What a really amazing place! I wanted to explore the Uprooted Kitchen and never realized that this place is much more than this it's full of beautiful local stores and I would honestly love to come back and visit. I got some small stuff to take back home for Valentines day. Great amount of variety. Definitely worth checking out!

Loved this spot! It's connected to some fun, eclectic shops that were fun to check out. My friend and I had lunch here, enjoying a fresh wedge salad and pizza in the sunshine! It was the perfect spot to spend time with a friend and get a quick bite. The area is really beautiful and we enjoyed a walk through the community garden before heading across the street for food. I'd recommend this spot and would love to come back and try it again.

    Super cute patio!

Such a fun way to start your weekend!! Life band that is fantastic! Small bites and great wine. The patio is nicely shaded as well and the service has always felt welcoming.

Great beer flight options and pizza/food selection. You can always order food from here and have it delivered to the wine bar next door. Great indoor/outdoor seating and ambience.

I have been a fan of uprooted kitchen for the past couple years and had to check out their new location at Barnone this weekend! I think Barnone is a good addition to agritopia farm. I like the feel of it, it does seem like kind of an obscure combination of places (a gun store..a small hair salon..) but I enjoyed my first visit here. There was a little shop with holiday stuff that I liked, and I really want to check out that wine place, I came early and it was still closed. I will definitely be back to Barnone, very cool.

I tried this place out based solely on Yelp reviews! It also may have come up via, "Yelp Elite" notifications in the past. I visited this bar/pub with my father. As it turns out, we just bought a growler of their, "Easy Tiger Mexican Lager" to enjoy across the room at the, "Fire and Brimstone" restaurant. (We wanted some pizza). From what I could see, the sitting area had a few televisions, and everything was clean. The bartender was all-over-it! Very efficient and friendly! The bar/restaurant isn't very big, probably more like a family room size. The photos I took show about 70% of the current sitting area. I would recommend this place to family and friends. It's more like a "bro's pad to watch the game" kinda place.

Exceptional craft beers and a surprisingly amazing pizza kitchen! We had the carnivore pizza that had local sausage, ham, pep and bacon. It was crispy without being too well done and very flavorful. Smallish pizza about $15 which was plenty for my husband and I to share. I ordered the Pale ale brew and my husband had a blood orange, both were delicious with strong flavors.

I went this last weekend for my first time to celebrate a birthday. Staff is super friendly. They will give you samples to find a beer you like. I was beyond impressed with the pizza! Their pizza is so yummy and I recommend going to try them. They have other specialty pizzas that sound amazing to go try! You go up and order and they bring it out to your table. It is getting hot outside, but they do have misters running to help some if you sit outside like we did. Great place!

Fire and brimstone pizza is where it is at!! Amazing taste and quality for a great price. You can tell in every bite the ingredients are fresh and leaving you wanting a whole pizza to yourself! I'm glad we stopped in because we will back we have a craving for pizza. Not to mention super friendly staff!

I really liked everyone I met here running the various shops that are set up within. The Brewery was awesome and had a nice vibe and the pizza place right across from it smelt so good. I wish i would have brought my appetite. All in all, I was impressed with the detail and art of the entire building. It really looked nice and was very well kept, clean and not crowded at all. This place is all about craft and it definitely exemplified that from my first visit. I will be back with friends and hope to spend more time at some of the shops that were closed when I was there. I think anyone who loves beer, pizza and craftsmanship will enjoy Barnone.

The best cheese plate ever! Do it

This wasn't just us, several people in our class had the same issue, and they had to call the owner to sort everything out before we could start. They also mentioned that we could bring our own drinks, which sounded great, but I wouldn't recommend it for the wheel-throwing class. We didn't open our wine as no cups were provided but there was also no time during the class to drink it. That said, our instructor, Callum, was amazing! Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!

We were in town for my brother's ASU graduation, which happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. I was searching for Mother's Day activities that didn't involve food (so much of the graduation festivities were ALL about food), and I came across Light + Bark. I decided to book a candle pouring reservation for our group of seven, and was grateful they still had availability on such a busy weekend. I've done candle pouring before, and it's been more of a private experience, where we had the space to ourselves. Light + Bark has a bit different of a layout ... the candle pouring takes place right in the middle of the shop, and felt a bit crowded at times for a larger group like ours. Even still, the instructors made us feel welcome, and encouraged us as we selected our scents! They even had free mimosas for Mother's Day, which was such a thoughtful touch to make moms feel special. The scent selection is expansive, and we especially loved the desert-themed collection. We felt the pricing was fair for the experience as well ... it's $38 for a small vessel, $48 for a medium vessel, and $58 for a large vessel. We ended up getting really into the scent mixing process, and had a great time smelling everyone's final products! The candles take two hours to set, and then you can pick them up at your convenience during regular shop hours. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a unique way to celebrate, and you could absolutely pair your experience with brunch reservations elsewhere in Old Town.

We signed up for the Blankets & Besties workshop, where you make a chunky blanket. You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.

The leader just said instructions quickly and with everyone doing so many different projects at same time, she couldn't go step by step to show anything or show different techniques. I was told that the resin would fall off the sides of the wood but I could put resin if I wanted. Well, it didn't fall off the side and looks bad. We luckily had a nice couple across from us with experience using resin and helped us along the way. I also googled things along the way (like how much resin is too thick cause that was never mentioned). For the price I paid I should not be googling information or asking other customers.
