SUCH A GEM!!!! I brought in a group of ASU senior learners that has been meeting to explore different ethnic cuisines in the valley. Bangkok Thai was one of the BEST!! They easily accommodated our group of 11 and Ruth was our amazing server. She brought our sampler platter (egg rolls, tofu, crab Rangoon, pot stickers) as soon as everyone was seated so we were able share a tidbit of what we were in for. In spite of the size of the group, Ruth was on point with timing (we LOVE to talk while dining), handling all the questions about spice levels, and made sure that all dishes came out fairly close together. She even took the time to tell us about her Thai culture and how the food is prepared in Thailand. Everyone in the group RAVED about the food.Several of us chose the lunch specials and everything was delicious and hot. I'm a wimp when it comes to super spicy food, but my red curry at level 2 was flavorful without being OMG hot. Some of us even enjoyed a Thai beer with lunch (BONUS!!). We were offered extra seasonings at the table if anyone wanted an extra challenge. There were very few 'to go' boxes when we left. The group tried 3 different desserts (mango sticky rice, custard sticky rice, and coconut ice cream) to share and each one was a hit! I called in a to go order and when I place the order I asked for extra sauce. I'm glad I checked, because there was not sauce on it. Maybe she thought I said no sauce they did make it right I was very happy about that. It was just as good the next day I was just disappointed I went to do the 15% off your next purchase off my receipt that they gave me noticed had expired the day before so otherwise I would've given a 5 star I just know next time I will check my receipt. Ah-mazing!! We came here on a whim, and they did not disappoint. We had the pad-thai 10/10, the yellow curry was ON POINT, also 10/10. The yum yum papaya salad was crisp and refreshing 10/10. You must also get the thai fried rice - SO GOOD. We plan to go back this weekend for more. The best part is that it is close enough that I can call in my order and pick up. So, my favorite Thai place closed down. I went on the hunt for a new Thai place and every single one of them were absolute trash compared to my favorite place. I was driving and randomly glanced to see this Thai restaurant. I was hungry and luckily had free time. I turned in and went inside, expecting to be full on disappointed with the food considering I had no luck finding good Thai food lately. THIS FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! It was actually BETTER than my favorite Thai place that closed. Along with the amazing flavor, the portions are big and so well priced. In the last few months, I with no shame can say I have gone here around 20 times. Not one time did they disappoint. I have brought many many friends here now and none of them have had a bad thing to say. Mainly just excitement gasps when they get their first bite. No other Thai food compares to Bangkok Thai! Nice little shop. I had the yellow curry with chicken, angel wing, and the crab rangoon with Thai tea. The crab Rangoon was good tasted different than what I'm use to at Chinese cusines but good. The Angel Wing was similar was good as well I like breading of it and inside is the chicken and stuffed with something similar to a chicken egg roll at Panda Express. The yellow curry I asked for medium spicy but which I thought I could handle but now I'm questioning my tolerance. It pretty spicy and I only picked out the chicken and vegetables and ate it with rice. It Similar to what i eat at home + being spicy. Thai Tea was also decent. Ambiance was nice at the entrance and simple in the dining room. I ordered take out but miss helping me was nice. Will try again next and will probably do not spicy. read more

Very good Thai food! Kinda a hole in the wall place but the food was delicious and served great portions! Service was a tad slow but didn't have anywhere to be so it was ok. This Thai Restaurant offers many items that I haven't seen before on Thai Menus. We started with curry puffs. They were crispy won ton skins stuffed with marinated seasoned minced chicken and sweet potatoes. They were tasty but didn't remind me of curry....just tasty. I had the chili eggplant with chicken. This dish was delicious! My chicken was tender and the sauce was bright, tasty and accented with lots of fresh herbs. For me it had all the right flavors going on. My husband had the sweet basil with beef. The beef was slightly chewy but the flavor of the sauce was good and this dish was infused with basil flavor like it should be. We both ordered our dishes HOT and they were perfect for us. Real pepper was used for heat and not powder like from some other Thai Restaurants. Portions were good. I thought they were large for Thai. They have sticky rice and brown rice on the menu. Many seafood dishes are offered and they have FOUR kinds of fish on the menu. At the time of this review they have these fun complimentary scratch off lottery type of tickets were everyone is a winner and you can get some money off your next order. (We both got $5.00 scratch offs) Service was very friendly and the restaurant appeared clean. It's consistently good Thai food, our go to Thai place. We've eaten here well over 20 times between my family. We've tried a little bit of everything and it's all been great. Tom kah soup, crab wragoons, pad Thai, pad de ew, pineapple curry, chili eggplant,Buddhist garden, Thai fried rice: they are all great. We were very much looking forward to enjoying our noodles with some egg fried rice. But.... instead of rice we received 2 egg rolls, the egg rolls cost $2.99 vs the egg fried rice that we were charged $4.99. The Phad Si-Ew was good, no egg and no carrots for a semi picky eater. The Pad Thai was lacking in flavor, it had a slightly different taste than other pad thais we have had, but the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The fried tofu was also good, we ended up adding some to the pad thai. The thai iced tea was pretty delicious. So make sure you double check your order so you don't get ripped off with a lower costing item. Still very disappointing that we didn't get our egg fried rice that cost a bit more than two damn egg rolls. read more

I absolutely love the vegetable fresh rolls! They are literally like salad rolls! I love it! Price is $6 a bit high but they are BIG rolls The Panang curry is pretty good! We will definitely stop here on our next visit to Glendale. Exceptional customer service, quality food and a modest price. We witnessed a food delivery person spill one bag of a two bag order at the entry door. Delivery person continued to their vehicle with the other bag. When they came back in to collect what they had dropped, they stated that they had dropped the other bag when they got to their vehicle. This was all due to the fact that they could not put their phone down for two seconds to carry the order out to their vehicle. The owner remade what had been wasted by the delivery person and did not hold the delivery person accountable. The restaurant absorbed the delivery person's negligence. Our service was courteous and prompt. Our food was as good as any Thai that I we have ever had, including in Thailand. Their pricing is a bargain for the quality of the food they serve. Found out after it was right around the corner one day and ordered the same and it was even better fresh out of the kitchen. I even discovered the joy of curried duck, tender and rich. It's become a staple whenever friends and family want Thai food. Today I ordered the same dishes with the same heat level (medium) and it was way too spicy - after just 2 bites my tongue was coated and burning. This is our go to Thai place, everything is delicious! Fair warning: when they say spicy they MEAN IT! Their medium is a hot, and their hot is... well, I'm assuming it's insane, but I can barely tolerate the medium. I wish they had a level in between the mild and the medium, so I usually will get one medium dish and one mild dish and that balances out well. Last time, we tried the beef Larb appetizer (we almost always get the chicken satay so we switched it up) and that is now our new favorite appetizer, so we definitely recommend you try that! I love their curries but don't have a favorite-I tend to switch around between the green and the pineapple red curry the most. Definite must try! read more

Ordered from the list place last night. I ordered through the website which was convenient,however, it gave me a time of 6:17pm for pickup. It wasn't ready until 6:40. Everyone was very friendly and everyone that came out of the kitchen asked if I had been helped. Which I thought was very nice and showed great customer service .
