a decent selection of beers on tap. Ended up having the Alligator Andouille sausage with sauerkraut and pepperoncinis with garlic aioli sauce paired with a Guinness, and it was incredible. We also had an order of bacon Gorgonzola fries that were amazing. For seating, they have a smaller area that is indoor and leads to a covered outdoor patio. We are from out of town and found Bangers on Yelp--thanks for doing a great job everyone--and the hard-to-come-by 5 star rating is well deserved! We didn't stand in the door more than 10 seconds and the owner was out from behind the counter asking if this was our first time and explaining the entire menu and ordering process. It was obvious that this type of service is common place. We ordered the Gorgonzola, bacon fries--totally amazing and perfect with the drizzle of aioli in top. All of us had a different banger and none were disappointed. High quality brats with creative toppings and a crunchy/tender grilled bun. Great service, great food, great beer=a BIG win! We would not ordinarily pick a restaurant that has German food as its description. It's just not usually our thing, but when I saw how highly rated this place was I decided to check it out. After Reading the reviews we decided even though we wouldn't be craving sausage we'd give it a try. IT IS THAT GOOD!!! We got the duck bacon and jalapeño sausage to share they cut it in half for us and put all our toppings on the side so we could make up our halves as we liked! This was the best Sausage I've ever had! I highly recommend the duck! We also ordered the bread with chimichurri and oh my goodness it was so good we bought a 16 oz container of their sauce! And also ordered fries with the chimichurri! Everything, including the amazing friendly service, was worthy of 5 stars! They even brought us a free sausage to our table to sample. The beer was great and the food was even better. I ordered a Black Pepper Garlic sausage with some veggies and delicious curry ketchup. My husband ordered a Banger with veggies and curry ketchup. We also got a medium Gorgonzola fries which was huge and we would probably order a small next time. There was a lot of cleaning happening and everyone was wearing PPE so we felt very comfortable. First off, the service was excellent. Its always a little bit intimidating walking into a new place but the owner was so extremely friendly, informative and inviting. We ordered the banger and the brats and mash. I did prefer the banger over the brat but both were really good. I don't even like onions but even the caramelized onions were delicious. I'm super late in doing this. My wife and I visited Bend last month for the very first time. We walked to Bangers & Brews from our hotel for some lunch. One of the most memorable experiences I had in Bend was sharing a pretzel and some sausages with my wife. Made us feel like we were back in Germany (really). I did make a suggestion that they add a menu item that would take their pretzel, make it into a bun and then server the sausage in a pretzel bun..... My girlfriend and I came here for the first time today, and it was AMAZING, we loved it. The sausages were perfect, my girlfriend got the chicken sausage with caramelized onions and jalapeno peppers, she loved it. I got the regular one with caramelized onions and sweet peppers and the chimichurri sauce, BOMB. we also got both the regular and sweet potato fries, both amazing lol. I got the belgium beer they have at the time, it was great. Nice place with plenty of parking, we had no problem finding any seats, they have TVs to watch, service was great, and theyre dog friendly.
