Came here a year ago for the first time, and came back again. The food and ambiance is still great…read more This time I ordered a hot stone bowl with marinated pork. I was happy to see all the veggies with it too. It's so tasty. I was trying not to eat much rice, but the purple rice that becomes crunchy on the bottom was so irresistible. My husband ordered the beef bulgogi with the bowl and loved it too. We ordered the crab corn Rangoon and this was slightly different than the traditional and it was so good with the corn. This place was quite busy this time. The two servers took care of everyone as best and smoothly as they can. At times it took a while so just keep that in mind if you are in a time crunch. I do think it's worth it.

Nothing great or authentic about much of the menu Service: Young waitress that was fairly conversed on the menu but really needed mentoring and no manager was in site. For example, brought us a beer and the serving glass was chipped (noticed after the beer was poured). Instead of offering a new beer she said "this happens once in awhile and brought a new glass but ignored the obvious issue. On another front : They had 2 beer choices and she said one was dark but when it came it was just a regular lager in a green bottle(hence the dark). This is not her fault it's inattentive management. Atmosphere: Modern and sparse and pretty dirty. Tables were not properly cleaned and the menus were sticky. Price/Value: Average pricing for what was offered but not a great value. They also charge a 3% credit card fee (absolute nonsense). Will not be going back.

Lotte Plaza Market is not your typical supermarket--it's an entire experience. From the moment you…read morepull in, one thing becomes clear: this place operates on a completely different scale. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.

There's a huge selection of food and everything we've tried has been really flavorful and fresh. One of my favorite things is being able to try different meats and sides without feeling limited. Some places have the better ingredients out during dinner only or on weekends. Volcano has high quality ingredients out all the time. They have a HUGE seafood selection - I was in heaven. Crab legs, scallops, 2 types of clams, shrimp, mussels, etc. Many choices. They also have a wide selection of hot pot meats - pork belly, lamb, different grades of beef. Many veggie selections (napa cabbage, different types of mushrooms, sweet potato), as well as lobster balls, fish balls, quail eggs, etc. We opted for the Hot Pot, Korean BBQ Combo. It's only $5 or $6 more and you can do both Hot Pot and BBQ. If you're new to this concept, they'll explain it all to you and help :) The grill, at your table is really nice. They had many marinated meats to select from at the food bar. Also large selection of sauces and a visual guide on how to make certain sauce combinations. Our favorite meats were the chicken and bulogi. The food bar area was spotless and well stocked. If you have any room left after all that food, they do have fresh fruit and ice cream options also. They serve alcohol, specialty cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks. I believe this was around $37 per person for the combo option. We'll definitely go back again. Just go hungry! Tables are limited to 90 minutes and they will charge you for food waste if you get a lot and don't eat it. We didn't have any issues with that, but just FYI - they have signs posted at each table.
