My sister and I came here for lunch to use our inKind app. They had great lunch happy hour specials so my tap beer was only $3.50 which was amazing. The service was great and my green goddess burger was amazing. They played a variety of music and the restaurant was very cozy. my only issue was there was no AC on and it was such a hot June day. They had the windows open but they needed the AC going too. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch, especially during the weekdays because it's a cozy restaurant so I know on the weekends it's probably jampacked of people. We haven't tried this Bareburger yet so we decided to go here for lunch. It's smaller than the Forest Hills location but about the same size as the one in Astoria. Inside was your typical Bareburger decor. They told us we could sit either at the booth or table. We grabbed a table and they gave us menus. I ordered the Sweet Bison Blues. My daughter got the special which was a smash burger with fries and my husband got the make your own burger combo and vanilla shake. The food came out pretty quickly. My bison burger was good but if you told me it was beef I would have believed you. It was juicy and cooked well and they were accommodating when I asked for a bed of lettuce instead of a bun. They gave a generous amount of bacon and the cheese went well with the burger. My daughter liked her smash burger. They were also accommodating with her order as she didn't want any vegetables or sauce. My husband also received a generous amount of bacon on his burger. I've been coming here for some time. The service has gone done and so has the quality. I placed an order to go and they charged me extra for two sauces when I placed an order for a large fries. The problem is they never informed me that it was extra, they just tacked it on the bill without mentioning it. If things cost extra then you make that known. I had already paid and they wanted me to pay extra for the sauces after I swiped my card. Doesn't make any sense. I ordered $125 worth of food and you want to swipe my card $1 extra for two sauces. The quality of the ingredient and preparation stood out. Service was on point. The dining area is charming and interesting. With the lemonade I had, the meal (before tip) came in at just under $50. Now that's not very cheap but it's on par with other restaurants that serve similar fare. Metered parking during lunch was easy to find and it was pretty quiet on there when we arrived just after 1pm. Love the kids chicken nugget meal; goes great with their special sauce or bam bam sauce. Ranch tastes homemade too. The best impossible burger I have ever had. I don't eat meat so I always order a meatless patty when I'm in the mood for a burger. Every restaurant has their own version of a veggie burger or meatless patty and some are better than others. My favorite is the impossible patty but most places over cook the patty and it becomes very dry very quickly and I've never had one that tasted seasoned. I ordered the Forager. I subbed the sprout bun for a brioche bun and added pepper jack cheese. This burger has crispy fried onions, wild mushrooms, bbq sauce and arugula. YUM!! It was cooked medium rare (just how a burger should be) and it was so flavorful and juicy. Delicious to say the least. I also had a side of onion rings which were good, perfectly crispy. The food is delicious and always perfectly cooked. However, half the time we order takeout/delivery, they forget something. Tonight it was the sauces. If you're going to charge for each sauce, do not forget to include them. I got all the way home and had to go back to the restaurant, then come back and eat a lukewarm meal. I was ignored by server while deciding where to sit as all of the tables were for more than one person. The lady at the counter was kind enough to hand me the menu after I chose a table. The other server said within earshot that I didn't say a word to him, which I presume should have been my responsibility as a customer, but then offered other seats to the other diners who came after me.
