I have boarded my golden retriever "Princess" many times at this place. Once 3 weeks at a stretch. I have also used their day care services. I have had many conversations with the owners Matt and Bree. They are very nice and genuine. The place is kept clean. You can view what is going on via webcams. I am for the most part satisfied with the service. I would give the place a three star but the one additional star is for the owners and the staff who try to take care of the dogs as much as possible. If you are expecting personal attention to every dog, it might not happen but if you ask them to take care of some specific issue with your dog them they will look into it. read more

My fur baby Valentina has been going to Barneys Ranch for a few years now. I have tried other doggy daycare's yet have found that they are not as caring as the wonderful staff at Barneys Ranch. They make sure that our fur baby has a great time and are super friendly. I am willing to drive the extra distance to make sure that my pup is in good hands. My puppies, Hope and Holly had their first boarding experience at Barney's Ranch. I called the day we were leaving and extremely nervous to leave them but they were able to take them and reassured me they would be well taken care of. The staff made me less nervous and didn't make me feel like a pain when I called everyday to check on them. I tried to find them on the webcam but all the dogs were having such a great time it was hard to find them. My puppies came home happy, not smelly and adjusted back to our routine with out a htich. read more

My dog Jasper and I love this place! She comes home clean and happy, and tired! We love the web cam of the pets. We have been using Barney's Ranch to board our dog Paisley when we are out of town for the last year and a half and have been very happy. The staff is always really nice and they don't mind giving her medicine which is a plus for us. I also love being able to watch her and check in on her via their webcam. She seems to love it too. Well...we have used Barney's Ranch a few times now. We had a huge run in with Rover Resort. An incident over vaccines for my 12 year old poodle the day before leaving on vacation. We called our Vet, Dr. Ballard, who is wonderful by the way, and they recommended Barney's Ranch. Older dogs do not need vaccines as regularly as younger dogs, so since Barney's Ranch works with Dr. Ballard they called the office and got the ok to take Suzie our little poodle. We were able to take our vacation and not have to cancel. Ever since then, I have been extremely pleased with their care, kindness and love they give our dogs. After several bad experiences with a competitor, I began taking Cooper and Hank to Barney's. They have been going there weekly for daycare for the last year and have stayed for boarding many time, and I have been very pleased with the care they received. The facility is very clean, the staff is great and most importantly it's obvious the owners have a deep compassion for animals- it's not just a business to them as they are very supportive of local rescue groups. read more

This review is posted on Google as well. After a horrible experience at another dog daycare/boarding center just down the street we decided to bring our 80lbs German Shorthaired Pointer here. Several visits later we see consistency. Upon walking inside the staff always greets you with a smile. If it doesn't smell like scented candles you'll be able to smell cleaning agents. They remember our dogs name and always ask what we are dropping him off for so they can document and charge accordingly at pick up. We love that the first visit was free, to board overnight is $30.00 with daycare, that an entire day of care (7am-7pm) is $20.00, and that a half day of care (less than 6 hours) is $15.00. When we were given the tour of the facility it smelled over surprisingly clean and even better that it looked clean. We're not so excited about the "no ball/no toys" policy as our dog can play fetch for hours and leads us to wonder what it is that they do all day and if they have enough stimulation, but we do understand their concern for safety. We do like the fact that if it gets to hot outside they will bring to dogs to an inside play area and will even bust out small swimming pools for them outside over the summer. Our dog hasn't come home overly tired after a full day here mostly because he needs plenty of exercise which I'm afraid he's unable to get here without someone making him run after a ball, but it's very clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are right, and it allows us to go out and enjoy our day without worry. read more

We love this place and so does our puppy!! Bree and Matt treat Bentley like one of their own!! Barney's Ranch is very clean and spacious. They provide webcam coverage so we can see Bentley at any time during the day. They offer reasonable pricing which is always important. My husband and I travel frequently and need to leave Bentley often. He enjoys Barney's so much that when he sees me grab his orange overnight bag he runs for the door. If one of us even uses the word "Camp" he starts jumping around and heads for the door. Bentley loves Barney's Ranch! We are so glad we stumbled upon this place through a Groupon!! read more

BEWARE: They let a large black dog hump/mount multiple dogs repeatedly today in the big dog yard. I brought my female dog here for boarding the first time for 8 days while I was on vacation and I didn't have much time to check in on her but the few times I did she was doing fine. The small dog webcams were down at some point for a few days but i had her moved to the big dog yard as she is a large enough dog anyway. I thought things were going well - that was until today, I checked in on her on the webcam in the big dog yard while waiting for my flight and she was being humped by a much larger black dog. My dog has never been humped before and she is thankfully fixed, but I watched this dog mount her twice in the span of ten minutes and repeatedly hump her for brief periods of time and nobody was out there to stop it. I immediately called and the main guy with the accent that is always there answered and said they would tell the staff member that was supposed to be out there. Well I watched for the next 30 minutes as he came out to clean poop for a little bit and went back inside. Again, the dogs were left unattended and the dog proceeded to mount at least two other dogs there. They didn't remove the dog immediately after I complained and let it happen again and god knows how long they allowed this to happen before I checked the camera. Unfortunately I wasn't able to check anymore during my 3-4 hr long flight but when I went and picked her up today there was no apology or compensation or even just empathy for their lack of caution. The guy told me the black dog was not supposed to be in that yard for that very reason and someone had let him out when they weren't supposed to. How is that acceptable?! Their complete fault and they didnt even own up to it and apologize or just make us feel better at the very least. I paid full price, 315$ and not even an apology or explanation other than that. That is completely unacceptable for those who drop off their dogs trusting them to be taken care of and watched. I am sure they didnt even let the other dog owners know that had their dogs in daycare today that that this dog humped other dogs, so if you had your baby there today in the big dog yard you know now. I'm really concerned on how many days this dog was allowed to play before anyone noticed. I will never bring my dog again to this place and hope other owners are cautious when trusting their dogs here. There are so many well reviewed dog daycares available, please consider another place over this one. Dogs can spread diseases to other dogs even if they are fixed, so please don't dismiss something like this as a casual thing if you care about your pet. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I have tried a few doggie day cares and boarding facilities in the area and Barney's Ranch is by far the best. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and you can tell they really care about the well-being of your pups. The facilities are clean and the pups have a huge area to play. Our dogs Lulu and Franklin love going to Barney's when we are out of town! Lulu is only 2 so she enjoys the outdoor play. Franklin is older at almost 11 yrs and they bring him in if it's too hot outside, etc. We have never had an issue and would recommend. We have utilized the services of Barney's Ranch three times now for Dog Boarding. Each time, we have been very happy with the care and treatment he has received there. Have paid much more at other Doggie Boarding than at Barney's with not as much care and personal time given as he received here. I will definitely continue to be a customer of Barney's Ranch. Note: We loved being able to watch our dog on the video this last time while he was being boarded. We could tell how happy he was and what a great time he was having. We pass up many other facilities and drive 25 miles to utilize Barney's Ranch for boarding, because we are so pleased with their service read more

I just made reservations again for our two little dogs. We have left them at Barney's several times for long weekends and also a week stay while we were on vacation. We have been very pleased. We feel that the owners and staff really care for the dogs in their care. The facility looks clean and smells good every time we have been there. Our little dogs are so special to us and we would only leave them somewhere we have trust in. The webcam is a definite plus for us. Ok so heres the lowdown. We haven't had our dog more then 6 months he's a very timid and sweet dog not aggressive at all so boarding him was very nerve wrecking. Barney's ranch had great reviews and a online deal so we thought we would try it out. The owner is very friendly and we paid for him to pick our pooch up. No problem so far actually very easy. We called and checked in and all was well. We did enjoy watching the sketchy Internet viewing and saw our dog having fun splashing in the pool. We came to pick him up a day early and when he came out the owner told me he had a "small mark"on his ear from another aggressive dog. Our dog wasn't the aggressor and the other dog was separated after the incident .okay I guess.. Well no not really a seconds later as I was petting Him he screamed in pain . He had several large gashes in his head and ear!!!! They never called me to tell me this happened , no vet care and apparently didn't check him well since he said ohh I thought it was one small spot!! The. Injury was suppose to be from the day before which explains why we couldn't find him on the screen that day which leads me to believe my dog was punished and separated.. What the heck?? No call,no treatment and no respect for my pet? I don't feel like it was a fair deal. I'm not happy and now have vet bills. Lame! read more
