Meat quality good! If u don't want sauce, they will give u $6 discount, very good deal!

We were shopping near the outlet in the area and wanted some hotpot after a whole morning of shopping. This was a really great spot close and within 5 mins of drive. The service was pretty good and they were accommodating since we took our toddler with us. We ordered the premium all you can eat (AYCE) lunch combo, and we really enjoyed it. The premium beef and abalone were limited in quantity, but the other meats on the menu were unlimited. The soup bases were very flavorful and maintained good for several rounds of food. One thing we were not happy about was that we found a hair in one of our sauce dishes. It was quite a disgusting experience, given we ate directly from the sauce dish. They were nice about it after we reflected this. Overall ambiance was pretty family friendly, not too loud for family gathering, and is a great option if you're close by to shopping!

When I crave hot pot, Happy Lamb is my favorite spot. I love how flavorful the bone broth soup is and my boyfriend is a spicy lover, so the half and half pot is always the way to go. The premium meat menu is worth it: we loved the 2 wagyu options, the 2 spring lamb options, the fried donut, and the sweet crispy rice cake with the brown sugar center. Off the classic meat menu, the angus beef wasn't tender and we didn't like the fish ball with roe (usually a favorite)- so skip those, but we did like the beef short plate. 2 cons: (1) for an AYCE meal that costs $100+ after tax/tip for 2, I was disappointed that they limited the amount of wagyu orders. I understand capping the amount of wagyu per round, but only 1 order the entire meal? Disappointing! (2) the restaurant completely lost power and unfortunately we weren't able to finish our meal. On top of that, there wasn't reliable cellular signal, so electronic payment was very difficult. Really disappointing that an AYCE meal was cut short =( Would easily be a 5 star review if not for the 2 issues listed above.

Decent AYCE hot pot, although the value is questionable compared to competitors. $29/adult for weekday AYCE; premium meat is $36/adult. Sauce bar/soft drinks are an extra $2 per person. The premium meat comes with a one serving limit for the top desired meats, which eliminates its value... and the basic meats are HORRIBLE quality (very tough, bland). I enjoyed the vegetable bar and found most of my go to's, although some people missed some favorites (ex: bok choy). The spicy broth was okay, but I didn't enjoy some of the spices added to it that overpowered its overall flavor. I found myself dipping into my sauce more than I would with a good broth. The mild "original" broth was bland and should be skipped. Service was very attentive. Some of the menu options were unique (ex: "crunchy crouton"), although it wouldn't be enough to bring me back personally. In the end, it was just under $100 after tip/tax for two people. For that price, I would rather go down the street for a high quality hot pot experience.

The sour cabbage soup is so good! It has a nice spice. The original soup is good too! The staff gave us a cute balloon because we saw a little kiddo have it and asked LOL The fried food station had this really good chicken. The ice cream is more frosty icy but still a nice little dessert. Plenty of veggies and different toppings. They have a sauce and soda area but charge 1.99 per person who uses that. Their meat is delicious! Staff are always nice and pleasant.

This is my first time going to Happy Lamb. The place was packed. I went on a Saturday night. There was a bit of a wait to get a table. My group and I got the premium AYCE option. It was priced reasonably. The broth was decent. The meats were okay. Getting additional rounds in was hard with the staff being busy. Drinks and sauce access is an additional costs The restrooms were not that clean. Parking is abundant.

First time at this location, it's been over 10 years since I've had this chain of hotpot in Union City. Back then we ordered by plates only. Now it's ayce with choices of hot and cold foods up front, ready for you. There are 3 tiers and us gals chose the lowest tier, which turned out to be great and very filling. Even after we paid, we sat for an hour just jabbing away. It was truly quality time. Don't forget to try their ice cream, it was delicious and different!

Review #875 Posted on 4.21.25 We came to Happy Lamb Hot Pot on Friday the 18th. This is an all you can eat style hot pot spot. They've got a few stations with veggies you can pick to cook, also pork, pork belly, shrimp, fish balls, etc. It's smart when you think about it, then you order less meat from the kitchen. The menu for the choice you pay per person has a few options. Basically the highest option you can get the Wagyu style meats, and a few other lamb, seafood items too. You still get access to the other items on the list below that option as well. Broths have about 5 choices, my guess most people get 1 spicy, 1 non spicy. Food was good, and they're pretty on top of checking on you so you can order more meat when needed.

I've tried a lot of hot pot places, and this one really stands out. The option to have two broths side by side is a game changer--especially if you love spicy broth. I actually came here when I was feeling under the weather, and it completely cleared my sinuses out (in the best way ). The selection of sides is great: tons of fresh veggies, savory bites like spring rolls, noodles, and even sesame balls. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The meat is super fresh, and the lamb is definitely my favorite--perfect texture and flavor every time. They also offer ice cream, fruit, and cake for dessert, which is perfect if you're like me and need something sweet after a savory meal. Service has always been excellent. Even on busy nights, we've been seated quickly and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. Big plus: there's plenty of parking at this location. The location is big inside, clean and I like the seating area

Any kind of broth is perfect for a chilly day or evening. Especially with a choice of mild or spicy or even both. My friends took me here and had was my first time. So many choices to choose from. Got to try a bit of this and that. Their broths are tasty and flavorful. Vegetables were pretty fresh. The service wasn't too bad. They were friendly. We received our orders in a timely manner. Cold night satisfaction!

Happy Lamb, formerly known as Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is definitely my go-to spot for AYCE Chinese hot pot! They've done a little remodel since the last time I came to this Dublin location, as all the vegetables and noodles are now in a self-serve bar and you just order the meats with the waiter, which I thought sped up service so much more. My friends and I chose the Classic menu where we got to choose from selections of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken. I always think the lamb options are the best. I also loved that by adding $1.99, you got access to their sauce bar as well as ice cream for dessert which is such a steal! Since the weather is getting colder, hot pot is the perfect solution!

For anyone coming, the parking can be really bad as it shares probably 20 or so spots with several other restaurants. It's near impossible to park nearby with the alternative of parking near the Panera's or even the target. There's plenty of tables and seats inside, and it was pretty slow when we dined in. Convenient televisions on two different sides where all the workers were casually watching, and quite the chatter in the kitchen where they're all watching the World Cup. That doesn't really affect service however as they're quite attentive when called for. We ordered the salted fish and chicken fried rice, and the medium bbq platter with char sound soy sauce chicken. All very delicious! The only thing is that they can bit on the pricier side with $20 for the fried rice and $30 for the bbq plate. Overall, I thought grand cafe definitely scratched our itch for Cantonese style dining experience. It typically comes with great food, good service, and a bit of nostalgia from being from the Bay Area.

My brother and I met a few friends here for dinner on 11/28/2025. At around 7:15pm, the place was completely full. Fortunately, our friends arrived a little earlier and secured a table. The interior was clean. A couple TVs on the walls were showing different sporting and news programs. Their menu featured a wide array of non-Americanized Cantonese fare. We decided to do family style and got half a dozen dishes to share. They were: Beef Filet with Mixed Mushrooms, 1lb of BBQ Pork, Fujian Fried Rice, Beef Chow Fun with Gravy, House Pan Fried Noodles, and Salted Pork Bone and Peanut Porridge. Our food arrived in about 15 minutes. Overall, I was impressed by quality and authenticity. Despite the slightly higher price point comparing to other similar restaurants, they didn't skimp on anything. The rice and noodle dishes were loaded with delicious toppings, and the taste was on point. The BBQ pork and the beef filet dish were both fantastic. The meat/fat ratio of the BBQ pork was just right, and the beef filet cubes were tender and flavorful. The porridge was just okay. My mom's version still reigns supreme. Service we received was very good. Our server was very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions. She did forget our iced water, but I am willing to overlook that. I got a chance the chat with staff before we left, they were all very genuine and friendly people. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience here. The food was authentic and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you want authentic Cantonese food but don't want to pay the super premium price, this is definitely a good option for you. I will return. 4 solid stars.

Unfortunately, my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill, the prices have become excessive, and what bothered me most was feeling misled by the billing. On top of that, an automatic gratuity was added to a table of only three people with one of them being 4 year old. She barely even ate with tea price per person. I don't mind paying premium prices for great food and service, but I do expect transparency. Seeing CA Noodle show up on our yelp search and it was nearby, we decided to check it out. The location is pretty convenient, located in a plaza that shares parking spaces with several other restaurants and a McDonald's. The inside only seats about 10-14 parties of 2-4, so a pretty small restaurant. They had 2 waiters staffing the entire restaurant, but the menu and ordering system is all done through a POS via QR code. The menu was quite large, offering no many choices like pot stickers, noodle soups, chow mein, and little appetizers like pig ears. We ended up ordering the pig ears, pot stickers, pork pan fried bun, and 2 noodle soups. The good: pig ears. The pig ears were cut in various sizes and the flavor was spicy. Definitely to our liking! The neutral: the pork hamburger item and pot stickers. While the bun was tasty and crispy, the mean in between was a bit dry and the taste was a bit mild and less salty. We made it better by adding pig ears with every bite lol. The pot stickers were fine but it didn't really give a crispy bottom taste and more of dry pan sear. It definitely needed sauce as the filling was a bit mild too (very consistent mild tastings after the pig ears. The bad: the soup dishes that we ordered were definitely needing a flavor bomb. While the noodles we ordered were great and had a ton of chew and the protein in the dish was plenty; the soup lacked in taste. My girlfriend had to ask for additional salt to add to taste and it made it so much better. I ate mine as intended and I wasn't as satisfied as compared to if I were to eat at ox9 or muragame. Overall, I thought our meal was about a 3.5. While we enjoyed watching the World Cup while eating our food, the taste of our food was much more desired and it didn't scratch our itch for a rich soup. Unfortunately, many of the other patrons seemed to catch on and order the chow mein instead. If we come back, it's probably what we would order next. Until next time!

A few minutes later they called back to ask if I wanted bone in or boneless. I told them bone in was fine, I just didn't want the skin. When I got home and ate it, the food was okay overall. The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too. It came with cucumbers, quail eggs, and fungus. I ate everything except the fungus. It had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't get into. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Hainan chicken elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the siu mai, bean curd rolls with shrimp, pork, and mushrooms, pan-fried chive and shrimp dumplings, roasted duck, and salt-and-pepper squid. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The standouts for me were the crispy salt-and-pepper squid, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the roasted duck with its crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. The pan-fried dumplings had a wonderful texture with a flavorful filling, while the bean curd rolls were packed with savory goodness. The siu mai were plump, fresh, and exactly what you'd hope for from a quality dim sum restaurant. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded expectations. Everything we tried was delicious, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone craving quality dim sum in the Dublin area.
