Delicious and friendly! We stopped here for lunch with our teens after a river float. I was skeptical at first since I prefer vegetarian and wasn't sure they would have anything for me. I ordered the Italian veggie sausage on-a salad (no bun) and it was delicious! My family had different sausages and everyone loved their meal. The only thing I can do is pile on. I have been looking forward to trying this place as soon as the five star reviews starting pouring in. Was a great addition to the Bend food scene. I had the Deschutes IPA Banger with grilled onions, jalapeños and spicy mustard. This combination of condiments was listed on the menu as one of the many option combinations. Great sausage, condiments were a perfect compliment, nice and fresh bun (you can also have your sausage served on a salad). I also had the skinny fries with chimichurri mayonnaise. (Never heard of this, but it's genius!) Extensive selection of sausages from the tame to the adventurous. Or at least I consider Alaskan reindeer sausage to be adventuresome. Endless condiments. Fries, sweet potato fries, salad. Local beer on tap. The nicest of people own and operate this restaurant. Every person working was involved in my dining experience, every one of them spoke to me. To the young man who came over to me in line to see if it was my first time to their restaurant and walked me through the menu. I went back up to order a beer after we had already had ordered our food and there was a line formed. When we arrived, we were greeted by the very friendly granddaughter, who gave us a run down of their menu while guiding us based on our preferences. She (bummed I didn't get many names) was very sweet, knowledgeable, and hard-working. We were quickly met with greetings from her dad, Marcelo, and her grandfather. This is a must visit if you're in bend! We brought a large family here (8 adults and 2 kids). They were extremely helpful with arranging tables, answering questions, quickly bringing food for kids, and being super friendly. The main guy was extremely helpful in explaining how it worked since we'd never been here before. The food was so good as well! My new Bend Favorite......And I do not even eat sausages! At first glance you think this is a strip mall food place, not worthy of a stop. But the reviews were high so we gave it a shot. First of all the service was over the top incredible - The server made sure we understood everything on the menu and made suggestions based on likes and dislikes. They delivered a complimentary bread and dipping sauce, which was delicious, to the table while we waited for our food, and gave our dog a water bowl (we dined on the outside deck with our 4 legged child). Then we had an appetizer of the Gorgonzola Bacon Fries.... seriously this is a meal in itself - so good! Up next the Mr had a Brat and I had the caramelized onion mashed potatoes....... They are amazing! As I write this I am wishing I was in Bend to get more of these! Initially, we weren't sure how a place so unassuming could earn 5 stars, but we quickly learned this place is a gem. The owner/manager type of man came up and told us how it all worked, making recommendations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a fun back patio. This place is incredible! It was our first time visiting this establishment, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This was especially delicious with a great variety of sausages, with their rotating menu also providing many more options like Alaskan reindeer, wild boar, etc. All of our toppings and sauce combinations we tried were wonderful. The fresh chimichurri was amazing with the bread and we couldn't get enough. We've been traveling through Oregon and my younger brother has been ordering pretzels wherever we've gone (he's a picky eater), and this was the best pretzel so far, with a great cheese sauce to boot. We were looking for a simple place to watch football, eat a decent meal and we had a toddler with us so it needed to be kid friendly. We hit the jackpot with Bangers & Brews. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly, prompt service. My grandson had a heated patio to stretch his legs. To top it all off the beer and food were delicious! I'm so glad we were walking because we were stuffed! We started with a pretzel ( huge, soft and delicious cheese sauce) and chilli cheese fries. The owner brought us a sample of bread with chimichurra(?) sauce. Yum, yum, yum. Then came the dogs. I can't tell you what everyone had because they were to busy eating. I know one son had the #13 and was glad he didn't order any extra spice because it was perfect. One son got the bangers and mash. He loved it! My husband got the chilli cheese dog and was very impressed. The other son got the chilli cheese with the wild boar sausage. I had the grilled cheese which was scrumptious.
