I ordered the orange chicken with sticky rice. They gave me a quarter filled, cellophane wrapped, old rice. Not to mention, the portion of the chicken could have been from a kids meal. When I called about what went wrong and a possible refund, they simply hung up on me.

Very good Thai food! Exceeded my expectations since I wasn't sure we'd be able to find good Thai in the area. The drunken noodles, panang curry, and ginger chicken were delicious. The drunken noodles were my fav and the ginger chicken was my husbands fav. Restaurant felt clean and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Enroute to Cambridge, MA, Exit 59 off the Merritt Parkway is our mid-point for travel. We've been stopping off this exit for years, but hadn't discovered Thai Stories until our recent travel this past week. The food was very good. They offer a lunch menu, which consists of a main along with choice of soup (Tom yum or Coconut) and appetizer (spring roll, dumplings or salad). The lunch specials are priced between $10-14. A bit on the higher side for a lunch special. The chicken entrees were priced in the same range. Since, I wasn't in the mood for apps and soup, I went for an entree portion. And we also ordered two lunch specials. The entree portion contains about twice as much food as the lunch special. I loved the interior. I'm huge into photography and absolutely loved all the real life photographs adorning the walls of elephants, children, monks and other visuals that transport you to Thailand. From the old exterior of this strip mall, you would never know what lies behind the front door. Looking forward to my next Cambridge trip and lunch at Thai Stories.

We had the Thai sampler, pad Thai, and rice noodle soup. I would rate these (out of 5) , 3.8, 3.4, and 4 (per my daughter) , respectively. I would give them around a 3.5. The food was good, but I've had somewhat better. The waitstaff were ok, not bad. It may have been bc we were there at the end of the night and people were tired. All in all, if you're in the area, or it's convenient for you to go here, you will like it. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way though.

    A recent loaf.

Good food, rapidly prepared. Good service as well. Not excellent, but good. Will go again.

    So good!

The place had a really nice and chill vibe, really nice decor and a great spot for a somewhat nice lunch. They were serving their lunch menu and I ended up getting the mussels pad Thai, and a chicken curry puff appetizer and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was solid, and the chicken curry puffs were very good. But the stand out was the pad Thai. I've never had a creamy pad Thai and this was amazing. So flavorful. I didn't know what to expect with the mussels but I loved the mussels in the shell and it added a great flavor to the dish! I will definitely be coming back again to order this, and try some of their other items!

Disappointing. 2/10 Thai Iced Tea: extremely sweet and too much cream. 2/10 Crab Fried Rice: a dish they are known for. They don't skimp on the crab or egg. The rice is made with butterfly pea tea to color it blue. That was fun. It was a wok-y flavor and overall solid. Something that was concerning, was that the cilantro lime sauce helped the fried rice A TON. and I think that if you can't eat something without a sauce then it's kinda a sign that it's not the best... for $28, I would not get it again. This was the only dish we ate. 7/10 Tom Yum Shrimp: the entree size had peanuts but the appetizer didn't. Weird. This was by far, the WORST tom yum i have ever tasted in my life. It was sweet. No sour from the tamarind. No tomato flavor. No lime. Only sweet. What in the world????? 0/10 Drunk Man Noodles: no flavor except spicy. Missing MSG, wok flavor, soy sauce, sugar, literally anything. Still edible but we barely touched it. 2/10

My partner and I went in person for the first time recently, and while we thought the exterior + dining room were unassuming/basic, the food continues to be phenomenal! We ordered the tom yum soup, som tum, pla sam rod with salmon and the duck choo chee. The tom yum soup was one of the best I've had - tangy, spicy and not overly sweet. The som tum unfortunately was sweeter and had less fish sauce and garlic than I would've liked, but the veggies and papaya were super fresh. The salmon pla sam rod and duck choo chee were both fantastic! The pla sam rod sauce was a great balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The salmon and basil were fried perfectly and held up well to the sauce. The duck was also fried perfectly and stayed crispy despite the red curry + coconut milk that coated it. The veggies were also very fresh and kept the dish light. We loved the flavors and textures of the duck choo chee - the red curry was very aromatic and lemongrassy, and the coconut milk added some creaminess. So far, I have only been impressed by the quality of the food and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!

What was not good was the notable discrepancy in price on the website versus the actual prices. So, this review is a PSA because Thai Spice really needs to rectify this immediately and get all of its sites updated. At the time of our order two weeks ago (and at the time that I am writing this review), the website https://thaispiceauthentic.com/ and the PDF menu hyperlink on that website (and the Order Now hyperlinks on the site) all reflect outdated prices. If you access the business via the https://www.yumdthaicuisine.com/ site (immediately confusing because this does not appear to be the current restaurant name, and the sign outside the restaurant says Thai Spice) or if you Google the restaurant and access the Toast site to order, you will get the current, actual prices. But these are way too many variables for a customer to reasonably navigate or to know what is accurate. We ordered the following: - Thai Sampler - We expected to pay $14.96/99 (two prices, one on the PDF and one via the Order Now link); the actual current price is an astounding $22.50 ($15 was a good deal, we thought; $22.50 is not--not for what you get) - Chicken Pad Thai - We expected to pay $13.96/99; the actual price is $14.95 - Yellow Curry - $13.96/99; actual price, $14.95 - Sticky Rice - $3.00; actual price, $4.00 A difference of over $10. Not great.

Totally worth it and a really great way to spend a Thursday evening. Service is always kind, I tend to go in a small group with the intention of chatting, hanging out, and eating a few bites while we wait for trivia to start. We get in well before trivia so we never have issues with seating, but it starts to fill up as 7 rolls around! The chive bites are a showstopper--my friends and I almost always do 2 orders or more, and we love the sauce and dip everything else in it as well. The boneless wings are delicious and not a bar's typical "chicken nugget"-esque wing, but rather a really great fried bite. Their lemon drop is $6 during happy hour, so how could I not pick that as my drink of choice? And their spicy basil udon with chicken or tofu is delicious every time. Last night when I was there, the owner, Michael, gave us our shots for coming 3rd place in trivia and he was super pleasant! The whole place seems to have tons of events (like a Survivor watchparty night I'd love to catch!!) and just the best vibe ever. Pride flags are abound and it's a really great spot.
