We went there last night as first timers. Right when we pulled up we could small the sausage and couldn't wait to try it. Greeted by a really nice older man who explained the ordering process. My son and I ordered the chicken apple w caramelized onions and my husband was really wanting to try the venison rabbit which we found out they stopped carrying because no one wanted it. So instead he got the duck. It was so delicious. And really reasonable for the price $7.50. We were all really impressed w the wild game selection and the taste and quality. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The only reason I have it 4/5 is because I wish they had a kids option. A whole brat for a 3 year old is so much and he had like 2 bites. I wish they they had a hot dog or a kid friendly sausage. Overall, we will be coming back! read more

This is a really really nice place. The sausages are spot on, and the toppings are equally good and fresh. The place is clean, with a craftsman/contemporary vibe. A few TVs. My only gripe: I didn't see any traditional offerings. That is, old fashioned dog with your standard Ketchup and mustard. Lots of different sauces, but would like some standard condies. We've been here twice, and each time it was fantastic! They offer a great selection of sausages and brats, toppings and sauces as well as good beer. The place is very clean and organized and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is a must for a great lunch and brew. We will certainly be back when we're back in Bend. read more

This place is AMAZING! The food was incredible, we got a variety of different sausages ranging from the wild to the standard, my favorite was the venison rabbit with cranberries topped with sweet peppers, carmelized onions and chimichurri. We also had the pretzel and the fries with gorgonzola and bacon, I always love a good pretzel but there aren't words to describe the fries - soooooo good! The service was outstanding, they were so incredibly patient and accommodating with my super picky eaters. I should also mention a great beer selection. I started going here almost a year ago. I'm not really a Hot Dog kinda guy but multiple people told me this is a place to try in Bend. Tried it, love it! True sausages with great buns or a salad if your into cutting carbs(I'm not) lots of varieties like alligator, wild boar, water buffalo, rabbit, venison and of course the standard pork varieties(and a veggie one but let's be honest, I'm not trying it). The Gorgonzola fries have probably added a waist size to me so I try not to order unless I'm sharing, it is an entire platter covered with massive blue cheese chunks. The service is also super friendly, family owned and when they say family owned they mean everyone in the family works here, all three generations. Long story short, if your in Bend this is one of the "must try" food spots in town. read more

The menu is so well put together! There are so many flavor combinations and suggestions are laid out for you both in print and by the servers. We were very impressed that they had just started only about 3 months ago and were so organized. The staff are all wonderful, helpful and easy to talk to. I had the duck, bacon, cheddar jalapeño sausage and my lady had the regular bratwurst. We had several dipping sauces (the garlic aoli is fantastic) and though the sweet potato fries were a bit too crispy, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. read more

I came here to try the rabbit and bacon sausage, which turned out to not be on the menu anymore. They had a "new" blueberry and venison sausage on the board, but I forgot about it while I was looking at the paper menu and wound up ordering the elk and pork. It didn't taste any different from a standard brat to me. I got it with caramelized onions (which were more "sauteed" than caramelized, but still good) and cheddar cheese (which you couldn't really taste). Our children are picky eaters. While my hubby and I were overjoyed by the sausage menu and cider on tap, our girls weren't sure what to eat. The owner immediately helped by explaining the menu to the kids with a warm friendly smile. Everyone got food they loved and boy were the sausages and pretzels outstanding.
