The tech left and told me that the fixtures were not functioning and would need to be diagnosed with another visit. I was given a quote for 1100 dollars to fix the issue. I called Premo and Sergio sent over 2 techs within the hour. They were able to resolve the issue in half an hour. They were polite and professional. It was a simple fix and it cost me $350 vs 1100. My tenant had to live in a home with holes in the walls for almost a full month before it was finally repaired. The business operates very shadily. I have asked for a receipt for my payment numerous times, and he still has not provided one. I had to pay him in 3 separate transactions via zelle because his bank kept rejecting my payments. I'm not sure how this business has a 4.8 rating on Yelp, but will not be trusting those reviews from now on.

I didn't feel the need to check on his work as I trusted he would notify me of any issues (which he did once when he showed me an area he had to cut differently due to wall studs). The cameras were installed cleanly and looks professional! I was even more impressed that he thoroughly cleaned up each area (with a vacuum i think too) when he was finished. I had asked for a landscape lighting repair quote and he diagnosed it pretty much for free (I'm hiring him to come back to replace quite a few broken lights). We hired him to come back to install recessed lighting and a ceiling fan in a ceiling that had no outlets/wires. His prices are really so reasonable. He also worked on our landscape lights that had not worked in so many years. The entire job took almost all day and he worked tirelessly. He did leave for a lunch break but came back. Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

We got a couple other quotes from other guys that were pushy with options and we knew they were giving us additional services even though it was obvious that there was no rodent activity in the attic. Bryan gave us a very competitive and reasonable price. His crew came, did the job, was super chill, and completed the job. House feels amazing now! He replaced a tub drain in our 78-year-old home where the crossbars had rotted out, replaced the tub spout, fixed the weak flow in the sink, and re-caulked the tub. It looks practically brand new now. I've attempted this in the past and let's just say it wasn't anywhere near as neat as Preston's. The first time he came out he installed two barn doors and they look and work great. Pretty sure this would have costed twice as much with a plumber, if not more. Highly recommend!

Apparently I made a big mistake hiring the Unstoppable Handyman to come out (April 2026) to do some…read morework around my place. The job they agreed to was caulk the bathtub, check the water pressure kitchen sink, look into stabilizing a spigot in the bathtub. The fact they charged me over 32% more than there estimate wasn't even the worst part. I was charged $40 to look at the spigot for them to "make recommendations" after he said he wasn't licensed plumber, which I agreed to. In writing agreement $270 work order, apparently an "estimate" they emailed me. After the work, they charged me $358. I paid this but asked why the price increase? They said the "cost of material" (to caulk a bathtub??) and to caulk around the shower door block guide, which was maybe a few square inches to do. You'd think this would be included in price to caulk the tub, but apparently not. None the less, the caulking work looked good. But here's the problem - and it's a big one. I waited 2 days before using the tub/shower after the caulking to allow drying time. Finally when I used the shower, I noticed the spigot was stabilized, but when I reached down to the spigot to turn the water off, I noticed water coming out from the marble tile. I called and spoke to Preston, who is the owner of Unstoppable Handyman as well as performed the basic work. I explained the spigot was leaking water from behind the wall and I needed someone to come out ASAP to look at it. I sent him a video of me turning on the water, showing water running out from inside the wall. During our brief phone conversation, Preston stated that he's not licensed to do plumbing. He denied causing the leak. He told me, "I didn't touch your pipes," but he admitted to removing the spigot which is connected to the copper pipe. He told me that the original worker who installed the bathtub faucet (spigot) "didn't do the work correctly" and he is "liable"... "it's not up to code"... telling me it wasn't anything that he had done. Here's a logical question - if he didn't touch the plumbing, how does he know how it's "not up to code" or improperly assembled? He already said he's not licensed. I asked him if he removed the bathtub spigot and he said that he did, to spray a "backer foam" to stabilize the spigot. I told him it wasn't leaking before, it's leaking now, and when I asked him if he was going to send someone to fix it, he said no, he would not send anyone or take responsibility for the leak. Before I terminated the phone conversation with Mr. "Preston" I told him I was going to review his business on Yelp, Google and that I would also be putting in a consumer complaint with Unstoppable Handyman with the (BBB) Better Business Bureau, which I have every intention of doing. Preston retaliated during our phone conversation, telling me he was going to report me to my condominium HOA, as he made the false assertion I hired "an unlicensed plumber" who originally did the work, which was totally false. The only one performing unlicensed plumbing work was Preston, when he removed the spigot. Removing a spigot is considered basic plumbing work, which "Preston" admitted to in order to spray a foam behind the tile. Pipes can be damaged when twisting off the spigot if not done properly. My original contractor who installed the shower, Steve Miller, was not only a licensed plumber by trade, he holds a general contractor's license who builds entire houses. I called unstoppable handyman to do this work, mostly caulking, because Steve was in 29 palms building a house. After I called and spoke to Steve explaining the situation, that the guy is a handyman who doesn't have a license to plumb but he removed the spigot, "it's now leaking from behind the marble wall," Steve said the guy probably broke the solder on the pipe joint when he twisted the spigot off. Contractor Steve said the marble tile above the bath tub around the faucet is likely going to have to be removed now to repair the pipe. Contractor Steve asked if Preston offered to refund me, I told him, "no. He denies causing any damage." Steve recommended reporting him to the 'state licensing board' - only problem - I don't even believe Preston is licensed. I'll check. I will be filing an official consumer complaint with the BBB against the business, Unstoppable Handyman. There's no telling how much water could have ran down behind the wall under the bath tub when i showered on Sunday, which could cause floor damage as well as cause a mold problem. The tub and shower can't be used now until I have it repaired by a qualified licensed contractor, which will cost hundreds of dollars if not thousand(s). After I file my complaints against "Preston" with unstoppable handyman (Better Business Bureau, state contractor board licensing ) I might elect to take some time off from work to persue legal action to recoup my financial losses on this. That said, this Yelp review isn't the end, I'm just getting started!

Shawn is extremely professional and a great communicator. One thing I really appreciated is that he focuses on one project at a time, so he can give it his full attention. Because of that, the work moved along efficiently and everything was done carefully and correctly. His attention to detail really stood out. If something wasn't exactly right, he didn't hesitate to redo it until it met his standards. It's rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their work. The first two quotes were only going to replace the metal pipes under my house and line the inside of the pipes that run from the yard out the street (keeping the old metal pipes). But for the same price, Flow Right did a complete replacement of ALL pipes with new, non corroding ABS pipes. And not to get into the whole backstory, but there was a small request that was that was verbally agreed to that I thought they might renege on. But they kept their promise and completed the task at no extra charge as per our agreement. I appreciate their honesty and ethical behavior. I cannot express how pleased I was with their work and professionalism. The whole team was amazing. And nothing was over promised. They did exactly what they said they would for an extremely competitive price.

They came out but told me I needed to pull the toilet so they could jet the main line since I didn't have a clean-out. By the third day, I was put in touch with Flow Right, and that's when everything changed. Jess arrived right on time, immediately put a camera down the line to investigate, and explained every step clearly. His professionalism and knowledge were on another level. I learned that Flow Right typically handles major plumbing, sewer repairs, and renovation projects--not the simple small jobs. Jess stepped in as a favor to help out his family business and to help me out of a difficult situation, and I truly appreciated it. I was extremely impressed with the service. Jess is someone I will absolutely keep in mind for any large plumbing or renovation projects in the future. Highly recommended!

He did not meet me but sent a leak detection man instead. (I had already had a report done by a leak detection company which I had mentioned). When I met him a few days later, he said he would get back to me. I received one phone call from him 5 days later saying he was preparing the estimate. I never heard from him again. Needless to say, I chose another contractor who met me at our 1st appointment on time, had excellent communication skills, & presented a 20-page line-item estimate of cost prepared within 2 days.
