By far the best experience at a groomers for my dog Max! I've tried plenty of places in the area and Barking Bubbles goes above and beyond! I knew Max was in good hands immediately by the warm inviting vibes and presentation of owner Jeanette. She is phenomenal, very patient and delightful! She made sure he and I both felt welcomed. The place is very clean and comfy. The light scents of aromatherapy diffusers have you feeling so relaxed. The owner, Jeanette, sat down with us and made sure his haircut was exactly what I wanted and had sample pictures to browse which were so helpful. Just got my dog Chloe back from barking Bubbles spa and it was her first time being groomed there. As a first-timer with this business I have to admit I was pretty nervous, leaving anyone with my dog for grooming is nerve racking but Jeanette made me feel super comfortable leaving my fur baby in her hands. We talked about the products that she was going to use on my dog which by the way are all organic! I have 2 dogs, one of which is a rescue with serious anxiety and grooming issues; I decided to bring them here based on the great reviews and I liked how many people commented about how gentle the grooming style is, I figured that would be beneficial for my difficult rescue. However, my experience here was a bit odd. I felt like I was negotiating with the groomer about how I wanted my dogs hair cut and there were fees for everything. For example, I have Schnauzers, I asked for a Schnauzer cut for one of them and there was a $25 fee for a specialty cut ON TOP of the standard price of $45 for grooming. One of my Schnauzers is 11 years old, in 11 years I've never been charged an additional fee just to give her a Schnauzer cut. My other dog had severely knotted legs, I asked that they shave them bc they were beyond saving and I had to pay a $15 fee for her to shave the knots. I can understand paying if I asked her to comb them out (which I would never do) but the explanation she gave me was that it takes her time to shave it so she charges due to the inconvenience. She also shaved my dogs moustache completely off without my permission because "it was too far gone". I believe it was probably a mistake and was blamed on knotting. I think she also charged me an additional $15 to remove 3 small knots that were on one of the dogs legs even though I asked her not to touch them and that I would do it myself. I felt as if she was charging me additional fees just because one of my dogs was an inconvenience to her due to anxiety. At the end of my visit I paid $145 for 2 dogs, one of which (the difficult one) I had to pay an above average price for her to completely shave her. I am giving this experience 3 stars only because one of my dogs came out ok. It's not a bad place if you have an easy dog, just beware of the fees and ask a lot of questions beforehand. read more

As soon as I came in with my two usually frantic dogs, I noticed as soon as they saw Jeanette, they did not bark at all. Our dogs usually get into stranger danger mode and start freaking out but they were so at ease with her that I was actually in shock that they were already comfortable with her. We did a consultation and I was very impressed with Jeanette's knowledge and patience with answering my questions all the while the dogs were bouncing around. We came up with a good solid care plan for both of the dogs, walked me through every single step that the puppers were going to go through, even explained the aromatherapy and how everything was organic and natural. She showed me around the grooming area and showed me how the each dog gets it's own individual attention at a time. Oh, and they have this fantastic, utterly luxurious bathtub that will blow your mind. They did not cut any corners on equipment here. I felt very comfortable leaving the dogs here with Jeanette and her daughter. When I came back, Jeanette brought the dogs right out and I couldn't recognize them! They looked like puppies again! Their haircuts were perfect, their nails clipped to a good length and they smelled so good! But the best thing was that they were so relaxed and calm. We finally found someone that the dogs love and someone that can actually take care of them.
