Stayed in Jackson during a trip to the Tetons and was pleasantly surprised to find a Korean restaurant! Having grown up in Southern California, I've had my share of Korean food and have to say I was impressed that the lone Korean restaurant in a town could be this good. Our group of 4 had the Jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup), LA galbi, and Sundubu (tofu soup). Ordering was easy: we drove up, ordered, and they brought it to our car in 20 min. Jjampong tastes great and Bapp does not skimp on the seafood. I counted 3 mussels, 2 clams, squid, and 5 medium shrimp. LA Galbi was flavorful and tender. We easily split it between 3 of us. I really wanted to like this place as a Korean-American wanting to support a korean restaurant in Jackson,WY. (I'm assuming it's the only korean restaurant in Jackson) But the food and the service is piss poor. I want to start with the service. They only have the drive thru window open because of COVID-19. We arrived for lunch and walked up to the window. An Asian guy is taking our order and starts to speak condescending to my mother in law during our 2nd order. I get that she was asking weird questions like, what kind of fries do you have? But that doesn't mean you can give her a dumb look and slowly reply, "they're just regular fries". This guy lacked professionalism and basic courtesy for someone who works in the service industry. I tried to make some small talk with the guy before that whole situation went down and asked if he was Korean, which he is not. He is Filipino. I gave the guy a pretty large tip considering we aren't being served in the dining room. You could say it was close to 20%. I thought it would buy me some comradeship. I had to use the restroom but we were stuck outside sitting at a table in the parking lot. When he came to deliver us the food in to-go containers, I asked if it was okay to use the restroom( they leave a door wide open so they can walk in and out to drop off people's food). He said,"Naw, you gotta walk a couple blocks to the gas station." I was livid. This experience still pisses me off thinking about it. I understand the reason for closing the dining area but come on dude I just hooked you up with a fat tip and I just need to use the restroom for 2 minutes. UNREAL. Moving onto the food. It's not cheap. What you get from what you paid is disappointing. Portions are small and the flavors aren't "Korean". It would be in your best interest to avoid the Kimbap triangles. It's just one baseball sized triangle shaped seaweed wrap stuffed with I have no idea. Just nothing about it even remotely whispered Korean to me. read more

Really solid Korean food in Jackson, WY. Was a pleasant surprise staying at the Modern Mountain to see a Korean restaurant so close. Ordered the Galbi dinner and it did not disappoint. They give you 4 slabs (3 pieces per) of LA style galbi with purple rice, salad and 4 banchan sides (they gave me kimchi - good, radish - good, broccoli - good and cucumber - pretty good). The salad had a nice citrusy vinegar based flavor while the purple rice was a good compliment with the meat. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the space is very relaxing and inviting for a large group of friends or family. Overall a welcome experience to get good Korean. read more

I was so excited when I drove by and saw a sign that they had boba. They have a drive thru window which is really convenient and a few small tables to eat outside. We ordered the la style galbi ($27) which came with sides and the spicy pork bibimbap, shrimp jeon ($7.75) and regular milk tea ($5.66) . It's a bit on the pricey side for what we got, galbi meat was a bit overcooked and dry. The portion of the jeon is really small and the pearls in the milk tea were rock hard but overall not too bad. read more

Me and my partner went here out first night in Jackson. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was larger in portion than I expected, and I ain't gonna complain about that. The food was also very tasty and filling. Will most definitely be back!!! read more

I would never come here again. We went through the drive thru and the prices are manipulating. On the lunch menu written in black it says Monday-Friday 11am-8pm but those are the hours the restaurant is open . You can order off that menu after lunch time but the prices are more. We waited an hour in the parking lot for our food . The food was okay but overall this place is disappointing. read more

I took my girlfriend here for boba and it was just ok. The boba is a little watery imo. However, can't say much about the food since we did not eat here. We are from San Diego where they have a lot of good boba spot so comparing it wouldn't be fair. read more

I've eaten a lot of Korean food before (in both S. Korea & USA) and I can safely say that this was the worst I have ever tried. Very friendly service. I had No. 3 bibimbap with spicy pork. No. 3 is fresh lettuce, avocado, and cabbage rather than the sautéed veggies in regular bibimbap. It was a great post bike ride meal! I won't hesitate to return here the next time I'm in town. read more

So happy to have found this place. I was visiting Jackson for a week and thought there wouldn't be too many Asian restaurants around. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I got a bulgogi bimbim bapp. That tasted great and I would order that again. My boyfriend got a seafood udon soup. The flavors of both of the dishes were delicious. The only con was that the udon did not come with that much udon. it was mostly broth and seafood and very few udon noodles. Other than that, the food was fine. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. would go here again if I ever go back to Jackson. read more

Bapp is sooo good! This is my bf's and my go to take out place! I had not had Korean food before Bapp, but he has, and says it's the best he's had. I'm pretty loyal to the bimibapp but he gets their other dishes and enjoys them too! Love the drive through option. I crave Bapp regularly. Additional plus, the name is so fun to say, BAPP! One of the best meals I've ever eaten! The food was fresh, gorgeous, and incredibly delicious. I can't say too much about the food - it was truly an experience. A good value for the time and love put into each dish. The owner is friendly, warm and awesome. We would have driven 2 hours round trip to go back the next night too, but they were closed on Thursdays. I really enjoyed food. The tofu was seasoned nicely and fried really well. I got a side of kimchi as well, and that was probably my favorite kimchi by far. It also came with a fried egg that was cooked over med. The food came out in a timely manner and packaged nicely. 10/10 would go back and eat there again. read more

We were staying at the Mountain Modern Motel right next door so we got takeout from here. It was super easy to order online and our food was ready on time. And I really appreciated that they took note of my special request on the order even though they were so busy! The food was great, we both got the bimbImbap which was a very very generous serving size. However, as they were so busy when we went to go pick up our food there was no staff around to let them know we were here to pick up. There was just a crowd of people all confused on how to get a table with no one in sight to provide guidance. We experienced this a few times in Jackson, so I assume there is a staffing issue as with many other cities. Totally understandable, but definitely some signage could help with the confusion when the staff is busy. If you aren't up for a long wait, I'd recommend ordering online! read more

Nice casual place with tasty Korean food. Had the Bibimbapp which, if you don't know, is kind of a large rice bowl with various toppings. Always some pickled vegetables, steamed vegetables and a soft poached egg, and can add other protein. I added beef which was delicious (not surprising given Korean bbq fare that I've had before). The entire bowl was great though may be salty for some diners. As a Japanese American I was used to the high salt content in my dish, but may put some people off. Bapp also has a wide assortment of cocktails made with Soju which is a fortified Korean rice wine. I tried one and honestly would have preferred the original spirit!
