Took my boys here for the first time to get our favorite pad Thai. The boys got beef pad Thai two-star and a three-star. I got a wider noodle dish It was pretty tasty with the three star. I'd have to say that the spice level was a little higher than I was expecting for a three-star. All of us felt a little bit more burn than normal. My suggestion would be to order a star lower than you're used to. The menu look pretty good. Prices are a little higher than I'm used to but that could be due to inflation for all I know. You was definitely worth the visit but I'm not sure if I'll come back or not as I have many more restaurants to try out since our move here. I really liked the cute little napkin display that they brought us.. They give you a fork and you have to ask for chopsticks if you want them.

    Casting of Thai temple carvings

I ate at Bangkok Thai in Spokane Valley this evening and it was wonderful. I found this restaurant rated highly online and those ratings were accurate. The food was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. I had Pad Pak, a stir fry with lots of vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, celery and more) and tofu. Yum! The sauce was light and served the vegetables and tofu instead of drowning them like some places would do. I went with two stars but will definitely bump this up the next time I'm there. I went at 5 and I was the only person dining at that hour, but there was a steady stream of people picking up take-out orders. That should tell you everything you need to know about how popular this place is! The large casting of temple carvings on the wall provides great atmosphere. The lady who served me was friendly and fun. Great meal! Thank you!

Really disappointed about this place. I ordered pad see sew last time and this time pad thai.. both times i was NOT impressed. Noodles were really dried and there were not enough sauce.. i ordered 5 star spicy and it wasn't mixed very well so there are some part where red pepper chunks were just sitting on the bottom and other part there was pretty much nothing. I am not really sure if it's the worth the price anymore. I've tried other thai restaurants in spokane that are cheaper than this place and got better food.

Super cute spot. Clean and fast great service! Easy parking. Ordered the drunken noodles with beef, Panang curry with chicken and spring rolls. Everything was outstanding! Sit in or dine out.

    Tom Kha Soup

Best Tom Kha soup ever! Was everything I was looking for in that moment. Server was sweet, attentive, and the music was great!

Green curry apparently? More like water with curry flavoring.

I ordered to go, and I got a couple items that I've had here before, but both were absolutely awful quality this time around. The curry I ordered looked like soup...I thought it was the soup I ordered until I realized that was the other item. The curry was so watery I couldn't even see it when I put it on my rice...it went straight into a pool at the bottom of my plate. The eggplant was also undercooked. The Tom Kha soup tasted like pure coconut milk and I had to add my own lemongrass. Even so, it was the worst Tom Kha I've ever experienced. To top it all off, these 2 disgusting items were extremely overpriced. I wasted 60 bucks and couldn't even bear to take more than a couple bites. Will never be back!Tom Kha SoupGreen Curry

First time here and the food was great! Service not so bad as there was only one waitress working the whole restaurant.

We had a group of eight and there was a lot of "not ready yet" which the staff handled with ease. Food came out quickly but mostly all at the same time. We had a few items that came out later but it was reasonable and expected. Ambiance is very nice, simple but elegant. You would feel comfortable coming in dressed up or casual. Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. All in all you should stop in for dinner and you won't be disappointed!

Ok, first, are you ready?…read more The people are great. I had friendly conversation with the server and I believe the other gentleman might have been a supervisor. With him we talked about Thailand. With the server we talked about the food. The decor is great as well. Made up like a very nice restaurant. You would say, o owe??...this looks expensive. The prices weren't too bad. Middle of the road. Now, if the food reflected the price, I would say it's an okay place. Nice hang out with good food. Family, friendly groups, friendly get together with friends, etc. But there wasn't a reflection lol. There was good flavor,in the food, except I needed to add much of the "spicy" pepper sauce to get any "kick" out of the food. You know, authentic Thai food is served, spicy. This dish didn't have it! Oh wow!....but The amount of "green beans" was overwhelming! I ate green beans forever, they never stopped. Mixed in were a couple shrimp, not two, just a couple. I saved the shrimp for last, for some variety. I finished the green beans and my jaw ached lol-I wanted the fiber. Good for my constitution. Please don't get the green beans/shrimp plate unless you are going to share the green beans with the entire table, friends and family. The entire group you are with. There was not much else on the plate. Maybe some onions. Like I said, the flavor was good; after the addition of the pepper sauce. I spent 18 days in Thailand just recently. My native Thai fiancé took me to all the great tasting restaurants. Look....I paid for a noodle plate, two plates worth of vegetables dishes (many things included), and a full plate of baked and fried chicken. I paid 300 Thai baht- the equivalent to 10 dollars. When I paid close to 20 dollars for this plate in question, I said to myself, I want back...I want to go back to Thailand. BTW...the food at the Thai restaurant in Thailand was phenomenal. Wow! what a kick! Yummy. I know a lot of Americans can't handle the intensity, but this restaurant in question, if they want to serve authentic food, make it a little spicy. And put a quarter of the beans served on that plate. People like shrimp. The cost should have reflected the amount of shrimp served on the plate. It did not. Fiber is real good for you. But if you eat that amount of beans it will surely give you the runs.

We also ordered the pad see eew which, sadly, was very disappointing as it was primarily veggies with only an occasional chopped piece of noodle. The bao buns were good, the pork belly being really great. The bun itself was not great, but the sauce in the bao made up for it. But it was 12 DOLLARS for TWO small sized bao buns! The kalbi was tender and really nicely charred. The flavors were nice with a sweetness that paired well with the smoky flavor and was probably the best dish over all. The bombay chicken also had a really nice flavor, but was so dry it was nearly impossible to eat. I got the ko moo yang which is a marinated pork dish. The flavor wasn't exceptional - it was also dry. We did get sides; marinated greens, egg, radish, and noodles but the portions sizes for them were comically small. I swear there were 6 macaroni noodles. The Thai tea was overly sweet and this was mentioned-! they only had coconut milk and told us that but it was so chunky, a sort of curdle milke texture, it was hard to suck through the straw. Our service was very slow and a member of my party had mentioned that she didn't eat spicy food and so the server didn't bring over hot sauce for the rest of the party who do eat spicy? Plus it was very slow moving which was strange because there was no one there, like it took ten minutes for two drinks which were sodas. We arrived there around 3pm and left around 5pm.
