Barney's never disappoints. It was time for new tires on my truck so I called them and they stated the tires would be ordered and they would call me when they arrived (1 to 2 days). Tires were ordered on Tuesday and arrived Wednesday. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it in until Friday. They said no problem and to come in anytime. I arrived on Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM and was in and out in 45 minutes. I have recommended Barney's to family and friends and they have always been very accommodating. I needed a tire asap because I had a nail in my tire and was about to head out on a road trip. It was Friday at 4:45pm that I found out about the nail and I was leaving the next morning on a road trip. They were nice enough to look at a photo of the nail in the tire to see if it was fixable. It was not fixable and they ordered a tire for me which came the following morning. I showed up at 9:30am and they changed my tire which saved my road trip. Other places that I reached out to would not have the tire available until Monday but they got it over night. Excellent and friendly service. I found a new place for tires! read more

i went two few other tire shops to try and get my tire repaired and none of them was able to help me out with something as simple as patching the tire. then, someone had recommended me to go see Barney's. I went there and was greeted by Jaydee. He was very polite and helpful and was able to help me out. From time to time you might have issues with your car. Your tires touch the ground all the time and it is not uncommon to need tire repair occasionally. But who should you go to? Who should you trust? If you live within drivable distance of Barney's oh, you should absolutely go here. Staff are helpful and friendly, never had a bad experience. The work done is fast and professional oh, never had a bad experience. The price is strangely competitive. To the point where I don't understand how they could even have competition. How can anyone charged a lower price and provide the same Quality Service? I personally do not think it is possible therefore, Barney's is the best and you should trust them if you ever need service on your car. This might sound odd, but my multiple visits to Barney's is the best service and staff that I have noticed anywhere. Like anywhere, I've never met cooler people and well ran establishment. 2017 Mazda Mx-5 Miata TL:DR - If you want a place who holds themselves to a high standard and doesn't treat you like you're dumb, don't go here. Especially if you know even the slightest bit about cars. I am Extremely disappointed with my experience here. After being quoted $110 for an alignment on the phone I went down just before noon and was told it would be "in and out". When I arrived the price jumped to $175 because my car was on lowering springs, I told them this over the phone. We settled at $150 for the confusion. I asked for custom numbers on camber, caster, and toe, this was met with a correction that my car does not have caster adjustment, which it does. The toe was documented wrong so the tech working on my car had to come to me to clarify instead of following what was written at the desk. After waiting around 3 hours they were done, the car drove great but the steering wheel was crooked and I asked them to fix it. I was told it's fine, there's an adjustment under the car to make the wheel straight. Their actual fix: toe in the passenger side in the parking lot and call it good, it was not. I was insulted, the wheel still wasn't straight, and the toe I asked to have was no longer in spec. They did the same thing on the second request to fix the crooked wheel, and on the third they put a tech in the car with me to drive and do it on the side of the road! I chose to leave, unhappy with the results and out $150. The only credit I can give them is they met the camber values I asked for. I was able to get better results with the toe in my garage at home. EDIT: A few points from the owners response: "The reason for the longer wait and the price change was due to the custom alignment you wanted to get done with the specific alignment specifications you wanted which wasn't communicated over the phone." - My original phone call was to confirm that the business would do custom alignments at all. I called because it's a service that is not offered at all alignment shops. An accurate price should have been disclosed properly at this point. - This is a poor excuse for long wait times given a factory alignment would also have specifications on toe, camber, and caster unless a customer coming for a standard alignment is expected to be happy with rushed, subpar results. "When the technician went underneath the car it was to fix the steering wheel which is underneath the front of the vehicle, which is on the toe adjustment." - There is no independent adjustment for the steering wheel under the car. In fact, I asked the technician in the car if he was adjusting toe to compensate for the crooked wheel to which he replied "yes". This is what was done "on the fly". A total of 3 adjustments were made. The car was out of the spec that I asked and paid the extra fee for. "Lastly, 2 technicians and a manager, confirmed that the steering wheel was straight and we had a technician also go on a test drive with you to make adjustments to the steering wheel on the fly to make sure we satisfied your needs." But also "We would never adjust toe on any car without it being on an alignment rack" - Part of my frustration is this. The wheel was not straight and yet they tried convincing me it was. A representation of the poor standard this shop holds itself to. The technician said to me in the car he was adjusting toe, and if I were to have it adjusted any further it would need to go back on the alignment rack. At this point, on hour 4 I was not willing to spend any more of my time being provided with poor, lack-luster service, and decided to leave. Unsatisfied. read more

My van got overheating due to coolant leak, I brought it in to the shop, they offered to drop me off home without even asking, Shane said they will take a look and give me a call. Good news that there in nothing serious just need a new seal for one of the cap. They stand behind their intergrity, quality of work, guest services and honesty. Who know other shop may say something wrong and charge you for servicing, Shane called me to let me know the car is ready and when I picked up the car, they did not charge for it. I bought a used car and went to have the oil change and tires rotated to find out the tires had locks...Barney's was recommended by my normal shop. Several weeks later I called in explained and was given a few options. I showed up before they opened because they're on a first come first serve basis. I was first in at 7:30 and out by 8:10, they removed the locks. Only thing I don't understand and honestly didn't notice until days later is the lock bolt is gold vs silver like the rest and sticks out...kinda strange but what do I know? Update: Matt called me I swear within an hour or less of me posting my review and said no the bolts should match and come in anytime not wait no charge and he'll get it taken care of!! Since Barney's was closed Monday for the 4th of July, I went to another tire\wheel store and was told the tire was not repairable and I would need a new tire. Today I went to Barney's and "Wade" made the assessment and said the tire was repairable. The tire was repaired quickly and I was on my way, free of charge. Went to Barney's Tire and Wheel for a nail in my tire after the dealership said it couldn't be patched and needed replacement. I just walked in, and was greeted by Wade, who promptly took my information and took my car into the shop. About 20 minutes later I was on my way, patch installed, and to my surprise for no charge. While I was waiting I noticed the very impressive wheel selection they had on display. If I was in the market for new wheels and tires I would definitely consider them. I had this slow leak in one of my tires - the "low tire pressure" indicator would go on every couple months, I'd add air to my right front tire, the message would go away, and I'd forget about it. Started happening more frequently (now weekly) and Agape Auto Repair recommended them, so I just took it in today since I happened to be in the area. No appointment, but JD looked at it right away. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get new tires, etc., but I waited only about 10-15 minutes while 2 of my tires were repaired free of charge! I was obviously impressed with their customer service, but also that they recognized my F150 was the Harley edition. They said when the time comes (apparently my tires still have some life left in them), they will be able to get the same special tires or something better if I want. Clearly they understand quality. I just returned from my first visit to Barney's Tire and Wheel. I was referred by my regular garage as they don't currently work on Tesla, TPMS issues. I was immediately greeted and given insights into potential contributing factors. In less than an hour I was handed my key and charged what I can only say was far lower than the original quote. The young man who helped me said "welcome to the family" as he handed me the key. I won't state the amount here because costs are relative. Did I already say it was lower than my jaw which had dropped to the floor when I was "billed". They even checked my brakes because I had detected a squeak earlier in the day. No charge. Heard some strange sounds originating from the tires of my Mercedes Benz. Took it to the dealership for regular maintenance and had them check the tires too. The dealer said l needed new tires. I had been a customer of Barney's since 2007, and found them to be honest and professional - so I took my vehicle to them to purchase a whole new set tires. The personnel there explained that the sound I heard was normal for that type of tire (as it begins to wear down) - however, there was still at least another 10,000 miles remaining. They then checked my air pressure and sent me on my way - with no charge. Proof again they are the best tire establishment in the entire Temecula Valley! read more
