The service is quite good with the server back-and-forth frequently, but not so frequently as to be bothersome two business transactions. The ambience is absolutely wonderful. There is a patio. I did not sit at it, but it is certainly there unavailable, which is a wonderful option. The menu is eclectic. I had simply a wonderful salad, completely vegetarian, but very, very fulfilling and in my opinion a wonderful option. OMG, love Barnaby's! Not my first time here, and it's definitely a go-to spot for amazing salads. This time I tried the Sausalito Salad and it was absolutely incredible. HUGE portions, so definitely be careful ordering if you're not super hungry! Our waiter was so sweet. The place always looks so bright and cheerful. I also went to another location about a month ago and had a great experience there too. I always love how decorated Barnabys is! Such a good atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. I was craving something pasta related so I decided to try the chicken parm with fettuccine, it's not something I would get again and that's on me- there are better options at a place like this. My husband loves the roast beef sandwich, he says this is about the only place he would get it at. He has tried a lot of things (most of the apps) and says they are really good. Came to this restaurant with a work group and was pleasantly surprised. Our group of 11 was accommodated promptly (without reservations) and the service was great. I really want to like this place I do, but I felt there were to many things that added up to be disappointed at. The burgers were supposed to be cooked medium, both came out almost rare (the reviews are pretty consistent with this issue), fries were mid temp and felt like they had been left out a while. The appetizers really were the saving point as the wontons were really the best with flavor and temperature . Felt almost rushed out even on Sunday at 3 when it looked like they were doing shift changes. If you're thinking a late lunch you might want to go elsewhere. read more

Great place for lunch and they serve breakfast all day! I have visited twice once I had breakfast during lunch and the second I had a burger and fries. Both times the food and experience was excellent. The service was very good as well. The last time my guest had the carrot cake and it was a very very big slice. He said it was very good. Today I placed an Uber eats order with this location, ordering the salmon and in a note I asked for it to be cooked on the rare side and when I got my food, it was as well done as I've ever had, unfortunately, Uber eats even in their ratings does not list overcooked as an option if you did not like something so hoping that the restaurant will read this, please pay attention to the notes because this makes me never want to order from you again, which is sad because we all know how good you are. Super cute diner/cafe! Decor is very lively and inviting. We were visiting from Central Tx, and left very satisfied. The food is wonderful, and generous portions. The menu has a nice amount of variety. My boyfriend got the sausage & pepper pizza, and I got a chicken mill plate. The only suggestion I would have is for the chicken plate to have mashed potatoes or home fries, rather than French fries. However, both of us loved our food and the ingredients were sooooo fresh. My chicken had the PERFECT char and grill marks. The pizza toppings were fresh and the cheese pull was nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Ordered to go lunch and ample parking in Long Point. Area is mixed and slightly sketchy at places, the shopping plaza is fine during the day, but I'd feel less comfortable walking here at night. My mushroom Swiss burger and fries were great and they gave me a lot of condiments. I'm not sure I like the payment screen it automatically places different tips and there's not a place to put in a different amount - it forces you to put the tip before you pay. Recommended if you are in the area, but I will probably stick with the River Oaks and Woodward for convenience and safety. read more

This was a great little place that I visited while on a work trip in the area service was great for whatever reason seemed kind of awkward at first but afterwards it was fine. I ordered the sausage and pepper pizza and it was really good. The crust was a little different kind of a crunchy sourdough with a little bit of chew to it. I went here with friends and I always get the chicken Caesar salad. It's the best and biggest around, but I wanted to try a sandwich. I got the salad to go and got the tuna burger medium with fries. It was cooked correctly and the romelaude sauce and shredded romaine made the sandwich delish. The only negative were the fries were just okay. I wanted house made ones; these were thin freezer fries. It was a big sandwich so I had to box it up. The place was clean and staff were nice. The waiter was kind of in a rush but I'm told that's the way they are here so you get food fast. Polite on the way out as well. My one friend had the Chinese chicken salad which I tried. Used to be good and clean now it's a pigs den with rude employees and manager. I have been going for over 9 years now and never got treated like I did last month. The employee at the check out counter picked up a trash from the floor and went on to proceed checking my take out bag - when I told him to stop he looked at me like I was a pest . I told him to not go thru my food when he didn't wash his hands after picking up some trash off the floor. Like it's basic hygiene and health especially when serving food.
