They took over Termio and they treated a loyal 5 year customer like crap to make money and turn in collections. I was a client of Barefoot for years, I had actually signed on with them when they were Termio. I had to cancel my service because we were moving. At the time we were on the quarterly service so I had it on my calendar when to call them to cancel my service so I wouldn't get charged. Low and behold, they charge my credit card 2 1/2 weeks early and I don't even get as much as a call or email from them notifying me that they were going to do so. I signed on for a quarterly charge. When I called their office and explained to them what had happened all I got was the run around and there was zero accountability. The last person that was supposed to call me was Karen but never heard from her either. At that point I didn't want a full refund, I just wanted a future credit. Can I leave negative stars? If I could, I would. Your first tip off should be that there appears to be no way, at the time of my writing this, to leave a review on Google. Sure, there are a handful of positive google reviews on their website, but you can't actually leave a review now. Do not sign up with these liars. They will tell you anything to get you to sign a contract, then will act like you are the one in the wrong if you try and cancel after being lied to for months. Oh, and you also have to wait for the better part of a day to even speak to someone if you have an issue that needs resolved, yet you can bet your butt that sales will answer right away. I am not even going to get into the fact that I still have bugs in my house after they treated because the billing and customer service is so abysmal. BEWARE after several service calls to treat for mosquitos, 2 while raining, another while snow was on the ground, it became clear their teams and technicians, cared more about money than results. Also rarely did we see the same technician twice. This meant giving our security code to several unknown individuals. The last straw, they are not invoicing for service we DID NOT receive. My attempts to rectify this problem, fell on deaf ears. along with the difficulty in getting a person in change on the phone. Now I know why? I have refused to pay the invoice for service not rendered, now they have turned me over to a collection company. still not paying for something I didn't get. read more

We never contracted with this business. It seems they bought the company we WERE contracted with, and took over our account. Upon seeing this I immediately cancelled - Barefoot has never been on our property, and never rendered any service whatsoever. I have cancellation emails confirming service cancellation. Yet they are still billing us. Calling them leaves you on hold for (checks watch) a minimum of 20 minutes and counting) A cute hold song does nothing for larcenous billing. Horrible service. Asked for rodent exclusion on a vacant rental property June 30. Was alerted July 3 that it would be assessed July7. Asked again July 14. Hearing nothing and getting pestered by the owner, July 17 called the Houston number and spent 20 minutes on hold before being dropped. Called the Dallas number and after a several minute hold spoke with some one who escalated it. Received notification July 17 service completed. After 15 minutes on hold with the Dallas office, spoke with the same agent. Her record showed they treated foundation pests July 13 for $90. Disorganized, under staffed and bureaucratic. Find another company. By the way i run a property management company and used to be one of their larger accounts. read more

Every year my kids complain about not going outside because of the mosquitoes. I decided to reach out to Barefoot a few days ago to ask about mosquito prevention for the season. I have been really happy with my interactions with their customer service team. Ali was friendly, professional and gave me all the info I needed. I appreciated that they place a strong emphasis on natural solutions and safety. Also they didn't force me to sign up for the whole year or pay for more than one service at a time. Best part is after the treatment it smells great, and mosquitoes are GONE. I thought that after a few days they'd be right back but it's been a 2 weeks and I'm still Not seeing any wow! I have a mosquito system I have quit using because of the expense of replacing the tubing, "juice" is expensive and maintenance is expensive.
