Taylor's Tayke: Da Andrea is a great option for Italian dining in Chelsea, with a warm atmosphere that works perfectly for date night or dinner with friends. The menu has plenty of variety across pastas, seafood, and cocktails, with some unique dishes that made the experience memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the seafood options stood out the most for me. My Tipsy Tayke: The Fragola Fizz was juicy, fruity, and refreshing. The Forever Summer was another standout, with the smokiness of the mezcal blending really well with the fruit flavors without overpowering them. Both are easy recommendations depending on whether you want something fruity or a little more complex. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Seafood Ravioli Unique, flavorful, and packed with different seafood flavors. The ravioli itself was delicate and had a tendency to fall apart, but the flavor made up for it. Standout: Calamari Crispy, seasoned, and enjoyable. It had a slightly chewy texture, but I still found myself going back for more. The Carpaccio wasn't necessarily for me texture-wise, but I really enjoyed the greens and dressing that accompanied it. The garnish felt intentional and helped bring the dish together. The Pappardelle came with plenty of sauce but could have used more flavor overall. The complimentary bread was also tougher and chewier than I prefer. Desserts: The Lemon Sorbet was easily my favorite dessert. Bright, refreshing, and packed with real lemon flavor. The Mango Sorbet was another refreshing option with a smooth tropical sweetness. The Panna Cotta Cheesecake leaned closer to a mousse in texture and was definitely on the sweeter side. I especially enjoyed it with the cherry, which helped balance everything out. Service: Warm and attentive throughout the meal, fitting the inviting atmosphere. Plates From My Visit: Calamari Carpaccio Seafood Ravioli Pappardelle Lemon Sorbet Mango Sorbet Panna Cotta Cheesecake Fragola Fizz Forever Summer In Conclusion: A warm Chelsea Italian spot with strong cocktails, unique seafood dishes, and refreshing desserts. The Seafood Ravioli was the highlight of the savory side, but whatever you do, save room for that Lemon Sorbet. Stamped by Elajas

Da Andrea was a decent dinner spot, but it didn't really stand out to me. We sat outside, which made for a nice atmosphere. I ordered the RAVIOLI DI CROSTACEI and tiramisu. Both were good, but neither was particularly memorable. My friend ordered the carbonara and didn't end up finishing it. Overall, nothing was bad, but nothing made me want to come back either. If I'm in the area catching up with a friend and this is where they want to go, I'd happily join them. Otherwise, there are other Italian restaurants I'd choose first.

Such a great place for a big group celebration. The service is awesome. The food was delicious. Everyone was served at the same time. And we don't feel too full to go dancing after. Julio made our night great

I came here with a huge group for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time. We had a prefixed menu but everything was amazing. The drinks were constantly flowing as we ordered them, the food was on time and delicious, and overall we had such an amazing time. 10/10 would recommend, our server Julio was great and I can't wait to come back here!

This is easily a 5 star review. The service and atmosphere are 10/10. We were lucky enough to get a table next to a window and the restaurant was decorated for Christmas. Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

I'm a bit confused as to why Da Andrea has such a high rating on Yelp. I chose this place because they had reservation availability and could accommodate our large party. The restaurant was relatively spacious for Manhattan, with dim lighting and a beautiful floral exterior. They also had a great-looking antique bar. For drinks, I ordered the watermelon mocktail, but really was not a fan. I ended up swapping with my partner and drinking his non-alc beer instead. For starters, we shared the Insalata Di Caesar. This was a pretty mediocre Caesar salad, but got the job done. For entrees, most of us ordered pasta dishes but none of them were stellar. My Ravioli Di Crostacei was pretty bland and my partner's Spaghetti Bolognese just tasted like the pasta you could make at home. Service was friendly and they managed our large table well, but overall, I wasn't thrilled with Da Andrea.

Really good food all around, we tried the octopus salad app which was incredible (top 3 octopus dishes I've ever had), then I think the other two were specials - diver scallops with risotto, and a truffle ravioli dish, both of which were very very good. Service was also pretty good despite being absolutely packed (it was Valentine's Day). That said, the space was a little cramped but the lighting and ambiance were still very nice. I would definitely recommend trying this as an upscale Italian spot. Considering the price point, I wouldn't say it's anything mind blowing, and I won't prioritize returning considering how many other great restaurants there are to try, but it's absolutely worth going.

Cornish Game Hen was a delicious treat.

Great choice for dinner in Chelsea. Found it on yelp and this was great find. The decor of the room was very vintage great setting for a date night. But that was part of the issue. It wasn't a date night for us. It was a work dinner and the room was very dimly lit. However, the food and the service made up for it. We went with the lamb shank and the Cornish game Henn as well as a couple salads. Everything was on point. Cooked perfectly and presented well. Would definitely like to come back and try the pastas and some of the other items on the menu. But everything around me look delicious. Looking forward to coming back and also trying some of the desserts.

Food was fantastic and came out quickly ! The pasta was SO fresh. Service was very prompt and friendly. Theres plenty of seating inside and it's very nice inside. We sat in the patio which is also well covered and plentiful seating, and has great decor !

It was date night on a rainy Monday and Da Andrea was recommended to me by someone whose taste in Italian I have great faith in. We arrived in the early evening and were immediately seated at a corner table near the window. Anna, our ever attentive waitress, was able to go through the specials of the day and walk us through her favorite items. We ended up with three pasta dishes - two of them paired with fresh truffles that had arrived from Italy that morning - and finished off with a wonderful affogato (decaf espresso is an option!). We would've returned to try their ribeye as it isn't but had to catch our early flight home. Thanks again for having us, Anna & Da Andrea! We hope to visit soon in the near future. 10/10 - would recommend.

The BEST pasta!! Everything we got was wiped clean off the plate. I really enjoyed my risotto of the day with saffron, scallops and Parmesan cheese. Who knew something so simple could taste so good? Other than the pasta, we also really enjoyed the tuna tartare, tiramisu, and chocolate cake. Service was quick and they even threw in a a complimentary dessert for us!

This was our first time visiting this location and it did not disappoint! We have been to the Greenwich Village location multiple times, so we were excited to give Chelsea a go. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, very moody and swanky. Be careful as you descend the stairs to use the restroom, they are very angled and steep. Our server was pleasant enough, and brought us more bread when requested. But the real star is the food. Everything we tried was fantastic - seafood ravioli, spaghetti bolognese and the special of the evening, lobster ravioli. The pasta is cooked perfectly and all the sauces are so delicious. We love Da Andrea and can't wait to go back.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer.
