WALK IN EXPERIENCE. I went in on a Sunday @11am-ish. I read that they accept walk ins before 12pm. I informed the lady in the front that it was my first time. It appears they had someones son behind the counter playing with a toy. She wrote down my name, my puppy's name, & my phone number. I told her I wanted him to be cleaned up and trimmed. She was so nice, to me, and to my puppy. She told me to give him to her and to come back when she calls. So that's what I did. I was not quoted a price or a time before I left. I didn't mind this because I was in no rush. I did errands, then I got a call about 1.5 hours in and was told he was ready. They messed up on his name and gender when I was called but this has happened before in other places, they think he's a girl and mispronounce his name, I think it could be me and the way I say it but it's okay, I didn't mind. So I go back, walked in, and now there are two ladies in the front. My puppy was also at the front desk, and I'm assuming the little boy behind them is someone's son. The little boy was playing with a toy behind the counter, quietly. I didn't mind but I can see that for some people this can look unprofessional in a work setting. The lady asked right away if I was there for my puppy and proceeded to tell me his name and I said yes. She said that my puppy didn't like the kennel, so they had him in the front with them. I thought that was nice of them to do. They told me it was $40 total. I put a tip on the card. I thought they did a great job. He looks so cute and is so fluffy & smells great! Friendly employees. Great price! Great job! I got him a trim all around; he mainly needed his paws and his private areas done. He also got a nail trim and his teeth brushed. Thank you guys! Note: This was during COVID; in the month of 12/2020, I had a mask on but the ladie(s) at the front desk did not. I also saw that one of the ladies cutting the puppies hair did not have a mask on. The other ladies cutting hair in the back did have their mask on. I only noticed because when I walked away I saw the door was open and was looking to see the others dogs haircuts in there, the dogs looked so cute and calm. I honestly didn't mind it since I had my mask on and have been sanitizing and keeping my distance like the CDC says. Idk if this is a deal breaker to some people or not. read more

WORST PLACE EVER, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. The first time I came here they charged me $65 for my medium sized dog. That was fine. This time they said I had a large dog and that I had to pay $90. I was like that's odd, just two months ago he was a medium but okay whatever. I get back to pick him up and they charged $120!!! $30 extra because they said he was a nervous dog. Double what I was charged the first time!! The communication is awful. I spoke to the manager and I told her that was not okay, I told her I also saw a review that where they did that to someone else and she said I DONT CARE ITS MAKING ME FAMOUS! LOL I also found a large bloody cut on his ear that won't stop bleeding. They cut him and didn't let me know at all. read more

Took my shih-poo in for his first grooming. It was a last minute decision to take him in on a Sunday and they took him in quickly that same day. I was glad they were opened on Sunday since most of the groomers in my area were closed that day. My puppy looked like Chewbacca prior to his groom and came out looking handsome! I have a senior pet that needs to be groomed due to their long hair. Every time I would take him to this place he would shake; I brought him here because it was close by and the prices were reasonable since he just needed to be shaved very short and bathed. One day in the winter I was called to come and see if I can calm him down because he was just not letting himself be groomed. I tried my best, but he was just not having it, so I decided to just bathed him here and take him home, but to my surprise when it was time to wash him the water was sooo cold, I asked the groomer lady to warm the water up a bit but the other lady working there gave her "the look", the lady that was helping me bathe my dog said "ok, let me turn this on and see how much the water can be warned" when I say the water was cold this water was very cold. Mind you that there was maybe three dogs that had gone through the toucher of bathing with the cold water already. To top that off, the fan that was used to dry these poor dogs was not warm either, so these poor dogs got an extremely cold bath and got dried off by blowing cold air to the cage they were in. I haven't been to Brush and pup in months due to this reason. I as a pet parent of a senior dog, thought my boy was going to be well taken care of due to all the positive reviews this place has, I was wrong! on this day I learned why he was always shaking/shivering the several times I took him here. If I could give a zero to how our pets are being bathed at this place, I would! read more

We have brought our dog here several times, the cuts were not even, however we left it but this was the last time. They start making excuses to charge you more... they charged me $85 for my terrier that weighs 15 pounds and said that she is aggressive. ACTUALLY they are aggressive with the dogs. I gave them another chance after seeing one of the workers aggressively hold my dogs face I advised them to relax. Today I officially decided to never come back, they marked my dog and left her red... so much for $85 and her cut is not even. PLEASE DONT GO HERE, they might seem nice at first but are rude once you give them constructive criticism. I dropped off my puppy and got a call at 12:56 P.M that my Finn was ready for pick up. He ended up being $85 but because he was nervous we got charged an extra fee which I understand. The haircut wasn't perfect but I loved it anyway this is his first groom and I think they did an amazing job with his lion cut (plus free bandana woo) lol I don't smell a super strong cologne so either it's very subtle or they don't use any at all.
