After 5 consecutive days (consisting lunch and dinner) of eating fried seafood, we craved for something less fatty and NOT fried. We decided to come here after reading good reviews on Yelp. Their parking lot was extremely hard to find. You have to go through an extremely narrow path on the left side of the restaurant to enter their garage in the back. My bf and I ate here 4 times during our 8 day trip to the cape. Every time, we ordered the fresh rolls (aka summer rolls in Vietnamese cuisine) and their Bangkok garlic with beef. Their menu consists of different types of sauces and styles and you pick the type of meat you want. My bf ordered their Panang curry with chicken. I'm use to thick curry, so I expected it to be thick and creamy. Instead, it was super watery. I thought it was okay, nothing special; the chicken was also very dry and lacked taste. We also tried their Sweet and Sour chicken, which was bleh... Stay away from it. Again, the chicken meat was overcooked and dry. A good dish to try is their Cashew Nut with chicken. The chicken was again dry, but the sauce was really good. I highly suggest their Bangkok Garlic with BEEF! It's AWESOME! If you have room for dessert, try their fried coconut ice-cream (aka tempura ice cream). It was delicious! Across from Staples. A small place, no....REALLY small and the owners most attentive. Dinner for two this week: mango salad, Pad thai, Spicy eggplant with chicken. All pretty tasty and enough to take home once we had our fill. There is okay Thai around the area but we thought this meal particularly good and better than we have been accustomed to at other stops. Amazing! I'm vegan and went with two non-vegans and we were all happy and satisfied to say the least! Tons to choose from, extremely reasonable prices, and the staff are such friendly, attentive, kind people. I could come here every week! The only downfall is that it is an extremely small restaurant and can't seat very many people, so sometimes takeout may be necessary but 100% worth it! Excellent Thai spot on the cape! The place is very small and perhaps debatable from the outside, but the food is delicious. I had the fresh spring roll which were rather small but came with one of the best peanut sauces I've ever had. For an entree I recommend the yellow curry. The curry had more of a medium spice level rather than a light spice but it was tolerable. Make sure not to miss out on this spot! read more

Yes, this jewel only has seating for about 19 people, and a small parking lot, but the owners do a great job with the small space. The food is as delicious as you'll find anywhere and the service is prompt and friendly. I've enjoyed several vegetarian items off the menu and several of my family and friends enjoy the meat dishes. If tables are full, it's worth the wait for one to open up, or choose take-out. Sammy and Nit now have lots of regulars, based on the very tasty food and the relaxed friendly atmosphere. This place is great. The owners are amazing! If I'm not sure what I want I tell them what kind of mood I'm in and they make a recommendation nth at always pleases me. The Tom Ka Kai is amazing, the Pad Thai is always good, but I am always amazed when I go with their recommendation. I live a few blocks away and this is my go to place for those days when I just don't feel like cooking. I'm an excellent cook and foodie, I even write a blog on food and beverage. Who would have guessed that the best Thai food outside of Thailand (where I have traveled many times) would be in this little hole in the wall restaurant on Cape Cod? Fabulous pad thai (tastes as if it just came from a street cart in Bangkok) and all the other dishes have tasted authentic and incredibly fresh. Service is very solicitous (very Thai!) . it was pretty good. i got the ginger stir fry with chicken. it was nice and lean, good quality chicken meat (i.e. sliced breast meat). it was a little bland, however, but that's usually the case when having thai w/o curry or noodles. the spring rolls were good, but the shrimp was a little fishy smelling. portions are pretty good size. overall happy. read more

After quickly browsing through Yelp, I called Bangkok Kitchen and made a reservation for 10 people. Later on, after reading the individual reviews in more detail, I realized this is a tiny place. Close to giving up all together, we decided to see if they could honor on our reservation. True to their word, they had joined 3 tables and given us HALF of the restaurant. The other half was packed and people continued to stream in to get take out. The food was great and the staff very friendly. My daughter wanted Lo Mein and while I was explaining to her that they served Thai and not Chinese food here, the waiter (owner) said, "No problem; you want Lo Mein, I make Lo Mein" and so he did. The only thing that was not as great, was their sticky rice with mango, which appeared more like jasmine rice drenched in coconut milk rather than the real thing. We ate here last night. A tiny family-run place. The food was outstanding. We had House Special fried soft-shelled crabs and stir-fried shellfish. The food was just OK. I got take out of crispy spring rolls and shrimp pad thai. It was very expensive ($21) and nothing special. The pad thai had very dense and dry noodles with very few vegetables; there were about 5 small shrimps. The crispy spring rolls were very dry with no identifiable vegetables in them. We love Bangkok Kitchen. We NEVER are in Hyannis and pass it by. The food is delicious and the owners are sweet and hard working. I almost always order the red curry, but also love the ginger mix. Fabulous food. Worth a detour, though on the road to the Hyannis ferry to easy to stop by if you are passing through. Not a glam spot, really a hole in the wall, but who cares with food like this! I'm always nervous trying new places, but this didn't disappoint. We ordered takeout and the staff was very friendly. The crab rangoon was amazing as were the fresh rolls and I assume the dumplings (cause my bf ate them all). The pad thai was decent and the pad see you was really tasty. We are here from LA and the green curry and pad kee mow (drunken noodles) were excellent. We also got the golden triangles for an appetizer and they were very tasty. It's a small spot with their own parking lot but you might need reservations with groups bigger than 2 since it fills up quick. The server was really nice as were the owners. There are so many positive things to say about this place. The only negative that I could ever think of is that they don't sell alcohol but I don't need alcohol to enjoy my time here. Let's start with the staff they treat you like family the owner Sam knows our names and greets us by name every time we come in the door. The waitstaff is so attentive they know you need refills or that you're ready for your next meal before you do. Everyone always has a smile, I've never ever ever encountered an attitude from anyone. The cooks are amazing too, orders come out quick and the food is perfect every time. We are repeat patrons so they know our order by now when we come in we don't even have to tell them what we want. Try the crispy duck trust me on this just try it it's their house special for reason. Crab rangoons are the best that I've ever tasted at any Asian restaurant on the Cape! The food is good but at a hefty price. Im sorry but rice noodles should never amount to more than 13 dollars a meal. It shouldn't matter what "time of day" it is. and there is zero customer appreciation! when I lived on cape full time I must have eaten here five times a month and they got to know me by name. Not that It should ever be free but I literally spent thousands of dollars here, sent them TONS of business and never got any sort of thank you. It gets worse. Twice now Ive arrived to grab my usual take out order and they gave me the wrong one. I drove back from my house to give it to them (because they called me and asked me to) and they hadn't even made my original order yet! after waiting even longer for the food I should have already been home enjoying, they charged me full price. And yes, they gave the meal to its rightful owner... after I already took it home lol gross. when this happened a second time I didn't bother answering and didn't enjoy the meal they pawned off on me. I just feel like they took advantage of how nice I was and assumed Id come back no matter what. The restaurant is quaint but its size definitely doesn't reflect on the food. We stopped for dinner on our drive back to Boston on Sunday at 6 and there were a few tables open. The ambience was amazing complete with elephant table cloths and unique elephant bill holders. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive without being overbearing super friendly and welcoming. We were asked for our orders right when we decided what we wanted and our drinks and starters arrived promptly after we ordered. Even in Boston this service would be considered fast service. The Thai Iced tea was to die for and a must have. I also got the mango fried rice and it was hands down better than the mango fried rice from the Brown Sugar Cafe in Boston. The mango was sweet, juicy, soft, and literally melted in my mouth and the dish was altogether well seasoned, flavorful, yet not heavy. I wish I could have tried the fried coconut ice cream but sadly I was full. This is the first place I have deemed deserving of my first Yelp review and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Hyannis. Overall, great ambience, great service, a guy who looked like Theo James, and great food. What's not to like? read more
