Always a pleasure coming to this restaurant. Went today with the wife and kids after a long time of unfortunately not being able to go and absolutely loved the meal! My expectations were exceeded and my wife loved it too; she goes to Bareburger often with her book club. Thomas was our server and once again, he was an outstanding help! Second time here. Another great experience. Food is great, love the vast selection of proteins including multiple meatless options. Fries are absolutely perfect - crisp outside and fluffy inside. Even the sweet potato fries which tend to be mushy elsewhere. Manager came around to check on everything and our server, Madison, was wonderful. Great suggestions, friendly, attentive. Overpriced McDonald's maybe ? Let's start with their possibly store bought lemonade that they claim is homemade. Order a second one to see if it would be the same and came not only a different color but a worse taste. Extra charge no less since their are no free refills. Sent my burger back because I asked for no sauce on it and it came on it anyways. Once I received the burger , looked like all they did was replace the bun and plop the onion rings (with sauce on it) right on top of the burger. Opened the burger to verify there was no sauce and still had sauce on the bacon. If this was an allergy concern I would have easily had a reaction due to their poor work ethic and service to provide me a NEW burger due to their mistake. Burger was cold on arrival. Asked for a medium burger and came well done and dry. Food also tastes like heavy oils and like they need to clean their fryer. All in all disappointed. Will not be returning EVER. read more

The burgers are really good here. I ordered the standard with cheddar, sauteed onion on a sprout bun with no side and a yummy lemonade. My companion got the same burger on the brioche bun with a side of onion rings and salad with a glass of beer. For some reason, I got the onion rings on the side. No biggie, we shared them! Both burgers were yummy. the rings were ok but a little too greasy for our taste. I want to try a few different burgers next time but skip the rings. I liked sitting outside and the wait staff was friendly. I have been to the Montclair location many many times! I love it there. Westfield has a different vibe but it is closer to home. We will be back. While this is not an inexpensive dining experience for burgers, we felt it was worth it. We are ok with "not perfect" so we had a great time. I guess I have a different expectation for burger taste and quality. My visiting mother and I both couldn't take more than one bite of our burgers that were delivered-- they were slimy on the outside and flavored with some sort of seasoning that doesn't belong in a burger. The color was grayish and it turned me off. We threw out the whole meal. I'm rereading all of the reviews and I just don't get it.... will not be ordering again. read more

Food was great and came out quick, I got the Supreme Burger with Bison meat hands down best burger I've ever had! We have been to a few other locations and was looking forward to this one. We were seated right away but our server took his time to come by and took our order. The kids order came out quick which was great but our burgers took awhile. It seemed like they were overwhelmed and the service was a bit lacking. We had to ask the manager a few time to get our server so we could get our drinks and ordered more things. But the food is good and we'd be back. I used to eat at the Brooklyn location often and it was a real treat for a burger lover. This was my second time eating in Westfield and I do not think there will be a third. First time was meh, this time it was inedible. It used to be big juicy burger cooked to your taste, now it is it two dry hockey pucks on a bun. That also inexplicably taste like a hotdog. I ate there two hours ago and I still feel a little gross. 2 burgers, two kids hot dogs and tap water set us back over 60 bucks. I am upset we spent so much money on such a horrible meal, a waste of a cheat night and one of the few dinners out we get as a family. There are better burgers in town. read more

Had lunch the other day there with a friend and the meal was very good. The Caesar salad had a bit of a twist by having a fried egg instead of a boiled one. The greens were crisp and the avocado was just right. My friend had the hamburger(1) pattie and the fixings on a brioche roll, which she said was delicious. We shared the sweet potato fries which were just right. Because it was my birthday, I had the carrot cake, which was moist and tasty.
