    Lychee martini

We needed a spot to get a drink and a bite before an evening event around the corner, and this spot was almost perfect! The burrata and grilled squash were delicious with the latter firm enough and thin enough to be the vehicle for the cheese. The Lychee Martini was incredibly smooth and not too sweet. The wait staff is attentive and suggested the burrata- excellent advice. The downside? Although the outdoor seating has a cover and is spacious, the chair with its back to the restaurant is precariously near the lip of the outdoor seating deck. One small seat adjustment and I would be on my back in the street. With that observation, pushing the table back a bit was a suitable remedy. I will definitely be back for another pre-evening taste or a full meal.

My friend and I wanted a place for dinner in midtown East and we decided to come here. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is pretty spacious and the staff were very friendly. The menu was not huge but there is a good amount of pasta, pizza and sandwich options. We got the calamari which was delicious - we wished it came with marinara sauce but it just came with tartar sauce. My friend got the pesto pasta which she said was decent. I got the pasta carbonara- it was alright - slightly too heavy and salty. Overall not a bad restaurant, slightly on the more expensive side but I have definitely had better Italian food.

We decided to stop by Bar Italia on a whim because we wanted to grab a drink outside. They have a nice covered outdoor dining area and we were promptly seated. We ended up ordering a margherita pizza to split as well and it was solid! Nothing special, but the tasty, thin crust, cheese pizza hit the spot. Not sure we'd come out of our way to dine here again but it was good for a quick bite and a few drinks!

Cute Italian restaurant in the upper east side. Pastas were reasonably priced for the area. I got the orcchiette which was the highlight of the meal. The onto disappointing item was the steak. We ordered a medium temperature but it came out nearly well done. It was tough to chew and cost $72. The drinks - Il verde and the espresso martini were tasty. What made the place special was the cozy vibe. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The chef even came out to ask how everything was. I'd come back for more pasta but probably avoid the steak.

Wonderful dining experience with lovely Italian cuisine!! We were welcomed in by such friendly staff who took great care of us during our lunch! The gnocchi was pillowy and melted in your mouth and was to die for with the gooey cheese sauce! Would def come here again. Very classy and elegant decor and ambiance.

Started off with the Bellini which I ended up having three of yummy. Spaghetti Carbonara my mom loved and my daughter loved the Penne Bolognese. I had the daily special with black pasta and shrimp. Great service, friendly and attentive. Quality of food is excellent so worth the price they charge. Enjoyed the opportunity to chat with owners as they made us feel at home. Looking forward to going back again.

The food was excellent, and the service matched it. A cozy restaurant on the Upper East Side.

It's almost impossible for me to ever be happy with Italian food outside of Italy or home. WELL, Ci Siamo proved me WRONG and I'm so happy they did. We came here for a pre concert dinn dinn. Initially I thought we'd just get some drinks and apps and keep it moving. The dishes were jaw dropping and served with the prettiest details. We ordered the tagliatelle al sugo, orechiette with ramps, pistachio and pecorino and the snap peas with bulgur, asparagus and sunflour seeds. WOW WOW WOW The sugo was uncomplicatedly made come lo fa tua nonna. None of the heavy Italian American traditions. All so delicious adding their own twist. The orecchiette was such a creative dish but also so bright, colorful and so many different textures and flavors that to perfectly together. Portions were perfectly sized and we got to share and try everything. If we would've ordered apps it would've been too much. Got the Ci siamo martini (botanical to the core just how I like it!) and a rotating mezcal with aperol drink. Overall great place to dine in or come out with your friends. Be sure to make a resy!

I only had a late lunch because I wasn't super hungry, but what I had was pretty tasty. Honestly, I was inspired to write this review for the salad lol. The INSALATA VERDE, was freaking incredible. UGH. So fresh and the flavors were perfect. I also got a pasta, CAVATELLI ALLO SCOGLIO, but sadly wasn't that into it. All of the flavors were good, I just think it didn't come together in a way that my taste buds enjoyed lol. But I can't say it was nasty, just not my vibe. Overall was a great visit, and a great location for a cute lunch in the city, especially if you're near the highline! Oh! And I can't forget the cute little welcome wine that they have in the elevator. It's only on the second floor, but it was a nice experience.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city!…read more L'Artusi is such a hard res to get, and I completely understand why! Everything was phenomenal. The ambiance is upscale and so chic. Service was friendly and efficient! Apps: Roasted Mushrooms and Burrata Crostone - Both were beyond flavorful and delicious, but the mushrooms are a must order! They're so savory with a hint of spice and richness from the runny egg. 10/10! Mains: Garganelli, Cacio E Pepe, Roasted Carrots - all three of these dishes were incredible. The Garganelli had a rich mushroom ragu and the Cacio was perfectly rich and creamy. The carrots were a sleeper hit- the za'atar and pistachio put it over the top! Dessert: Olive Oil Cake - light and not too sweet. The fresh crème mousse was delightful. Overall, I loved my meal at L'Artusi! Can't wait to come back!

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. Honorable mention to the spaghetti that my friend had at her last visit. She said it was fresh and delicious but almost too rich which she mostly owned to it being a white sauce.
