Food - mainly banh mi of different kinds. They also sell their bread which is really good, firm and crisp. Definitely great for banh mi sandwiches. They also have other goodies and drinks. Service - really just order at the counter and sit down and get called when the order is ready. More like fast food but that's all you need from places like this. Simple and straightforward. No frills! Ambiance - as mentioned, sit down in one of their chairs, but don't expect this to be an ambiance based dining. It is fast food. Verdict - definitely a good and reasonably priced banh mi places that is my go to for some reasonably priced food and quick service! You should try it! Bottom line, a good sandwich!

The grilled pork sandwich was bland but meats was abundant. Veggies were chopped tiny and the cucumber was soggy and limp. Not sure if it was due to the meat or the veggies but the stomache was not happy a couple hours afterwards. Will only visit again for the bread which was soft and crispy.

This was simply awesome on many levels. The menu options were varied and they had me at Sardines and Head Cheese when I walked in. But my gold standard is the "cold cut" Banh Mi I had from a passing street vendor in Ho Chi Minh City for $0.90 USD that still haunts my foodie wet dreams. The one I got from here was just as good minus the sweltering heat, motorbike exhaust, and flies swarming the room temperature pate'. This is buried in the back of a strip mall spot that has plenty of popular businesses in Westminster. Instead of contending with flies swarming, you will contend with traffic circling for an open parking spot in the private lot. And, although every sandwich here is $6.75 (without exceptional add ons), in this age of inflation, that is a bargain considering a Banh Mi in my hometown of Minneapolis can't be had for less than a sawbuck. For that price, I walked out of this place with a freshly made, more than tasty sandwich that was about the size of my forearm. It was about 25% larger than most I take down in Anytown, USA. Kudos to them for their generous portions since in my book, size matters. I was also impressed with the ultra-clean presentation of the place. It was a spotless setup with professional baking ovens on the premises and a visible assembly area at the front counter so you can watch your food missile being made from oven cooling rack straight into your pie hole. In Vietnam, I got to watch it come from under the woman's bicycle seat and onto a discolored, well-used cutting board that probably had last been cleaned when Uncle Ho was a child. I much prefer the circumstances and appreciate the cleanliness of BMS 168! If I have to be critical of anything, it would be that they did not have all of their ingredients available on my visit (they did not have Sardines available). They had some fantastic options for fillings on the menu but I settled for their classic "Saigon Special" with an add-on egg. What I got was a generous portion of a lot of tasty cold cuts and pate' inside a crunchy but soft baguette with a spread of pate' and margarine-like mayo and lots of pickles, chilies and cilantro. The gratuitous egg was just beyond over easy so it was a bit soft but not runny. The warm, soft texture of the egg really pulled the entire thing together! I really have nothing much in the way of criticism here. I have read some of the reviews with low ratings here and I would have to say that my experience was exactly the opposite of those. To make it even better, I visited about 20 minutes before they closed for the night so if there were going to be shortcuts or issues, i was at risk for experiencing them and I did not. Kudos to them for a great performance just before closing. I look forward to my next opportunity to take down one of their fantastic sandwiches!

I have tried many Banh me sandwiches in around LA. There are very good ones for sure, but for us we come here. Unless you're somewhere in Vietnam, Little Saigon at Westminster is as close to street vendors in Ho Chi Min. Their Banh me French style baguette are made in house and stuffed full of yummy goodness.

Great hours, great bread, and nice staff! Spot amongst other businesses, across from the Asian Garden Mall. They have sweets, bahn mi, baguettes, and drinks. Would come bax to try other things.

This restaurant looks really clean and inviting. Service was great. I've been going to Banh Mi Che Cali for many many years and recently found this place. They have the same buy two get one free Banh Mi deal. The Banh Mi here has a lot more ingredients and tastes more juicy than Banh Mi Che Cali. The sandwiches here are about $1 more per sandwich, but it is worth it. The Banh Mi Che Cali sandwiches recently tastes very dry and lacks ingredients. They should put more mayo and/or pate. The Banh Mi here though has a lot of ingredients and mayo. It tastes really good. My entire family agrees. I will definitely be back. HAPPY BANH MI-ING!!

Had the grilled chicken sandwich today and it was surprisingly very tasty. Would have been better if they put more meat in the sandwich. Also got the green and white jello. Big no no. It didn't have enough sugar and was so bland. Maybe they forgot to add sugar? My homemade jello with coconut milk tastes much better than that. ;) Chicken sandwich: 4 of 5. Green coconut jello: 0 of 5.

Popped in spontaneously for a banh mi craving. $7 banh mi woohoo. Got the first combo one which came out pretty fast. They also have a variety of desserts on the counter and cut it in half for us. Wrapping/packaging standard. Baguette is less chewy and breadier than other places, the inside filling is quite buttery but flavors are neutral to my tastebuds. I think im used to more textural/flavor differences in the cold cuts, but it was solid. The jalapeños didn't spice my tongue. Overall, budget friendly, fast service. Didn't hit flavor wise like I wanted to, but solid! Good for people who aren't used to strong asian flavors.

The food was really good. The bahn mi's were amazing! We ordered grilled chicken, combo and beef. We tried the drinks and desserts as well. The desserts were diabetic friendly which I love. The service was ok. They missed an item of our order. The ambiance was clean.

One of my top banh mi places to go, and I am pretty picky. The baguette is crisp and airy! I ordered the wrong banh mi but was still happy with it. The baguettes are long, and they do not skimp on the meat. I could not finish the entire banh mi in one sitting. The only thing to note is that the employees there most likely do not speak English as their first language, even if they look young, so be patient! Speak clearly and keep it simple. We also ordered the pandan and cassava cake and they were decent.

We dropped in looking for a banh mi for my plane ride home. I settled on the regular pork banh mi. It want the sliced lemon grass pork that I'm used to. It was more of a braised pork banh mi. It might be a home style that's more authentic. Either way it was very good and hit the spot when I finished it on the airplane. I had ordered a brown sugar boba drink too. Also very good. Looking forward to when I'm in town again.

It's a pulled chicken sandwich that is absolutely delicious--honestly, it's the most unique "actual" sandwich you can get in the area. The Perfect Order: * The Build: You have to get it on Dutch Crunch bread with no tomato. * The Flavor: The Dutch Crunch is amazing, especially with the honey on it. The sandwich itself is almost like a chicken sloppy joe--it's bomb. * The Perks: I love that they still include those little caramel apple suckers with the order. It's a signature touch that I hope they never stop doing. * Rewards: Their point system is very favorable. I frequently get free drinks, chips, or discounts on my sandwiches. The Critiques: * Ingredients: Like a few other spots, this one makes me feel a bit "off" afterward. Since the meat is tossed in sauce and they add more to the bread, I suspect there might be some MSG involved. * Pricing: Things are getting expensive across the board, and I feel like most places--this one included--are overcharging by about $3. Five stars would only be achievable if the pricing was more reasonable. Final Thoughts: Despite the price and the "food coma" afterward, the #111 is too good to pass up. It's a solid four-star experience every time.

Avengers Assemble! This is a five star review and a…read morewonderful place that we highly recommend! The parking is easy in a small shopping center,, we didn't even need to use Pym particles to shrink the car to fit into a spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we chose outdoor seating, so we could dine in alfresco and the service was excellent. Both the main server and her assistant consistently checked in on us and made sure our drinks were filled. Service is very friendly and they basically had Spidey-sense for exactly when we needed refills. We ordered their chef special steak, which is an Argentinian grilled ribeye, but with an Italian sauce. We also ordered the shrimp, which is also a fusion of Argentinian and Italian. The flavor team-up was so good it felt like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner working together in the lab. For an appetizer, we got an empanada. This is one of the best empanadas we've had, as the crust was very airy and crispy, but not heavy and overly dense. Excellent texture and flavor,, honestly mighty enough to lift Thor's hammer tbh. Also, ordered Argentinian sausages. Excellent texture and bold flavor. It may not have a spicy kick as an Italian sausage, but quality meat and insides. Dr Strange would happily take us on a tour inside and out of this sausage with his yellow portal openers. Oh wait, we are the sausages, so guess he can't. Interestingly, enough, we didn't think that bread could be so excellent! We are big fans of French and Vietnamese style baguettes that are slightly crispy on the outside, but very light on the inside. The bread here was crispy on the outside, but also light and a little chewy on the inside, but in the best way possible. So it has its own flare and flavor. We asked, and they indeed bake this in-house, and you could definitely tell! They mentioned that they make their sandwiches with this baguette bread that is baked on premise and in-house, so we will definitely have to come back and try it again. That bread is basically the reality Infinity Stone of the menu. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambience! Kinda as relaxing as chilling at the Avengers compound after a long mission.

We parked in the lot and came for an early dinner at 5PM on a Wednesday so did not have to wait. The restaurant got busier as the time got closer to 6PM. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, truly stellar. Many servers were bilingual in English and Spanish. There were also a few foods and goods for sale. The interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a wooden house/cabin. As for the food, the complimentary hot bread is very tasty, and we enjoyed the Ensalata Argentina also. We ordered the Parillada Mixta for two (comes with side choice of fries, roasted potatoes, salad, or sauteed vegetables and we chose vegetables), as well as the Risotto Don Juan de Marco. The parillada came with a substantial amount of meat kept warm on a grill, accompanied by a chimichurri. The short rib meat was a bit tough but still tasty. I felt like the risotto was good but not outstanding. We finished with a creme brulee for dessert and someone also ordered a coffee (cortadito). The meal was solid though came out to $150 after tax and tip.

I wish they pushed the lobster down into the roll a little more instead of stacking it on top to make it look fuller because it made it a lot harder to eat. The side salad was okay. I liked the clam chowder a lot. Fries and tater tots were perfectly crispy! Flaming hot lobster fries ($25): This feels a bit overpriced for what it is and kind of lackluster.
