My man had Wild Boar sausage with sweet peppers, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions. I had the Duck/Bacon/Jalapeño sausage with spicy peppers, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions. OMG! This place is AMAZING!!! We of course had the house special - Bangers & Mash - and it was out of this world! They have an excellent selection of exotic meats including venison, boar and elk. My husband had the lamb and I had a bratwurst - both were absolutely delicious. The owner is charming and engages with all customers. It was a delight and made the meal that much more enjoyable. SO DELICIOUS! We went on a backpacking trip through Oregon, and after a long couple days at Crater Lake, we drove through Bend and found this place here on Yelp. Seriously SO good! I had the special for the day, which was a portobello mushroom andouille sausage with pepperjack cheese (and some other goodies). We sat at the bar and had a couple of their beers on tap. They were also very good! Overall fantastic stop - absolutely worth it! Service is also fantastic. Nice, blonde lady (sorry I forgot your name!) was at the register and very helpful, also very nice! Amazing service (also food)! I had put in an order via GrubHub, and my time kept getting longer. After well over an hour, I called Bangers and they let me know that my order had sat for nearly an hour, and then had been picked up, and another driver came for it later. They offered to contact GH and let them know what happened to help facilitate a refund. After cancelling my order with GH, I received a call back from Bangers, offering to remake my order, I would like to pick it up, or give a gift card in the amount of my order. I decided to take them up on the fresh order, strong choice! Best Italian sausage I've ever had, and my wife called the smoked apple the best veggie sausage she's ever had. Choose a sausage, choose a sauce, choose toppings. Get fries if you like and take your choice of a few select tasty beers. I'm not a beer guy but when you get a brat, my old Wisconsin ways kicked in and a beer was perfect with it. I ordered a standard brat with kraut onions and stone mustard. It was amazing. For the second sausage I went with the wild boar and garlic with chimichurry, fresh tomatoes and sautéed onions. It too was incredible. I almost did not go to this place before I leave tomorrow and man am I glad I did. I don't typically find a place I can give five stars but I just love this place. The family run staff is always helpful and polite. The menu is full of traditional, specialty, and exotic sausages. The bread is local and house-made toppings are always fresh. Full beer list as well with local offerings. The owner is super cool and from what I understand is opening a second location in Eugene soon. The vibe is unpretentious with community style seating. The garlic aioli or chimichurri are must tries on any of their dogs. I always look forward to coming back! read more
