The food was fresh and delicious! We got an array of food and appetizers. This was our first visit and tried the beef ribeye and meatball pho, spicy house noodles, bbq pork bánh mì, both protein options of egg rolls (vegetarian was very very good), and the fried wontons! This new restaurant seems to have replaced its predecessor Noma and honestly has an almost identical vibe/menu. I loved Noma and I now love this place too! I am a big fan of healthier "fast-casual" options and this is exactly that. For anyone that likes Vietnamese or Thai food this, is the grab and go option. We were in and out after ordering, eating, and enjoying in about 20 minutes, which makes it perfect for lunch breaks. My husband ordered the chicken red curry and was so pleased with the flavors he said it tied for best in Greensboro. I ordered the tofu banh mi and veggie fried spring rolls, both were exactly what I wanted and delicious. One of our favorite parts is the spice/topping spread that is self-serve. Coming from Washington DC with a huge Vietnamese community and growing up with lots of Vietnamese friends, we have been looking for a good place and kept finding "okay" places until we found Bao Bao. This is legit fresh and good Vietnamese food especially for the special vegetarian and vegan peeps in your squad. The Pho is good but the vegan Pho is really good for vegan pho. If you've had both meat and non, you know how hard it is to find good vegetarian or vegan pho but these folks do it right. Awesome tofu Banh mi both regular and curry. They get the bread right and that's the key to a great banh mi. The fresh rolls are always made right in front of you like everything on the menu. We love the avocado fresh rolls. I eat meat but I go full veggie when we eat here with no regrets! Prepacked sauces and goodies to go just make it better. Do yourself a favor and try it this place. You won't regret it! read more

We went around 3pm and were the only ones there. After trying the food, I don't understand how that place is EVER empty. We ordered about 5-6 items and everything was deliciously mouthwatering!!! They do however need to get rid of the flowers outside, as they attract bees and we ended up getting swarmed by them and had to rush to the car :( the service could also be better since the girl at the front is very awkward, so it makes the ordering experience uncomfortable BUT the food is worth going(if you sit inside or take out). read more

I was craving spring rolls and Thai tea and bao bao kitchen was the one closest to me, so I decided to try it. instant regret, well the wait time was so long over 20 mins, my Thai tea was watery with undone boba. the springs rolls were good! Only to find out I got severe food poisoning instantly.. I didn't like I had to ask them to remake my Thai tea bc I was already waiting so long.. everything should've been good to go and perfect! read more

First impressions were not good, starting with the Tik Tok make-up girl with 2-inch fingernails who ignored me and avoided eye contact. The food was just not good, in fact, it was awful. I don't know how you can mess up Pad Thai, but they managed to do so - the sauce was a nasty, tangy sour flavor that ruined the dish. The Mixed Vegetable Stir Try with chicken was not stir fry - it was fried rice with 4 thin slices of chicken, some corn kernels and spring onion, no vegetables. BaoBao Kitchen served one of the best beef pho I've tasted. The broth was rich with depth of flavor. The beef was tender and juicy. I just wish there were more beef in the soup. Since I ordered pho to go, the rices noodles and accompaniments were packed separately from the broth, which allowed the noodles to remain firm and avoid sogginess. I will definitely swing by this spot the next time I'm in Greensboro. read more

I had been wanting to try Banh Mi and boba from here for a month, so I finally stopped by a couple days ago. I ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi, fresh chicken spring rolls, and Jasmine Milk Tea with boba.The food was wonderful. The spring rolls were my favorite thing I ordered; they're so fresh and the peanut sauce really added to the flavor. I never had peanut sauce before trying it here and now I love it. The BBQ Pork had a little fat on it which made me sandwich juicier; it was just wonderful. I'm definitely resisting spending my money here almost everyday. read more

I've frequented this place enough times to say with certainty that it's a very huge waste of money for a subpar product. When you buy the pho with an added meat option you spend more money for a scrap of beef that can't even find in your bowl. The vegetables are cut in a way that they leave in the throw away parts into the food where you end up eating a root of spring onion. It's average, it's is poorly prepared, they're stingy with the meat, and it's overpriced and not worth for what you're paying for. There's plenty of Vietnamese food places on West Market St that cost less and are much better. read more
