    Picadillo plate
    Brandon G.

Anyone giving this place a high rating is friends with someone who works here or just a blatant liar. We are a Tex mex city, there's no way you've had food anywhere else in this town and thought this was worth the price (slightly high for the amount of food you get and the quality of said food) My dad had the cheese enchiladas, I wasn't able to get a pic of his plate but he did not finish it and that man loves a cheese enchilada. I had the picadillo, per the suggestion of the waitress and it was better than the enchiladas but nothing to write home about, they give you about 1/3 cup of rice which is insane tbh. The staff was very nice and welcoming, which is always lovely so will give hiring their kudos. You can go to El Sabrasito, Dos Jaliscos, Salsa's, Leah's, El Patio, or literally any other Mexican restaurant in a 1 mile vicinity and it be better. They either need to seriously revamp their kitchen program or close, full stop.

I already ate some but still showing plenty in plate I only wanted potatoes n chicken although it comes with other stuff!

Don't eat here if you have tastebuds. Food is horrible. Service is slow and the place is way overpriced.

We ordered a chorizo and egg burrito, an asada taco with egg, a chorizo taco with egg, and a chorizo plate. The main reason for the lower rating was the chorizo. It had a very unusual texture and flavor--almost more like ground chicken. It wasn't bad, just very different from any chorizo I've had before, so it wasn't quite what I expected. My husband said the burrito tasted good but had a bit too many beans. My son's chorizo plate was plentiful and he said it was good. The salsas were also really good with no complaints there, and the customer service at the drive-thru was friendly. Overall, it was a decent experience. When I rate places, I usually compare them to the best and worst I've had in that type of food. This spot definitely isn't the worst, but it didn't quite beat my favorites either. I went back and forth between giving it a 3 or a 4, but it's still worth trying, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if I needed a quick bite.

I've seen people mention the service being slow, but that hasn't been my experience at all. The servers are fast, friendly, and actually know the menu, which makes a big difference. The food is consistently amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you're getting. Plus, they gave the inside a little facelift recently with beautifully lacquered tables and seating, and it looks great. Easily one of my go-to spots for seafood. If you're into real Sinaloense mariscos, this place is it.

When we arrived we were seated quickly and the staff was very nice. It wasn't very crowded and therefore it was a bit quiet. The chips and salsa were amazing! The salsa had the perfect amount of spice. The fajitas came out and I was like "now these are fajitas". It was super excited and couldn't wait to dig in. They tasted really good and the corn tortillas were so much better than that other location. I have to admit that I am still on the hunt for amazing fajitas, however these are definitely better than my last ones and I look forward to returning and trying out other menu items. The only downfall was the blinds. Yeah, I get it and they are just blinds, however they were just so dirty and it distracted from the whole experience. Cleanliness is important.

Friendly, attentive, and very fast from start to finish. The food was okay. Nothing I'd object to, but also not at the top of my list. It satisfied the hunger without standing out. That's what keeps it at four stars for me: great service and a smooth experience, very affordable, with food that's solid but not memorable.

The service is top-tier as well, and the staff and owner are so kind, friendly, and generous. They make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. It's rare to find a place with such genuine hospitality these days, and it honestly makes all the difference. The ambiance is also next-level. It's got this perfect Mexican good vibe going on, super warm and inviting, with great music playing that just makes you want to move! I loved the songs they played and honestly found myself dancing a little just because the music was that good and the vibe was so contagious. It's a place where the energy lifts you up--you can feel how much thought and heart went into creating the space. The food is out of this world--truly something very special. Every dish is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can taste how fresh everything is, and it's clear the kitchen puts real care into what they serve. This isn't just food, it's an experience. Whether you're into bold, spicy flavors or rich, comforting dishes, they've got something for you, and everything I've tried so far has been beyond delicious. The drinks? Amazing. The appetizers? On point. The entrees? Perfect. And don't even get me started on the desserts--they're the kind of sweet treat that stays in your memory and makes you want to come back the next day just for that. I've been to a lot of restaurants, but this one stands out big time. It's not just the food or the service or the vibe--it's everything together. It all blends into this unforgettable experience. You know how some spots are hyped up but don't deliver? This place goes above and beyond all expectations. It's one of those hidden gems that deserve to be on every foodie's radar. This restaurant is 100% lit. It's the kind of place you tell your friends and family about, and they thank you later for the recommendation. It's also one of the few places I've been to where I felt like a guest rather than a customer. That personal touch, the good vibes, and the amazing flavors make it truly special. So yes, this is hands-down one of the best restaurants out here in San Antonio. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. You should absolutely try it, and I'm confident you'll feel the same way I do. From the second you walk in to the last bite of your meal, you'll be glad you came. Seriously, don't sleep on this spot--it's just that good.
