What a great place!!! We came across by chance and thanks god for it!!! They have a great variety of sausages and multiple options regarding the kind you wan, how you like them served and with what! Veal, pork, elk, venison, snake... yes SNAKE!!! I mean, this is a place to try even if you don't feel adventurous enough to eat snake!!! My prime choice (once you choose you meat which is entirely up to you) I liked mine in a bun with sauerkraut and sautéed onions... that's it!!! So glad we made it in during our visit to Bend! The homemade chimichurri was a favorite of ours as well as the chicken and jalapeño sausage. Looking forward to see if they add any 100% beef or other game sausages to their menu because we were pretty limited in choice due to being a non-pork family. Super friendly staff, took care of us and our kids. They brought out coloring books. Made sure we had some bread and chimichurri to snack on while waiting. Promptly greeted with a big smile and knowledgeable staff, which was helpful being a first timer. Ordered the Gorgonzola fries, I had the hot andouille with the homemade chimichurri, sourkrout,and peperoncis. My husband had the wild boar with cheddar hot mustard and jalapeños. The food was amazing, but my favorite part was the welcoming community feel. Oh my wow. Everything was amazing. From the second we walked in we were greeted and had an in depth explanation of the menu. Big fan of the set-up of this place. Choose your dog, choose 2 sauces, choose 2 toppings. Sounds easy, but when you see the menu the combos are endless. The dogs are cooked to order and you can add chips or fries. The fries are very good with the thin cut style. They even have cheese covered for $4. Price isn't too bad, about $10 for a dog and fries. The selection of meats and sauces are awesome. Get the chimchurri sauce and bread as an appetizer, they make it in house. read more

What an outstanding lunch! I'm so glad we stopped!! Our group had the Italian sausage, the Italian chicken sausage, and the veggie smoked apple. For sides we had the tomato & onion salad and the mashed potatoes. It was all delicious! The mashed potatoes had caramelized onions in them along with a gravy, and they were excellent! The service was exceptional as well. Everyone was so friendly, and the older man who brought us our food was so funny and personable! We will definitely be back the next time we drive through. This is probably my favorite hot dog place in town, mostly because it's the only one. There is a homey environment with very nice people. The prices are a little high but it's worth it for the great taste. I would recommend the chilli cheese fries, you can really taste the quality in the food. read more
