Came I for brunch and it was nice! I loved the atmosphere! I had a Grilled chicken Caesar salad and it was yummy!! The dressing was so good and the grilled lemon was even better. I also ordered their double mimosa which was good as well. I just wish their orange juice didn't have pulp. I always enjoyed Bar Louie in Chicago's Wrigleyville -- so I was excited to see a location open in La Centerra. On a whim, we stopped in for a Sunday dinner. "Pub trivia" was happening so we joined in the competition -- albeit too late to really win -- but it was super fun. Amber and Brittany are excellent servers. Very friendly and made sure we were taken care of with food and cocktails. The Salmon Sliders and BLT Wedge Salad are excellent, and generous portion for a meal on their own, but we also ordered some appetizers. I'll need to give the cocktails a second chance. My Pineapple Express Sangria was inconsistent each time it was ordered. Too much Prosecco, NO Prosecco...?!?! The Spicy Pineapple Margarita and cold draft beer were a hit. We also ended up making friends with some of the other groups that were competing in (and winning!) in the pub trivia. Definitely would come back and bring some more friends with us. read more

If I could give this place zero stars. I would. Hubby and I walked in and the little brunette bar tender working Saturday night June 27 at 12:00 had the worst worst attitude. It was our first time there and last. Last time I checked Bar Louise doesn't pay me to go there. We walked out and went right down the side walk to Bakers Street. Where we always get fantastic service and the staff is so friendly .. Also World of Beers is across the street. We will take our business elsewhere. There are too many other places to go than to have to put up with nasty attitude. read more

Sadly, I am not reviewing this place based on their food and drinks but mostly on service. As soon as we sat down on their outdoor section, we waited for 20 minutes before we realized we were not going to be waited. We had to personally ask them not once, but TWICE for someone to serve us. This was truly surprising since it was not busy at all. Once one of the waiters finally got to us, she asked us what we'll have but we told her we never got any menus. The lady herself was kind about it and brought menus to us and then left to leave us with more time to think, however, we ended up waiting for 10 more minutes before deciding to leave. From what we experienced, this place looks horribly managed. The style and decor is nice and I'm sure the food is above par but restaurant quality is all about its excellent service and Bar Louie does not have that sadly. read more

I walked in. Not a super busy bar too, but sat down. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for someone to come by. About 5 minutes or so. Finally, the bartender came around and didn't even acknowledge me. I tried to say excuse me but he rushed off. On 7/19/19 I called bar Louie at 10:42pm to place a to go order. They said the good would be ready in 15 minutes and to pick it up at the bar. I went to the bar around 11pm and sat there for 15 minutes trying to get someone to help me. There was a blonde bartender with a pointy tail who saw me raise my hand at her but she did not help. Finally she came to help the people next to me and I got her attention. She was drunk. I told her I had a to go order so she said she has to check with the waiter who took it. She never came back. Another blonde girl can by so I stopped her and was drunk as well and looked extremely lost. She was no help at all. At 11:50. Let me say that again 11:50! Amani came waking by, I stopped her and she IMMEDIATELY went to check for my food unlike the other two. She brought it to me it was ice cold. So she kindly apologized and had them "remake" it. She brought our the food ten minutes later and it felt warm so I took it. I love SEVEN minutes away and the food was cold when I go home. My fiancé who is a chef was able to tell the burger patty had been frozen because of the color it was and hoe it looked. We also figured that rather than making us new food they just reheated it. The only reason I am giving two stars is because amanis service was quick and she was extremely kind. Other than that i was exciting disappointed with the time I had to wait and the quality of the food. If you are going to be a bartender know your drinking limits. I understand people buy you shots but don't act drunk when you're serving. It turns people off and makes us not want to come back. read more

I will never come back. The service is ok, but the food is not good. First, we came during brunch hours, we weren't offered brunch menus, we had to ask for them. The attending waitress was different, she was okay at the beginning and felt a bit of a sassy attitude, but then got better! However, the food was not good! The drinks we ordered, the glasses were dirty and when we told the bartender she didn't even look up to acknowledge that we had a request. Maybe dinner is a different vibe, but avoid brunch! read more

Been here 3x's already. Once on a Friday that was Eh, okay. But the two Saturdays were pretty good. Good food, good service, and the guy who waited on us both times is named Paul. He was very friendly, helped us pick stuff off the menu, gave us suggestions and was just overall a good host. The only complaint I do have is the music that plays. I know its tailored to everyone meaning different types of folks, but we could use some more classics of country, rock, hip-hop, everything. Most of the time its music that i have never heard of. The manager Tyler is why I'm giving this place 5 Stars. He took excellent care of us while we were there, as he was making rounds checking on the guests. As a worker in the industry it's something I always look for while going out to eat and was extremely impressed with his ethic. The food is OK, and I like the location and atmosphere.
