I called Banish Pest control because I heard scratching sounds coming from my roof and I was concerned that I had something living in my attic. Michael came out and did a full inspection at no charge. He carefully checked my attic as well as around the perimeter of my house and did not see any signs of rodent or pest activity. Eh. Started strong, not so much with the finish. Coordinated over the phone with Michael, who certainly seemed to know what he was talking about and said his technician Chad would come out, help us figure out the source of the fly problem, knock down any spider webs, and spray for spiders. Sounded good so we scheduled it. Chad had no interest in exploring the source of the fly issue when he showed up, despite my efforts to inquire about specific things I thought might be factors. Ok, whatever. Said he was going to go knock down cobwebs and spray around the house. I asked about getting up to the eaves and he said he'd get pretty close. I pointed out there was an exterior staircase that could help reach and that I would be happy to let him in to get out on the upstairs porch. No interest, just said he could spray pretty close to the full height. I'm not sure what all he did while I was gone, but when I got back an hour later there were still cobwebs at or just above eye level. With spiders still sitting in them. Not a single web on the patio was touched and I don't think it was sprayed either, although I had specifically walked him out there and pointed it out because the plants and cross beams out there were absolutely chock full of spiderwebs. I know the spray around the house did kill some bugs, so I do think that had he been thorough, it would have been worth the money. Michael is a great guy. Called me back within minutes of sending an email and came out the same day. Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced! I had a yellow jacket nest in my backyard under some arborvitae. I was worried because I have a smaller dog and cat that like to play out there and yellow jackets make their nests in the ground. I am pretty sure my dog had already ventured into that area and been stung. Anyway, he treated the nest but the bees were still there after a few days. I felt good about our exchange and agreed to hire them to come out. We've started using Banish Pest Control recently due to an abundance of spiders this summer season. Michael is a super nice guy. He was very responsive when I initially contacted him and was very transparent with rates etc. Michael was on time the two times he's serviced the house. I am very impressed with Banish Pest Control!
