This review is for a take out order. I'd give them 4 stars for the food quality & quantity but 2 stars for food not being ready when promised. We placed the order on line & their site gave a time to pick up which was 55 minutes from time of order. We show up at that time & it wasn't ready, we're sure they didn't start it until we showed up. A half hour later we received our food. They were very nice and apologetic but it was very obvious they were understaffed for a Saturday night on the cape. They did comp an order of rice for the delay. Prices are reasonable for summertime on Cape Cod. read more

Went here today. The food was so bad. I ordered pad Thai, garden salad, and pineapple fried rice. What den salad was slider cucumber, with full size ice berg lettuce leaf, slides eggs and tomato. Mind you they didn't mix it with any dressing. Each ingredient just lay one different part of the dish. Weirdest salad I ever had. Pineapple fried rice... the pineapple was canned. TERRIBLE SERVICE We came as a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. The worker asked how many waters and we said 6 waters for adults and 3 for kids and the guy makes a snarky remark saying "well yeah duh I was already counting the adults." As he brings out the water, he says "pass it among yourselves" and when we are confused by this service and not pleased being told to do service on his behalf, he asks if we have enough waters and when we are slow to answer as he's the one who came over to count, he sighs and says "ugh never mind" From the first 10 mins, we are all displeased. I don't usually write reviews but in this case I am making an exception. This evening I ordered Yum-tum noodle dish to go. On the menu it's made with seafood and I specifically asked if they could make it only with chicken. When I got home and opened the container it was all seafood. So I took out the seafood thinking I could at least have the soup which is generally very spicy which is why I get it. Not so here, it tasted like a watered down broth. Absolutely no spice no heat like they forgot to put it in. Was not my best choice for take out. Lesson learned. read more

As an Asian family visiting the cape and desperate for a meal that doesn't include fried fish - Royal Thai Cuisine was our savior! We ordered online and waited in our car in front of the restaurant for our pick up time and it was well worth the wait. All of the dishes came out steaming hot and packed with flavor. Interior was a little dated and dark, but we did take out so it didn't really matter, and honestly would have no problem with dining in for the quality of food. Wait staff was also nice and assisted us promptly. FOOD: The pineapple fried rice was the best I've EVER had in my life. It was just so so flavorful with sweet chunks of pineapple and a hint of curry sauce that made this dish addicting. I have no other words to say about this dish besides please do not leave this off your order! Our two noodles dishes (pad see ew and pad thai) were both just the right amount of greasy/oily to hit the spot and spicy enough to cut through. Generous with protein portions as well. We also placed one order of mixed vegetables as our healthy dish (much needed after eating fried foods all week), which was a solid choice. We ended up driving over to Wellfleet cinemas and having ourselves a mini car picnic feast. One of the best memories from our vacation - would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again :) read more

I've eaten here twice now, and am especially in love with their Tom Yum Soup. The broth is so delicious! We had Pad see Yew (sp?) and a curry dish. They were very good too. This is a small operation, so be prepared to wait. We ordered carry out for 8 on the on lone app. The app told us the food would be ready for pick up. This app even had a timer to count down the 45 minute. The challenge is that the timer is fictitious. It has no bearing on the time of preparation. We got our food after an hour and witnessing a lot of frustrated clients. When we got to our rental we found there was no rice to accompany the curry or entrees. You have to order it separately. So I called to order and went back to pick up the rice. It was ready when I walked in 10 mins later. The food was solid and we are tough critics. Avoid the crab Rangoon. We liked the steamed dumplings, salad rolls, sate, wings, broccoli beef, ginger pork stir fry, Thai basil chicken, pad Thai, red curry and crazy noodles. My recommendation for the establishment is to please accurately reflect the timing of the orders. Also please appreciate that we vacationers are bringing you business. Did the online take-out order thing, but the food was not ready to go for another 20 minutes after the specified time. As mentioned below, rice -does not- come with entrees, which is kind of odd because what else do you use to soak up the sauce? We've eaten inside several times before, and the service is fine. The food is hot and flavorful. I like my Thai food spicy, and they tend to cook it quite mild here, but they do provide Sriracha if you ask for it. Pad Thai and steamed dumplings are excellent. Overall conclusion: do the take out, but order in person and wait inside. Best option is to eat in. read more

What a delightful little restaurant! I stopped in for an afternoon snack of a couple of hors d'oeuvres, and was very pleasantly surprised. The plating was beautiful, the food was hot and delicious, and the staff was attentive. Don't let the austere interior or tiny strip mall location deter you. The back interior dining room has some nice authentic ethnic wallhangings, and the tables are covered with attractive linens. I ordered the fried Thai vegetable rolls and the Golden Bags. Despite the mundane name of the latter, they were very beautifully and cleverly made - a crispy rice sheet tied with the tiniest sliver of a green onion, and containing chopped chicken, corn, and vegetables. Excellent Saturday lunch stop on a freezing cold day! Ordered 3 different lunch specials - all $9.95 each. The drunken noodles with chicken, chicken pad Thai and the massaman curry were all excellent and piping hot. Really like you can grab a beer or wine from next door and have it with your meal. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in this area. The sevice is great, the staff is friendly and the food is very good. Dinner size portions are generous and the price is good too. Upon arrival, there was a line waiting for their food to be ready and barely anyone inside the restaurant to deal with customers picking up. I usually don't mind the wait if the food is good, but the food was terrible! It had no taste, was gelatinous, was made with frozen vegetables and did not have much flavor. Let me start off by saying we love Asian food and Thai is a favorite. We came here to "RoyalThai" because "Bangkok Thai" in Orleans was not serving dine in at the time so we hopped over to Eastham to try Royal Thai. Now, we LOVE the food at Bangkok... every visit without fail but figured most Thai restaurants are comparable right? Well...NO. i can honestly say their version of Thai was pretty bad. We we were terribly dissapointed to say the least. Everything from the salad, to the apps, and then the entrees were terrible. It wasnt the worst food ever but it wasnt enjoyable or even ok either. if i didnt even want to finish my food or take it home...that indicative of how bad this restaurants food is. I will however say that the staff was so very nice and accommodating and because of this we didn't want to complain in person. We just paid and left. I even feel bad writing this review but I also feel like I wish some one warned us before we wasted our time and money. Came for lunch on a recommendation from friends. I tend to shy away from restaurants in strip malls,but this place did not disappoint. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. They are also BYOB. The Thai Rolls appetizer is awesome and the Thai Basil lunch special, that I ordered with shrimp was delicious and had just the right amount of spicy kick to it.
