Four of us visited this restaurant for lunch today. One had been here before , and for the rest it was the first time. It is really a beautiful restaurant inside, and the service was excellent. The food was tasty and well presented. I would definitely return. Two of us had Pad Khee Mao, and two had Pineapple Fried Rice. One had Green Curry. All said they would return again and would be happy to try other things!! So much variety in the menu.

Came here on a Sunday evening. Had a 8p happy hour Sapporo for $4. This restaurant is located in an area that was built in past 7-8 years is my guess. So plenty of party. The menu is loaded with Thai dishes enjoyed the Thai grill chicken pad Thai and pork goyza. Goyza were middle of the road. Ok not great. Pad Thai ordered medium heat and it was flaming hot for my taste buds. Portion size was good. Mike our waiter was very helpful in educating Space is pretty. So this was just an ok experience.

This was the first time I tried raw fish and I actually loved it. I don't remember the roll's name but it had like a crunchy pear. The california roll that I had was sooo good. It had like tempura flakes on top. It was the perfect texture balance with the fish egg's saltiness and the pop in your mouth. They served like spirals of carrots and beets with the sushi which I thought was so interesting. Our waitress was nice and the place looked very cute.

So nice to have another option for Thai food! The food was excellent. Service was ok, you could tell they were a new server. Polite and helpful but just not very comfortable yet. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The papaya salad was so good! This is one of my favorites. We tried a bunch of different things and everything was excellent. Will definitely go back

Okay, okay, okay!!! Finally, pulled the trig and tried this place! It was nerve wracking to give it a shot given it initially had some issues with service times, food quality, and just figuring out how to enter the food scene in Milwaukee as any new restaurant would. BUT, was I blown away?! As soon as you walk in, high ceilings, gorgeous decorations, and what I thought was a restaurant that never ended- the space the restaurant had to host people was quite a lot, with multiple rooms. Our service was great from the start with multiple servers checking in on us. As for food, it was phenomenal. We had such a hard time picking items off the menu, but we settled on the following two: Tamarind Chicken: it was gas for no reason. The ratio between batter and chicken was slightly off (more batter than chicken), BUT it was a great portion size. The flavors popped off with a flavorful addition of jasmine rice. Pad khee mao: the plating was aesthetic with leaves and the bamboo plate. It was a good mix of authentic spiciness with a new twist on texture. The noodles could've been fried a bit more for a crispy texture amongst the softer veggies and chicken on the plate. If you're not good with spice, I would do something less than the "medium." Overall, great experience and will be back!

We did the all you can eat which was really good! The portion sizes are a bit small, but since it was all you can eat it was no problem at all. We were first a little confused because not everyone in our group wanted the all you can eat, but they said we all had to do it. Honestly the service was not the fastest but the food was really great nonetheless! The decor is also really cute

Although I am not Thai, I'm from Asia and traveled to Thailand twice. Was very excited about this new place as they claim "authentic" in their website... yet the Thai food here was just ok. Everything we got was either too salty or just bland. Service and decor are very good. Parking is very easy.

Saw the opening of this restaurant on the news and couldn't wait for the main opening. We went on the second day of the soft opening. Got there a couple minutes before our reservation and they sat us quickly. Immediately you could tell they hired a great designer. The decore is blue, white, gold, and black. The floors are fun, yet soft colors. The painted murals range from octopuses to women in kimonos. We ordered spring rolls first. They took a bit to get up but the long menu kept us entertained. The "spicy sauce" with them we definitely spicy, tangy, and great. The rolls were not identical but maybe they weren't supposed to be. The khao soi came out quick, especially The wait was well within soft opening times. The khao soi was super good. It was very solid khao soi. It was a lot of food for only $19 The pad kra pao was also great. $16. Clean authentic Asian flavor, not greasy or wet. Reminds me of a great Chinese place I used to go to.

New place that opened last week, this place is stylish and trendy. Has both Thai and Japanese food. I tried the Tokyo Drift appetizer which was tasty and had great presentation with variety of colors. For the main entree I tried the Pad Prik Khing at medium spice that hit just right. Green beans seemed a tiny bit undercooked but maybe that's how it's traditionally cooked. I like it a little more cooked, my preference though. Again presentation looked great and flavor was really good and had various textures. Staff was friendly and very helpful and I didn't have to wait long to get my appetizer and entree. Their menu is extensive, so if you're hungry either come prepared with what you want to order or just pick one haha, I'll have to come back and try other dishes because they have plenty to try! I like how spacious the restaurant is and has well thought out interior design with a mix of both Thai and Japanese influenced art on the walls. Plenty of seating area.

I ordered the Lion King and Crab Rangoons. Food came out in a timely manner. Servers were friendly and checked in often to see if everything was good.

Where to start on the absolute horrendous experience we had here. I made a reservation several weeks in advance for a group of 13. We were celebrating an anniversary. I was told when I made the reservation that we would have a private room. When we arrived, we were seated in a room with another large party of probably 20+ people plus another table of 4. I called the day prior to our reservation to confirm the time and I asked if we were to arrive like 30 minutes early if they would be ready for us, and I was told that the table would be set and everything 30 minutes prior to our reservation time. We arrived right on time (not early), and didn't have any place settings, and apparently there was a shortage of menus? So we had to share a few between all of us. We felt bad for the staff, who were all friendly and doing their best, but they seemed incredibly unorganized, understaffed, and overwhelmed. The most unacceptable part of our experience was that we waited nearly an hour for water. We asked several times, and eventually were told that they had run out of glasses. We did, however receive the alcoholic drinks in a timely fashion. We eventually asked them if we could get water in the plastic cups that the beer was served in since several patrons at our table hadn't ordered a drink; they just wanted water. Staff seemed to be overwhelmed with the amount of patrons that day and we had to wait a while to order food and we were all very hungry. Thankfully, once we were able to order, the appetizers came very quickly and were good. The entrees took longer. By the time we had our dinners we had been sitting at that table over 2.5 hours. I got to the point that I felt faint and ate a protein bar I had in my purse. At that point, no one was even talking or interacting because we were all so hungry and tired of being there. When the food did finally come, I was pleasantly surprised that no orders were wrong and the servers brought all the meals to the correct people. That was impressive for a group of our size. Finally, the time came to get the bill, and we had planned ahead of time for one of us to put it on their card and the rest would sent money; to make it easier for the restaurant staff to not have to divide up the bill. My friend was not given an itemized bill, she was just handed a decide that showed the total owed, which she paid and then, when prompted, left a 20% tip in spite of the horrible experience we had. We found out AFTER the fact, when she got the receipt, that 20% tip was already included in the bill. So we had paid the server-who failed to tell us that tip was included and didn't even deserve 20% in my opinion- a 40% tip. It's hard to even want to talk about the food because I feel like by the time we got it, we would have eaten a rubber elementary school hot lunch burger and said it was the best meal of our lives. I feel like most of us were happy with the taste and quality of our food, but I can categorically say that not a single one of us enjoyed our meals, and it definitely ruined a celebration that we had planned well in advance. I was very disappointed.

    - Good food, good ambiance, great service - No reservation made - Would love to come back and try their expansive menu! We have been eyeing this place since it opened earlier this year, and it did not disappoint! There was tasty food with lots of options, attentive service, and the interior was fun to look at and be in with the fun fish lights and soft and colorful environment. We started with the Grilled Squid and it was a nice start, but nothing too crazy about it. The squid had light seasoning and a flavorful spicy dipping sauce that really added to the whole appetizer. The squid was nice and chewy and there was plenty to split between the 2 of us. I had gotten the Garlic Entree (Tod Kra Tiam) w/ Mild Spice Beef. It was described to have lots of garlic cooked into and on top of the meal, and there was definitely a plentiful amount which I really appreciated! The garlic flavor really was the highlight of the meal, and the mild flavor was not too strong, and I almost would have described it as no spice really. Aside from the flavor of the meat, the meat was nice and tender and there was plenty to eat with the rice that came with it. The sauce coated each piece of meat, but I would have maybe liked a bit more sauce so I could have mixed it in with my rice. My girlfriend had gotten the Massaman Curry w/ No Spicy Chicken. The curry was flavorful and very soupy, which was great for eating with the rice. The coconut base was very strong with this curry and could almost be described as sweet, not too good for my girlfriend, but I liked it a good amount. Maybe adding a mild or another spice level would have made it a bit more savory, or maybe thats just how the dish is prepared. The chicken was very tender and so were the potatoes that came with it. I think it could have used a bit more pieces of chicken, and larger chunks. Overall a tasty bite with everything I could fit on the spoon! For dessert, we had gotten their Shaved Ice. This dessert was quite customizable, with lots of different toppings to choose from, we chose coconut jellies and red bean. The syrup I believe was "nom yen" flavored, which to me tastes like bubblegum. It was very hot when we went, so this dessert was a great finish to keep us through for the rest of the night. We had some tasty food here with beautiful and fun presentations and overall great service. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating towards us. While the food was good, I feel as though it could have used a bit more oomph in their flavoring. We stuck with the Thai food this time, but they also have a lot of Japanese items that I am sure are equally as good. The restaurant was nice and clean and I liked the bright set up and the cutlery that they use! We would definitely come back to try some other items from their large menu and hopefully leave just as happy... or happier! A lot of earlier reviews seem to be about service and issues regarding organization, but our visit was great on that end, so it is good to see that got resolved. Hopefully more people can stop by and try the food!

I heard that the previous owners of Spicy Tuna had opened up this restaurant so I was really interested in trying it out Atmosphere: the restaurant is very beautiful, light, and airy. Large space with good amount of seating including both booths and tables. Service: unfortunately we had really poor service that honestly is the main reason for the low rating. We were able to make a reservation at 5pm for 6 people at 6pm. We were sat down shortly after arriving, but did not get greeted by someone for long enough that we were looking around to ask for water. Half of us ordered appetizers, and the crab rangoons never came until after our meals arrived when we mentioned that we never got them. The meal delivery was also very staggered. Entrees came out first, when half of their food was finished we received our sushi rolls, and one person in our group never got their meal at all. Our waiter rarely came over to our table and didn't notice until we were almost all done eating. The order was completely forgotten and we were still charged for the meal and appetizers without truly acknowledging the mistake or apologizing. We then waited around for a long time after receiving the last meal that we had to get up and ask for the check. Food: I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the food does taste good. I have to admit it is not my favorite sushi restaurant in the area but maybe their Thai food is better.

We started with an order of fresh rolls, and they were excellent with a very tasty peanut sauce on the side. I also got a cucumber salad, which was a heaping amount of cucumber slices in a slightly sweet/vinegary watery dressing, and figured I'd take half of it home later, but we found that it was a perfect counterpart to my husband's red curry chicken when he needed to cool his mouth! So naturally there was none left at the end but it was ultimately a terrific choice. Speaking of the red curry, it was very flavorful with nice moist chicken chunks and a perfect blend of spicy and savory. His only minor complaint was that there were an awful lot of green peppers included (not his favorite veggie), but I imagine they can go light on those if requested. We also got a tom kha soup, which was creamy and very coconutty, and delicious. Finally, I tried the Mount Fuji sushi, and that was fantastic. Thin slices of crab in a spicy mayo topped off the 'mountain' and the sushi pieces were slightly warm which was a nice change, but altogether they were so creamy and just melted in my mouth. Honestly I was so impressed with that choice I'm hesitant to try something else, but next time we come by I'll have to because I'm sure there are other awesome options waiting for me. The restaurant is in a tucked away strip mall and is modest in size and decor. The strip mall also contains hidden treasures like a Chinese bakery/BBQ and an Asian store. We went early on a Saturday evening with friends. The service was excellent, although with some staff there were language hurdles. No matter - everyone made it work and we were left with an abundance of amazing food at a reasonable price. Wine and beers are served, as well as smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks. BF ordered crab rangoon as a starter, which was good. He liked it more than I did, but it was nice and crispy. I just didn't think it compared to other dishes. My vegetable egg roll was very good as well, but nothing terribly unique. He went bold on the entree and ordered the pork intestine and blood cake dish. He really enjoyed it and said it was quite spicy. The portions are generous and he did bring a lot home. I ordered the homestyle tofu, which normally has pork. I got it without to make it vegetarian friendly. The textures were very good and the sauce was intensely flavorful, but mild. I also ordered a supplementary dish of braised mushrooms and Shanghai greens. Everyone at the table enjoyed this dish, particularly the greens, which are a variety of bok choy, called pac choy. The mushrooms were wonderful, with the texture of wood ears. I also had plenty of leftovers to eat the next day. Our friends ordered the Szechuan spicy pork dumplings and they got rave reviews. My cousin did say they were not overly spicy. She went on to order the sizzling black pepper beef, which she said was good, but not nearly as unique or deeply flavored as the other dishes. Her husband ordered the pork intestine with clear noodles, which he enjoyed but said was extremely spicy. He did leave a lot of sauce behind since it was so hot. He also had the ox tendon and maw in spicy sauce, which came with chopped peanuts on top. He seemed really pleased with that dish. We agreed that we would happily go back to explore the menu more. Everything was excellent and I thought the prices were generally quite reasonable, especially for the quantity of food. I do wish the menu had more descriptive text, so I could familiarize myself with the dishes. The choices are many and overwhelming and the menu is huge. I'd also love to see a symbol for vegetarian options since it's very hard to know otherwise and many of the vegetable dishes included pork or other meat. As we left the restaurant was getting increasingly busy with people waiting by the door for seats. This is a popular place for good reason.

The Spicy Pork Dumplings have become my go-to appetizer, and the fried spring rolls are also very good. On a most recent visit, we ordered hot pot. Our server brought us the sheet to make our selections. You can choose from mild broth, spicy broth, or half tray of each. The spicy is pretty hot with lots of red chili peppers soaking in it, so I scooped out the chili peppers to keep rhe flavor but lessen the impact on my palate. For 2 guests, I recommend choosing 3 items from the list, maybe 2 protein and one veggie or 2 veggie and one protein to start. You can order more if you finish and need more. This is in addition to the two appetizers you will choose, which is included with rhe hot pot dinner. It's a great value! Sze Chuan remains on my short list of go-to's for Chinese dining, and I look forward to my next visit, whenever that may be.

I would've paid 50% more for dishes that were a little more flavorful and fresh. If you can't cut the chicken with a knife, there's a problem.

This was honestly an insult to good Thai food…read more We ordered two dishes, and neither one of them tasted fresh. The Pad Thai was a disaster. It was completely devoid of the basics: No green onion/garlic chives, no chili, no bean sprouts, no lime, no cilantro on top. There was no identifiable shrimp, meat, or egg. What showed up was a grey, lifeless pile of mushy noodles with some tofu and ground peanuts. It had some sugar, maybe some tamarind, maybe some fish sauce. The texture, color, and flavor resembled paste. Seemed more like a mistake than a well-prepared dish. The Massaman curry was slightly less offensive. Nothing fresh here either. No onion, it was overloaded with what seemed like previously frozen tiny cubes of potatoes and thin, unappealing strips of meat of which my wife said "some pieces are gross." It lacked the rich, hearty depth you expect from a proper Massaman curry. Each bite was worse than the last. Never a good sign. And the rice! Don't even get me started. There is simply no excuse for getting it wrong. Yet somehow, they did. It was quiet inside and I liked the decor but the staff looked as unhappy as the food tasted. I don't know how this place stays in business. There was no care put into the food at all. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks this is good or representative Thai food. WTF! I am mad at myself for eating it.

I visited with my cousin, cousin-in-law and BF to celebrate her birthday. We got a 5:15 reservation…read moreon a Tuesday. The greeting from the hostess was warm and friendly; she is an asset and really makes you feel welcome. Once we were seated and finally finished our struggle with what to order, we got our drinks. I had to go with the One Night in Bangkok again because it's just a really nuanced and complex mix of tangy, spicy and a hint of sweet. The smoke show also is impressive. My cousin tried the Berry-cation from the summer menu and it was perfect for her - very fresh and a little sweeter. Cousin-in-law got the Thai Goddess, with tomato, and it was very interesting - not quite fruity and not overly vegetal - very cool. Our food was amazing. The first several minutes were just a series of different people saying "Oh my God" as we tried different things. There was no weak dish. We enjoyed a good mix of seafood and meat dishes, that included Golden Fungi, Phuket Jor Pu, Namya Pu, Kurobuta Pork in Panang Curry Sauce, Hung Lay Short Ribs, the Samurai Signature Set, Kinnic Crisp Shell, Nam Prik Aon, Waygu A Rockfire, Mango Sticky Rice and a complementary birthday Yuzu Cheesecake. This restaurant has a way of really creating a special experience and hits on all the important points. Stunning,

Another fabulous dinner! The ambiance is fantastic here. We did check out the upstairs terrace area…read moreand while it was nice and bright, it was a different vibe from the interior. We started with the Harajuku Rolls which had nice flavor. There were a few that tasted quite fishy. The crab Rangoon was delicious! For mains, we share Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao both good portions and with the starters was enough food for 3, we even had leftovers. The Pad Thai was good but did not have a ton of chicken. The Pad Kee Mao was a bit spicy again and some beef pieces were a bit chewy. Downside was we got a weird table by the host stand right by the patio door, there was a lot of staff traffic and also a draft from the front door opening and customers waiting right by our table to be seated. The server was a bit interesting, not super helpful with the menu and did not check on us after plates came out.
