I've been having Amy take care of my brows for over a year now. Previously I would pluck my own and infrequently get a wax. That changed when I decided to try BN on a whim. Bare Necessity was able to take me with 30 min notice, and the service & clean relaxed atmosphere were wonderful. Amy is different, I have never been there and felt like she was rushing. I saw Elaine months ago and keep meaning to write a review. I had a Brazilian plus my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. Being pregnant at the time I was feeling generally uncomfortable and somewhat self-conscious. Elaine was so nice and I felt completely at ease. I've seen a lot of reviews about "low-pain" and "painless" Brazilians. I've been to several aestheticians over the years and will say I've had some Brazilians that were more painful than others; however, I am not convinced the painless version of a Brazilian exists (seems like an oxymoron to me!). That being said, Elaine was quick and it was over before I knew it with as little pain as humanly possible (I mean, hair is being ripped out from the root...so it doesn't exactly feel good). Elaine is the best. I come every 3 weeks to get my brows/upper lip done and she's fast and efficient. Prices are reasonable and if you book your appointment in advance you get a little bit of a discount. I had a Brazilian wax with Aubrey. Very quick and easy, in and out. If your waxers really know what they're doing they're not supposed to take their time and that's exactly what she did. I've been getting waxed for quite some time now and I'm used to the fast pace and the sensitivity of the matter. She even tweezed a few extra hairs afterward. If you're going in for a Brazilian wax you can't be a shy type. If you're shy and uncertain about this- it's not for you. These girls see everything and the more access you can give them, the better your wax will turn out. Aubrey did a really great job and was quick and professional. If you are hesitant about going, or just want someone who really knows what they are doing, look no further.
