This has to be my go-to spot in the Spring Branch area. While the prices might seem a little high at first, you'll be relieved when you see the size of their portions. The House Salad with Grilled Chicken comes with an entire chicken breast. And the Classic Clubhouse is just an all around awesome sandwich. And I always order for my dog...just $5-$6 for a very generous dish of chicken and rice. I've been a customer of this company since 1997. One of the best attributes of your company was the diversity in the staff and how attentive they were to me. I spent a lot of time with many of your employees some which are still working for you. More over really glad there's a location in the neighborhood I grew up in, Spring Branch. But ... with the exception of Christy, have no concept of what your company has done for me over the years - be attentive, pay attention. I walked in on 01/11/24 and was told to seat myself. One server saw sit down and that's it. He did nothing else. I sat for 5 to 10 mins with no drink - so left. I did mention my issue with the greeter but left anyway. I always look for places that are dog friendly. So glad Barnaby's opened a location in Spring Branch. I bought my dog with me for a quick bite to eat. I love their wedge salad. It comes with two thick slices of bacon. I decided to try a Guacamole Burger with Sweet Potato fries. I ordered a strawberry mimosa for my drink. For my pup, they give dog water bowls. I ordered him chicken and brown rice. Safe to say he enjoyed it too. Our server was nice and attentive. They also had a great selection of music playing. This is a casual dining spot with great food in large quantities. You don't have to wait tobe seated--just pick a table. Their perfectly seasoned, crispy side of fries could easily be halved and the serving would still be generous! The menu has plenty of variety. I chose the Coronado Beef plate which was topped with cheese, tomatoes and green onions. I was too full to try dessert, but the selection looked inviting. Spring Branch is hopping these days with a restaurant row! First off, ample open lot parking. The interior has big Christmas-like balls hanging from the ceiling -- fun. It's spacious inside, not too loud even though it was fairly full. Service was spot on. They do have wine and beer. $7 Mimosa -- not bad! I noted there were a number of women dining together -- gal pal kind of thing. Nice to be comfortable. The menu has something for everyone. I had the chicken Caesar salad. Stick to the salads! Barnaby's used to offer excellent food but we have decided they are only good for salads after last night's dinner. My meatloaf was tasty but the broccoli was raw, cold and lacked seasoning. The mashed potatoes were microwaved poorly as parts were hot and parts cold. My wife's burger was raw, not medium as requested and stated on the menu. The fries were excellent. Fortunately there are better joints in the neighborhood for burgers. read more

Recently, our group of 5 had dinner here. The restaurant is in a strip center and at 6:00 pm there was plenty of parking. Some of the things we had were the Spinach & Artichoke dip, guacamole, Chipotle Black bean burger & fries, meatloaf, pork chops, chicken fried steak, and chicken mediterranean salad. For dessert, they had the carrot cake. Everything was delicious. I did get the baby brownie a la mode. I have to say I'd pass on it in the future. It was just big enough for 2 bites. While I know the point of it being "baby" sized, I still felt $3.00 for 2 bites was a bit much. Otherwise, I was very pleased with everything else. Our server was wonderful. Barnaby's doesn't do reservations, but I had been reaching out to them over the past few weeks, just to give them a heads up. I selected this location for our gathering because of the great parking access. Fernando and Maritza made us feel welcome, made sure we had everything we needed, and took great care of us. Well, my last two times I bought pizza! Half pepperoni , half pull pork. It wasn't cook right with less pull pork. The second no vegetables at all. Little pull pork. I ask for jap to be on the side he said they're only grill when they are only on the pizza. I made a comment about it Fernando The old guy with the red hair. If I wanted the jap they should have been grill not cold.Then I complained on how little pork was on the pizza he took it back and put more on top of the pizza but the meat was cold. Rudy was the one who introduced that to me my first time. So I decided not to come back anymore. Unless I know Rudy is there. He was very nice making sure my pizza was like I like it. Not only did he suggested up sale. I was very happy with the results. I suggest that to a few friends they said it must be different cooks on Sunday than a Thursday night. Rudy doesn't work Sundays. So that's why I won't go back or I'll call first. Mr Fernando will never wait on me. On top of my pizza being hard and over cooked looking dark like sweet potato pie. Ordered the Breakfast plate eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast - not worth ordering/nothing special. It did not taste bad but i feel like it could have been better. The potato reminded me of the seasoned french fries I get at the grocery stores except these were cut in a square. Waiter asked me if I wanted crispy bacon but it was way too crispy to chew. In my opinion basic breakfast should not be difficult to make. $20 for breakfast with coffee and tip... no thanks Spring Branch other places to get breakfast. read more

So my heart broke today. I have always felt like this was a safe bet to eat out at. I have taken friends to treat them here, gone on dates to try and impress. But unfortunately nothing lasts forever. I had a long day yesterday at work, I try not to go in to restaurants and will do curbside due to Covid. And for those who think it is over, a very good friend of mine caught it on Monday this week in a different city in Texas so it still is out there. Nonetheless, and retrospectively, I do feel targeted by this location because my food was undercooked and bloody. The worst part about my experience today was the manager Janie who I demanded to txt the photo to because she was willing to take my word for it and not even take more interest when I told her I had a photo. Literally begged her to take the photo because I said I feel sick and you know I am so stupid for eating it. Yesterday I told the representative on the phone to let the chef cook it standard or by their preference which is supposed to be medium. Usually I say medium well, because I was feeling guilty for asking for lettuce in place of bun and cooks and kitchen are known to have attitudes when changing the menu too much. I try to be considerate of others. So now I am sitting her with a headache a tummy ache and I paid for this shit. I just got so annoyed with her talking over me and stating it shouldn't happen but not trying to make it right. I mentioned I am tempted to get an attorney but will wait to see if I get more sick. So then the call gets to the point where she says she has to go she has other calls to take. We were on the phone for 14 mins I paid over 40.00 last night to get sick. I said since I bought my house I would just cook more because these restaurants are just not that great at customer service and obviously safety. Again I should have just taken it back or called but after a while you just get tired of complaining. So this is really meant to be an obituary because I will never eat here again and I again shouldn't have to to pay for that with my money or my health! read more

As a resident of Spring Branch, we totally love the meals and service at the Longpoint Barnabys Cafe. However, I was hoping that the Green eggs recipe would be repeated and made exactly the way that Baby Barnabys makes it. It is nowhere near the taste. Basically tasteless and appears that another type of cheese is used in it. Please consider watching the cooks at Baby Barnabys so I don't have to drive all the way to that location for Green Eggs( always worth the drive)!!! read more

I saw the images for the extra crispy pizza being served at this spring branch location and I was amazed. I ordered two pizzas, one being the pepperoni pizza and the other a Hawaiian pizza with black olives extra crispy cooked. It took less than 20 minutes and I drove to pick up my order. Wow! What an awesome location I never have problems parking and getting my order. The atmosphere has a busy but calm feeling. Never fussy and always rewarding. If you want to try a different delicious pick up pizza this place has incredibly quality food. I can't wait to try more. Heavenly Barnabys!
