Brisket sandwich. The picture is unassuming BUT it's soft, tender, and falls apart when you eat it. Definitely delicious.

They have a truck right outside the Lowe's at the Pacific Commons in Fremont. I believe it's Mon-Wed starting at around 9/10a. Anyways! Angel was the person who served me. They we sweet and super hospitable! I got the brisket sandwich with a side of beans. The beans were sweet with some bacon chunks. It was good! And the sandwich was beyond my expectations. The meat was SO TENDER, I shared a bit with a coworker and they immediately went to order a sandwich. In total after I ordered, 4 more coworkers went out and ordered the exact same thing after seeing what I got. We were all so full, we couldn't finish our chips! Meat is tender and full of flavor and kept falling off. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

I don't have high expectations for bbq in California, and I'm not expecting Texas quality bbq (by Texas standards this would be abysmal). The food overall was just ok. I got overcharged by like $4-5, not sure how it happened, the payment system does show how the bill adds up to the total. Ok, off to a bad start. It's a trailer on the side of the road and no place to sit. Which is fine by me, I'm just here for takeout. Brisket: the brisket was a bit chewy and wasn't super juicy or flavorful. It was the best of the meats but not great. Chicken: it was ok. Not much to say about chicken. Hot link: O man, it was BAD. No snap, bad texture inside, not hot and didn't taste great. I don't know how you screw up it up. Actually I think I know, I'm 99% sure the hot link is from costco and it's what the hot dog stands sell. But somehow hot dog stands actually make it taste good. This was by far the worst part of the meal and a huge disappointment. Ended up giving the rest to my dog, she loved it. Sides: Sides were pretty good but they were tiny. They are the size of the guacamole cups from chipotle. I also got a dinner roll, 3 slices of pickles and a big thing of pretty bland and thick bbq sauce. Overall, I didn't have high expectations and if they fix the sausage by not using a store bought hot dog, and either lower the price or give you decent size sides, this place could be 3 stars and maybe worth going to if you're really desperate for bbq. In its current state I'm not a fan and would not go back. Owner was really nice though, wish her the best of luck!

Smoking Soul mates, brisket + ribs. Bread, cookie, chips

I've gotten food from here twice already, and service is excellent everytime. Angel, the lady running the truck always greets us warmly and she is very easy to talk to. She even stayed open late past her operating hours so I could return and place my order! Super sweet, passionate about what she sells, and overall pleasure to be around. I got the Smokin Soulmates and chose the brisket+ ribs. You can just taste the love she puts in every bite of meat. Her brisket is tender and juicy while the ribs were flavorful and falling off the bone. They pair well with the BBQ sauce, baked beans, bread that comes with the combo. THE SAUCE is super delicious and is so well seasoned, it definitely compliments the amazing smokey goodness of the meats. The chips are solid and our complimentary cookies did not disappoint. The cookies were soft, full of chocolate chips, not too sweet, and a decent size to cleanse your palette after the meal. You can order online, but I totally recommend coming in person and placing your order. She really loves getting to know her customer base and the line moves fast. The truck is next to a plaza so there is plenty of parking, she has a bar with 2 stools set up so you can eat there, but no tables. She takes cash and card. She also accepts NFC payments.

Got the smokin' soulmates because the brisket order I got last time was too good to not get 2 meats this time. Thanks so much Angel and we will see you soon :)

Amazing service and very friendly folks! Excited to try the food shortly Angel said they will be putting out seating soon but don't have them this week since it's their first week in this Santa Clara location.

The location that we went to is located next to Maggiano's Little Italy in Santana Row on Olin Ave. There is a free 2 hour parking structure across of the restaurant where my boyfriend and I parked at. We came during their Lunch Specials (until 4pm) and Happy Hour (from 3-5:30pm) which worked perfectly as we wanted something smaller in portion compared to the dinner portions. We started off with drinks. I got their Pig Ol' Bitties Blonde Ale, and my boyfriend got their Friday Beer & Shot special of This Little Piggy Went to [Mark]et with a 16 oz Dirty Little Pig IPA and a shot of Benchmark whiskey. My fault for having him get a whiskey shot on an empty stomach, though HAHA. He did like how smooth the whiskey was at least! We shared a 2-meat BBQ Lunch Combo Plate, and honestly, we should have gotten 3 meats because of how tender and delicious everything was! We got their Tri Tip and Sliced Brisket with their Garlic Mash and server recommended Sweet Potato Tots. Ahhh, everything was so good! Aside from the tender, flavorful meats, the two sides, especially the garlic mash, were sooooo good. We both loved everything! It was definitely a great choice coming during lunch as we were quite full after ordering one of their happy hour shareables of Chips & Queso (kind of pricey even for happy hour in my opinion for chips and cheese). Honestly wished we got their Chili Cheese Fries or their other fries which were the same price than just chips and dip LOL. But it was a good hold over food with us drinking a bit (at least for me). Shoutout to the only server who was working on a late Friday afternoon as she was doing her best to accommodate everyone + trying to clean up the previous tables. It was kind of sad seeing that the other workers didn't help bus the tables in my opinion. Overall, a great place to watch sports and have some good whiskey as this restaurant is known for their whiskey selections! The lunch BBQ exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back for another lunch special meal but probably with 3 meats this time!

My sister wanted bbq for her birthday and so we opted for this place. i loved they way that it was decorated. it's like a bar and bbq served in one place. Since i've never been here before i was really surprised by their portion sizes. it was well worth the money spent and picking up was easy too. super nice guys who helped me. i was a bit confused on what kind of sauces they had. the person who helped me gave me a run down and explained their sauces. they also gave me some samples to try to take home as welll. by far i think id have to agree that their tin roof sauce is the best sauce my sister even wanted to know if she could just buy their bbq sauce. other then that we ordered roughly a good portion of bbq- pulled pork, cheddar cheese jalapeño sausage, burnt ends, brisket, chicken wings, and ribs. our sides were the cajun rice, green beans, cole slaw and corn succatash. would probably love to come back for their lunch special one of these days.

After watching a review on social media, I decided to try something new. I had to try the cracklin' chicken bites. I ordered the southern fried fish, added the brisket, and the collard greens. After I ordered, I went to the bar to order a gin and tonic. I asked for the Bombay Sapphire gin. Then, it turned into an unreal experience. When I got my drink, I asked the female bartender if she added lemon or lime. She gave me "the look" and said I did not ask for lemon or lime. Taken aback, I told her that I've never had a gin and tonic without lemon or lime. She then replied, "rude". I proceeded to apologize, and then she acquiesced and gave me a garnish. I thanked her and again apologized. She was having none of it. I was in a great mood because I still tipped her. However, it has been bugging me ever since July 25. Hence, my review. Back to the food. My food was delicious, flavorful, and portion sizes were great. In fact, I am taking my parents there today. However, we are going to go to the one on South of Market--just in case I want a gin and tonic. I will be sure to ask for lime this time. :)

We typically get a 1-meat combo which is more than enough for our 2-3 person family. The portions are huge and the banchan is refilled so unless you're craving tons of different meats, no need to order a ton more. I also love their tofu soup, it's not too oily and also keeps well if you have leftovers. The interior is clean and well kept so you'll be comfy with a group anywhere from 2-6 people. Larger groups might be harder to accomodate but I've never had to reserve for under 6.

We came here around 5:30PM so we did not wait for a table of 5 at all. We wanted to order the package B which comes with 3 protein of choice with add on ramen and cold noodles but they refused to let us order package B but insisted us to order package C which comes with 4 protein of choices. I and my niece don't eat meat so package B was good for us. There are 5 of us but 2 of us don't eat meat, we basically eat the banchan with the sauces. I do not like how they handle the situation at all! I clearly told them I don't eat meat so package B was good for us and they refused. We can not finished with 4 protein for package C which had a lot of left over afterward. The galbi was $9 add on more which the portion are small and over cooked! The grilled chicken was okay, the pork belly and the beef brisket overly thin slices below average quality. The best part of this was the banchan they were given, the potatoes salad was delicious. The hot sauce was very good. I just add all the banchan with white rice and hot sauce to make the best Bibimbap ever. The cold noodles were excellent just like how it tasted in Korea. When my daughter gets up to pay for the bill, they expected us to tip them 18% instead of 15% because there are were party 5 of us. You lucky that we even tip you 15% while we felt the services was horrible! Overall, I like the foods here but the service was not right!
