I went with my friends because they had good experiences there. One of my friends had already eaten so we ordered a Chicken Curry for the three / two of us. I also ordered the $10 drink special. The waitress / owner were talking about how we should not be allowed to order because we ordered one plate and two servings of Naan bread for two/three people. Not very nice, but whatever. We did so because both of my friends had told me the portions were good size. Eventually the plate arrived and it was a smaller portion than usual. They were also pushy throughout to make us order more food. The food was great, but the service not very good. I am hesitant to return if the service is like that. read more

I wish I could give this place zero or negative stars. The waitress had the worst attitude I have ever seen. She kept bringing incorrect dishes, forgot to bring half the order, and instead of being apologetic, just told us to be patient and not to touch the incorrect dishes she had left on our table. I am wondering if she was going to serve them to someone else.. Too slow, unprofessional and not customer oriented. My husband & I wanted to have Indian food and so we went here. The restaurant is expensive and the portions are small. We ordered the paneer makani, the taste was nice & different. The tandoor roti came with a masala which was a tomato sauce, it was delicious. The raita & coconut flan were regular. This place has more authentic Thai food than Indian which is a fusion. There are lot of indian restaurants in America which serve near authentic Indian food. This place is not one of them but nonetheless the food was delicious. read more

Awesome authentic Indian food. Samosas, Pakoras are better than most other Indian places. Their paneer dishes are very consistent and delicious. Bread is very nicely done - just the way it should be! Finally... Some spice on the island of Puerto Rico.... This fusion of Thai and Indian food tantalizes the palate which offers you choices from two very different cuisines. I went "Indian" during this visit. The vindaloo chicken was definitely spicy... Had sweat rolling of my head... Always a good sign. The dipping sauce for the Naan was just perfect for the flatbread. Service was prompt and friendly... Almost seems like they're reading my mind at times. A little on the pricy side, but we gladly paid because it was really good food (Unlike another Indian establishment that's just around the corner). Ambience was on the contemporary side and featured an old-world Asian charm. Definitely the place for great Indian food in San Juan. Next time I'm here I'm checking out their Pad Thai to see how they handle one of my favorite dishes and how they stack up! I eagerly look forward to it. read more

Might as well replace it as papad menu that is missing ... -the mint chutney with the samosa was stale ... Had a bitter taste .. Also, the samosa's mustards crossing the line between a tangible flavor balance to going overboard... -dal makhani was basically just rajma .. Its good but really u shud market it as Rajma and not disgrace one of India's most wanted dishes on any dinner table.. There was no dal in it, just rajma - mango lassi was good.. - the paneer was hard.. Aaaaa the food experience is just bad..... So 2/5 here .. The silverware is actually bronzeware and is amazing so when in town do check it out ... - lastly, The price .. I generally don't talk about this .. We visited this place for dinner on our visit to PR. The service and ambience is good. We ordered chappati, panner mattar and dhal makhani. Being Indian, we do know the difference between chappati and naan. When questioned the waitress said the chappati is made on a pan and naan on a tandoori oven. Dhal was tasteless. Mattar panner was OK. Also the vegetables category had listed only four items with dhal and none with vegetables such as aloo or potato. Overall I would not recommend eating Indian food here as the chef is not Indian and does not know Indian food. read more

Kind and very fast service with really awesome Thai food (haven't experienced their Indian menu yet). The restaurant's vibe and atmosphere reminds me to that of a hookah bar; smokey, dimmed lights, low acoustic, etc. A little odd for a restaurant but hey, I really was there to try the food so it did not bother me. We went on a Friday night and all but 2 tables were filled and it did not feel crowded. We ordered the coconut milk based soup, a pad gra prow (written somewhat like that; the basil chicken kind) and a pad Thai. The soup blew us both away and I would go back just for the soup; it was that good! My dish (pad gra prow) was exactly how I wanted it to taste and loved it. The pad Thai was a little dry but tasted fine. The only thing I was bummed about was that I found it to be a little on the pricey side, since I have been to many other Thai restaurants and have eaten for at least 1/3 less of the price. We saw all these good reviews on sites and went there. The service was horrible first of all. We ordered our food and waited for 30 mins for it to arrive. And when we tasted it, dal makhni was burnt. We simply could not eat it. When we complained about the dal, we got a cold reply from the server. He said "we did not have any complaint for it before" (as if we were lying). They took it back and never gave us the replacement. They did not even ask if we want to order something else. The roti was like a hard waffer & burnt at some places. We could barely chew it. We also Matar Paneer which was below average but was eatable. So, overall, horrible food and horrible service!!! I would never recommend to go there. read more

This is one horrible restaurant. Bad food, super expensive, very less quantity, slow service. First I was shocked to see the crazy prices on the menu. I thought maybe the quantity will be more for that high price. But no. A dish that costs $16.99 will not even be sufficient for 1 person. So you know they are cheaters. Ok next is the taste of food. We only tasted the indian food. We had the channa masala and the paneer makani. Channa masala was channa soaked in tomato sauce. Paneer makani was paneer soaked in tomato sauce. No flavor, no spices. Tasted horrible. The paneer makani dish had only 6 pieces of paneer and that was $15.99 I think. Now don't even get me started on the naan and roti. The roti was as thick as a 200 page book and the naan was just some piece of bun from the supermarket. Oh the appetizer - we ordered Pakoras and it was some gooey mess. There were 3 pieces and cost was outrageous again. Have you anywhere seen 3 pieces of Pakoras in an appetizer plate? This is such a dishonest restaurant. Never go there. It is an insult to indian food. And neither the other nor cook were Indians which is why this awful meal. Please avoid it at any cost. This is the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. Everything I ate tasted like it was straight of the box They also are selling some sort of kidney bean dish and calling it dal. Sadly as there is no option to check off 1/4 star, had to give it one undeservingly. Now in fairness, I went to this restaurant when it was located in Coamo perhaps under different management or different chef. That said, I can only relate my experience at that location. My wife is of Indian heritage and I have over 30 yrs experience in enjoying Indian cuisine that I love. I travel extensively and make sure to dine Indian wherever I go; Canada, East/West coasts, NY, New England, Florida and hands down this was the worst Indian cooking I've ever experienced and the service was also poor. As for those who rate this place above 1 star, it didn't keep them from going out of business in Coamo. Poor service, horrible food- sorry NOTE- my visit was for when they were located in Coamo so had to check my visit date as being April of 2016 although it was well before that at their Coamo location, although judging from the several negative reviews noted below, they do not seem at all interested in improving at their new location either. Writing a review because it's super well deserved. Thai food was delicious!!! Chicken with red curry and flambéed salmon with red curry was exquisite. My husband and I absolutely love red curry (can you tell?) and this place had one of the best we've ever had. My portion of chicken curry was large enough to save some for lunch the next day - SCORE. i always order the pad thai, chicken masala curry and a thai tea. overall the food is good for asian food in puerto rico. but the indian food is better than the thai. however i havent tried a lot of their thai dishes. but service is friendly and food comes out in a decent time frame. if u want asian food i recommend this spot over most of the places on the islans read more

The Indian food we had there on Valentine"s day 2016 was actually quite good: tasty and big portions. Well, one could complain about prices, but food seems to be expensive in general on the Island. What totally screwed our experience was the bad general service we experienced. Personally, I do not even expect a smile, but, at least the waitress' question who gets which food when delivered to the table. The biggest problem, however, was the inability of one server to correctly charge the bill to the credit card. First, we were overcharged, which can happen. After complaining, I was told that the overcharged amount was credited back to my card (I saved both receipts). Checking my account balance two days later, it turned out that the wrong amount of money was charged to my card. This makes me sad since it was a good day, but what"s left is a lot of work and headache on my behalf. read more
