I have been meaning to visit Burger Joint ever since this new location opened and finally made it last week. My visit was for lunch and I was worried about parking space but there was plenty of room in back. The building is similar in design to their other locations. An open air interior where the ordering counter is and then a covered and enclosed patio dining area with further outdoor seating on picnic tables covered by umbrellas. I ordered my usual classic burger with no onions or cheese ($10) and added a regular size order of fries ($5) and a soft drink ($3.50). With tax it was 19.99....oh well there goes a $20 bill. The food was delivered to me in about 10 minutes. Their burgers are solid in construction with a big beef patty on a nice bun and dressed. It was very good tasting. Also my order of fries was large enough for two people and I appreciate their hand cut fries. Very tasty. I wonder why other restaurants can't do this rather than serving the frozen out of a bag type. It was a good meal as I expected. I know that beef is expensive and all prices are up. However, I wish they offered combo prices. My meal was basic as it gets. A regular burger with no cheese, regular size fries and a soft drink and no change from a $20 bill. With cheese and ordering a specialty burger meal would have cost me at least $25. I guess the $15 hamburger meal is almost extinct. Sad!

Went with the family today for the first time. Overall we liked it and will be back. The music was mostly 80s which was great. Food was good. I felt the price of the burgers was a little high for the overall size. They don't skimp on the ingredients or anything, but paying $12-15 for a burger before the fries? You order at the counter and they bring your food so you don't have to pay a tip. The condiments, drinks, etc are self serve. When we were done they came and took our trays. But there are also openings on the condiment counter which could be for dumping your tray. So not sure of the expectation. There is a full bar with a margarita machine. Parking was easy but we weren't there at peak lunch hour. It's worth trying for sure.

Where do I start.... Super excited when I saw the construction going on, a Burger Joint in my neighborhood! I have great things to say about the one in Montrose. So...I was expecting this location to be great as well! Welp, I stopped by after work finally yesterday in the 5pm hour. It was not busy most people were getting off work for a quick bite. Now, they decided to share a lot with their Taco Stand and boy parking is going to be horrible when the Taco stand opens. Parking at the Burger Joint is tight and barely enough for the size of this place. They should have made this location a Togo....in and out not a full service if they were going to share the lot. I have no clue where folks will park when both businesses are fully operational. Next, upon walking in a lady was helping another customer and so a young man, Aiden approached the other register to help me. Get this, there was no may I help you or anything said. Just a motion with his head back and chin up. He did it twice. I was taken aback, Aiden we are not bros!!! Like what happened to quality customer service!!! I just stood there until he opened his mouth and said something. After being in shock, I guess he and his female coworker felt it was funny and that I was the problem. Wow!!! The service was extremely lazy, I felt like I was watching an episode of Laguna beach. I ordered my food to go. Never will I patronize this location until they get proper customer service. Finally, I asked for the Aioli to be in the side. I ordered a side of fries and the Mahi Mahi burger. Welp, when I got home....oh yes there was the Aioli on the burger. BOTH SIDES of the bread. The frozen margarita was too sweet, I should have gotten it on the rocks. :( This location is a NO for me.

Staff is nice, the place is clean. Appreciate how many sauce stations there were and the extra to go boxes and bags being accessible vs having to go up to the counter to get it. I got a burger that had pulled pork, mac&cheese, and slaw. Also asked for mine to be cooked medium and it was just as requested. I was really happy with mine and would definitely get it again (though I have plans to get the "fire" burger next time!). Also their spicy ketchup is good. Main negatives were the insanely loud music and opening both garage style doors on a cold day. Like we chose the spot we were at because it was away from the already opened one. Thankfully though we just about done eating. The regular fries are also really plain so i wouldnt bother ordering them again.

Stopped by after bingo at around 1am. Staff was nice. Ordered the kimchi burger. Cooked to the correct temperature and a lot bigger than I excepted. Kimchi gave it a great extra crunch and flavor to the burger along with the egg! Very good. I also got the boozy rootbeer float! The alcohol rootbeer was not too much to my liking. Tasted weird to me. Yet with the ice cream, it helped mellow the taste down.

A fairly new establishment with an amazing outdoor patio. Great for football season or watching sports with family and friends. The lady at the register was very nice, patient, and helped us with our order as first-timers. We ordered a queso hotdog and substituted the raw onions for grilled ones, which was surprisingly no extra charge. Fries are not included with the hotdog, so we ordered those separately, and the order is enough for two or as a shareable side. The frozen margaritas are 7/10, mighty flavor, small kick!

My husband and I we are suckers for some good burgers and the burger joint just recently opened up near us and we were so thrilled! Absolute enjoyed both the burgers and we cannot wait to go back! The Fire burger lives up to its name, it's spicy and juicy, the pattie is cooked to perfection. The Rodeo burger is a seasonal item, it's your classic bacon, bbq sauce, cheddar cheese with caramelised onions combo and it did not disappoint!! We also enjoyed the Mac&Cheese and the bacon parm fries was chef kiss! Next time we go I definitely want to try their shakes!! Definitely recommend this place and best part they have various locations all throughout Houston!

3/29/2026: First, ignore the red tint to my photos. We were sitting under a red umbrella, and it bled through to my photos. We had lunch at the semi new (open 2 months) TBJ for the first time on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Everything was good, but the restaurant is located on a very busy and loud street. If you know Gessner, you'll understand. On this day, we counted 6 fire trucks/ambulances that went by. Probably won't be the norm, but it was still annoying enough to leave a mark in my mind. To be fair, I am a noise sensitive person. I noticed the music was quite loud. I think they were trying to drown out the traffic. For this reason, I would probably go again, but I would make it an early lunch or a late lunch. We went at exactly 12:30 pm, so it was very busy. This is a walk up and order type restaurant. You pay at the counter after ordering. They give you a number and bring your food to you when ready. The have high-top tables, regular tables, bar seating, and patio tables with and without umbrellas. TVs surround the inside and outside so it's easy to catch your favorite team while eating (GO ASTROS!). They will also change the station for you if you ask. Though loud, the music was great. Classic 80's hits. They have a fountain drink station. Next t the drinks, there is a sauce bar with spicy ketchup (not Whataburger, but it's good), mustard, mayo, regular ketchup, and more. My dad ordered the Rodeo burger. He loved it. My aunt ordered the classic burger. She liked hers. I ordered the smash burger. I didn't realize it had 2 patties, so it was larger than I needed but still very good. They use shredded romaine lettuce. I love shredded lettuce, but I prefer it to be iceberg. They have a good aioli sauce that is mixed with spicy ketchup. It was pretty dang good. Their mayonnaise is really good too. It tasted like there was a hint of garlic in it. The fries were terrific. You can tell they are hand cut. The onion rings were good, but I think they were frozen type. A little on the thicker side than I like. They should have done hand cut thin rings with flakey batter to go with their hand cut fries. That would have been impressive. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The restaurant is clean. Parking is behind the building and a little sparce when crowded. Total for 3 burgers, one order of fries, one order of onion rings, and 3 drinks was $62.84. I will go back, but I will go a different day and time. I will also choose a different seating section. I would like to try their hotdogs. I would also like to participate in their happy hour. I've already told my coworker, so I'll be back for that. This place is part of the "THE" restaurants. THE Taco Stand, THE Pizza Place, THE Burger Joint. A The Taco Stand is going in right next door to The Burger Joint, so I can only imagine the traffic will double along with the parking. But, I love me some tacos, so I will try it for sure. Not seeing where they will have a space to put The Pizza Place, so who knows on that restaurant. All in all, TBJ was good. I just personally prefer a quieter environment. The good out weight the bad though. TVs, patio, good food, good service... maybe they can add a clear "wall" to cut the street noise? (hint, hint ;))

Loved this place! Such a fun atmosphere. Outdoor seating with lots of TVs, they have an in between seating which is technically inside and covered but you're close to outside and then they have a fully inside seating with a full bar. The burger was really good, my husband got the kimchi burger and really liked it. Fries are classic, no special seasoning but still good. The chocolate shake was good, not overly sweet or overly chocolatey. The only thing I was disappointed in was the ranch :( I love a good restaurant ranch with my burger and fries but this wasn't it. We will definitely be back to try more things!! The parking is slightly limited since the taco stand is opening next door soon, it is kind of hard to get to because of the location. The service was great, very friendly you order at the front and they bring it to you.

I love Burger Joint, and I'm so happy they finally opened a location closer to me. I had been craving a burger for about a month, so it was the perfect treat after Lent. I ordered my usual Classic with fries, and as always, it was absolutely delicious. My sister and dad tried the Smoke Stack burger for their first visit, and they were really impressed with the flavor. Overall, we had a great lunch and are so excited to have this spot nearby now

This was my first time going to this specific Burger Joint (duh it opened within the past couple of weeks) and overall the experience was pretty much identical compared to the other locations in Houston. I ordered the Rodeo Burger substituted with a veggie pattie and the bacon on the side (I'm vegetarian but was with my girlfriend) and a side of fries and queso. While I did enjoy my burger overall, Ive always had issues with both the structural integrity and the taste of the veggie pattie. The pattie ends up stretching and breaking apart really easily, which honestly would be fine if it tasted good. My burger also ended up having bacon on it, because it was hidden underneath the cheese I almost didn't catch it. I'm sure they would've offered to remake it if I asked, but I ended up just picking it out. The fries were really crispy which I always enjoy, but there were some that tasted somewhat stale. Not sure what happened because out of the entire tray it was only around 5 of them but I thought I should mention it anyways. Service was friendly and expeditious as always, and the place was clean as a button, so no issues on that front. In terms of atmosphere, this might be a bit nitpicky, but with it being outside and so close to a feeder road the sound of traffic was pretty jarring for a laid back outdoor venue. Full disclosure I did go during rush hour so that definitely played a factor in it all, but I've gone during rush hour at their other locations before and it hasn't been an issue because they're located along less busy roads.

Burger was just like made from my own grill. Juicy and medium cooked! Very good! Dont like they charges to add lettuce and tomatos But kids meal was big! Ordered regular fries with No salt and came With salt. ‍ Not much, but still don't pay attention to that detail. Regular fries are hand cut , love that...sweet potato fries are ok. Love all the TVs on the patio was a perfect place to sit today. Was out of Coke Zero. :( Manager came around and apologized for the soda and fries and offered to bring more.

One thing that really stood out, and I haven't seen many restaurants do this -- is that they offer you a small sample of the food before you order. That little touch made a huge difference! It helped me decide on the right heat level for my chicken and narrow down which sides I wanted. Such a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I ordered the H-Town wings with the hot honey sauce and a side of their homemade ranch -- and WOW. The wings were incredible, and that ranch? Delicious doesn't even cover it. I also ordered the leg and thigh Korean style, and while the flavor was amazing, it was a bit too saucy for my taste. I hate sending food back, but I knew I wasn't going to eat it -- so I did. And let me tell you, they handled it with such grace and kindness. No attitude, no awkwardness -- just genuine, outstanding customer service. That right there says everything about the kind of establishment Tumble 22 is. I couldn't even finish everything (portions are generous!), but the leftovers reheated perfectly in the air fryer the next day. I will absolutely be back -- especially for those H-Town wings. If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

The person I was with had no the smoked salmon avocado toast and what I recall to be the amazon cloud. She rated them both 10/10 with no hesitation. Very flavorful and refreshing. Overall this experience was 10/10 for both of us. It's a not so small coffee shop with diverse options, friendly staff, and a clean ambiance that makes me want to go back. Highly recommend.

The last time I was here, a server took our order. However, this time, after waiting for a looooong time at our table, I discovered that all ordering should be done at the counter. I like how open and spacious the place is but the booth seats were in poor condition, with extreme cracks and peeling pleather. Also, many of the tablets were dirty and I had to get up and ask for napkins to clean up the stains. Help was very limited during this visit. The baristas were engrossed in making drinks and didn't seem very friendly or eager to help with questions. On the bright side, the young gal who brought out our food and drinks was really nice and helpful. She even offered to spray down our table and wipe it clean for us after she saw how icky it was. There's a Pick 3 toasts for $24.95 option and we chose two smoked salmon toasts and one avocado toast. They were decently good. It was a nice light meal to share between two of us. However, the quality of the drinks has declined. The strawberry matcha used to be excellent but the flavor has lost its vibrancy. I would not order it again.

I loved how the spring rolls had chili on top of the peanut sauce, giving it that extra kick- if you don't enjoy spice, just a heads up! I was impressed by the portion size for the large pho and the generous amount of meat. I shared this with a friend and it was the perfect amount. I was also very impressed by the coconut matcha. I was not expecting a restaurant to have good matcha but here we are! Not to mention, it was my first time trying coconut with matcha but the combo was a hit- super refreshing and it didn't taste watered down at all. This spot also has such good service too! Everyone here was very friendly, funny, and had good energy. Will definitely be back!
