    Mango Sticky Rice

Sawasdee kā! In the mood for Thai? Look no further! Loved our early stop in for dinner! We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, pineapple curry, pad Thai and mango sticky rice! The place is run by a beautiful family who is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating! We were immediately: greeted, sat, drinks ordered and served; food selected and delivered! I was impressed at the thought to detail, kindness, cleanliness and swift service. Honestly, in no time at all we had drinks on the table and beautifully plated deliciousness! Attention to detail must be their love language :) I appreciated my whole experience! When you visit, you'll see the pride Bangkok House Thai takes in their food, service and restaurant!

I really enjoyed the basil chicken. Great flavor, good spice. Prices at the place were incredibly reasonable. They give you an egg roll and salad with your main course if you go during lunch hour. Mango sticky rice dessert was tasty and looked so cute. Food came out fast.

This is a somewhat decent Thai place in White Settlement, a couple of miles off the main roads. A good amount of parking available, too. There are a lot of 4 and 5 star ratings for this place so I finally got around to visiting there, and was a little disappointed. Ehhh, it is OK. Not great, but OK. We arrived at about 6 o'clock on a Monday afternoon. There was only one other set of customers in the restaurant and of course we were seated immediately, and our drink orders were taken also. I ordered steamed dumplings as an appetizer. I think it came with 5 dumplings. They were OK but nothing to write home about. I ordered a cucumber salad we planned to share, but they didn't bring it out until my meal had arrived. My wife ordered the orange chicken, and it looked and tasted wonderful, but it was overcooked to the point where some of it was crispy all the way through. I ordered the Pad Phrik Khing. I thought all the entrees would come with rice since that was what the menu said.. This one came with noodles, which was fine, but it would have been nice to know. All in all, this place is ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Fast and friendly service. The food is AMAZING. Lunch comes with a salad and egg roll. The ambiance is plain with two televisions, yet it is clean. The lunch portions are larger when you dine in than when you get a to go order from my experience. Nonetheless, the food is ALWAYS cook to order. If you like Thai, this place is a hidden jewel.

Bangkok House is great. If you are a fan of orange chicken, you must give theirs a try. It is the best I've had locally. I also got the Tom Kha soup, which was zesty and zippy and perfect. My wife got the shrimp Massaman curry and it was also delicious with a complex layering of flavors. My son got the Siracha fried rice with chicken and enjoyed his. It had the heat he was looking for, although he also spent part of the meal staring at my orange chicken once he tasted it. Great place for local Thai and Chinese food fans to try (the menu is mostly Thai with some very flavorful Chinese dishes as well) .

Ordered to go, they never disappoint here. Food is always fresh and nice spice. Definitely recommend!

Love that this place is close to home. Orange chicken is candied and crispy. I'm obsessed with this crispy noodle curry dish! Get a Thai tea and finish off with a warm mango sticky rice and you'll love it. Honestly haven't tried one thing I don't like from here.

Bangkok House is a very clean restaurant with ample parking. The staff is fast, friendly, and attentive. The food is made fresh and served hot. I recommend the Panang Curry, and the Moo Yung Somtom.

The kiddo had a rough day so I offered to take him out to dinner since we hadn't been in a while. He decided he wanted to try the different type of orange chicken this establishment is known for. I love Thai food, so I was down! IT was a Monday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. I think there were maybe 2 other tables, so we were seated right away. I ordered a water and he ordered a sprite. The sprite came in a can with a glass of ice. He ordered the orange chicken which came with white rice and I ordered the cashew nut chicken which also came with white rice. Our food came out relatively quickly. The orange chicken was indeed very crispy but also flavorful. The kid, who looooooves the orange chicken from Panda, loved it! He's actually requested it twice more this week. I was afraid he wouldn't like it since it wasn't like Panda. My dish however, didn't have much flavor at all. I've had cashew nut chicken from other Thai places which has lots of flavor. I actually had to put some salt on the dish. Maybe if I would have ordered a higher spice level? I ordered a 2, but don't feel like that should affect the actual flavor. All in all, we were satisfied with our meals and had enough to take home for another meal. I would like to try some different dishes and I love Thai food and this place is close by me.

We dined with our little ones, and they are definitely kid-friendly, which I love. That was when I fell in love with their Kung Pao chicken and have been ordering it every time. I also ordered chicken Pad see ew for our little ones, and they liked it. My friend and I ordered from their lunch specials. It is Monday through Friday until 2:30 p.m, and they have a lengthy list of the main courses you can pick from, and it also comes with a side of either their fried rice or white rice and an egg roll. My first experience was great since the food was delicious and customer service was superb. Danielle is so welcoming, friendly, attentive and has provided superb customer service all the times I've been here. The owner is nice and attentive to his customers. The most recent time was today, February 24,2026. This is definitely a family owned business that cares about their customers. My little one loved their garlic chicken since I gave him some for lunch and he even licked his little fingers. That was definitely a first. 10/5 for him. Their little daughter is such a sweetheart and it looks like my little one made a new friend. The interior is spacious with about 8-10 booth tables and 4-6 tables in the middle, and they sit anywhere from 2-6 people, depending on the table. Overall, all the dishes we've had are filled with umami, delicious and good portions for the price. As one of my fellow Yelp friends mentioned, "don't get fooled by the exterior appearance." It's a great spot and I highly recommend you stop by if you haven't.

It wasn't bad, just not my personal favorite. I ordered the pad Thai with fried tofu at medium spice, and it could have used a bit more heat. They don't keep the dry red pepper powder on the tables, so you have to ask for it. My friend ordered the panang curry at level four spice and really enjoyed it. Overall, not a bad spot. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.
