They told me that the wireless set up works a lot better with magnets to go on the side of the trailer. I asked him if it doesn't work for the trip if they would refund my money. The guy said yes. Along the trip on Highway 40 the lights fell off one wire got wrapped around the trailer so that kept that light. The other one is sitting somewhere on Highway 40. I had to drive all the way to Bakersfield at night with no trailer lights to have a trailer company replace the lights I was gonna replace before I left. I came back and they said they would not refund my money for this piece of crap system that they sold me when I was going buy the right one in the first place.

A few months ago our propane was running low and we were looking into some other options for propane. Without our consent or even calling us they took it upon themselves and filled the tank and billed us. My fiancé called, thought we had it resolved and got set up for payments on the propane that was filled and billed to us without our consent. But now they came onto the property without a call beforehand, no consent and no permission and just took the tank! And while taking this tank they rolled over our septic tank with their extremely heavy piece of equipment! Now I have to have a inspection done on the septic tank because of their heavy equipment being parked on it! Also by taking the propane tank with out us knowing has left the home vulnerable to a pipe freeze which could lead to a pipe break and my whole home to be flooded! They have taken no action and have pretty much told us to puns sand and pay the bill! I will never use this company again!

Suburban Propane bought out the company I was using and their service went well for a while. Last…read morefall I ordered a tank of propane and a month later I was hit with a tank rental bill at double what I had been paying. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and have to budget my moneys. They did not notify of the increase and it hit me hard! I wrote this company a letter explaining that I wanted to discontinue service with them and to be reimbursed for the gas that I paid for that is still in the tank. They ignored it and keep sending me bills with more interest added on. They are more interested in $$$$$$$$$$$ than in customers needs or concerns. With the number of One Star rating that I see on the site, I think it would be in their best interest to look into new leadership and policies that are going to be more customer friendly.

Problem with Roberts…read moreis on weekends they allow motor cycle gangs to hang out, stand around, smoke, cuss, gun their motor and being it is not just bikes, but truck/cars with loud exhausts and it appears no one inside cares. I watched the place a few night from across the road in the gravel lot and seen a half dozen vehicles pull in go to the pumps, get out, look around; not at the price, but at the number of people hanging around, and the got in their vehicles and left. I cannot understand why Roberts allows this....do cycles purchase that much fuel, I would imagine a lot of candy bars, cigarettes, etc, but fuel? I doubt it. And I wonder, are those cigarettes they are smoking? Yes, I could call the PV police; however, we all know who live in PV, the PV police are not, shall I say, the greatest PD. Sad part is if they did come out and hang around outside or Roberts, they could write a dozen or so ticket for excessive noise and speeding. Roberts is NOT a great neighbor for those living in Viewpoint, Point of View or even Pronghorn. Sad but true.

Dwayne, in the Home Depot (on Hwy 69, Prescott, AZ) plumbing department, saved the day! I had a…read moredrippy shower spout and let Dwayne know what I needed. He said "that's a Delta product and Home Depot doesn't carry Delta, but..." Dwayne reached down and grabbed an item from the bottom shelf and announced that Home Depot had received this (Delta) product in error, and it wasn't worth returning to the supplier. It was exactly what I needed! He also told me the drip was due to a faulty cartridge. Who knew that showers even had cartridges? He pulled the exact cartridge that I needed, amongst a variety and showed me the difference between them. He then opened another box. He showed the complete cartridge assembly, and what I would need to do to swap it out. What started out being an intimidating repair, following Dwayne's show-and-tell, was completed correctly and quickly. I was SO grateful I dropped off a thank you card, which I hope was shared with HD management, along with a gift card for coffee. Dwayne is my "go to" guy and he really knows his stuff.

Most of the employees at this location are very rude and grumpy or grouchy. They also sound like they have no clue how to help when you're confused or can't find what you're looking for. I thought I was still on top off. I was wrong. On Saturday I had a very strong odor of propane at my back door, a good way from the tank. I called thinking I had a leak. The emergency guy told me he was very busy and it would be 3 hours, I was to close the valve and if I felt unsafe I should leave. When my neighbor went to close the valve she said that it appeared the needle was pointing straight down so I was probably out of propane. I called the emergency guy back and he said he was legally required to respond because I said I might have a leak. Then a couple hours later he called me and rudely said he "looked me up" and it was my fault I ran out so he would be charging me 199 dollars. I told him I didn't have 199 dollars and he suddenly was no longer legally required to come out. I called Monday and talked to Therese who said with a $100 payment I could make payments on the balance and they would give me just 60 gals in the delivery which she said would be on Monday. Then Lisa the manager called, said she refused to send out a delivery Monday, they would be out Tuesday. I told her I would need to be called before they came because I had a doctor's appt and a neighbor would have to be there. She said he would. Today no call, 92 not 60 gals so bigger bill, and no hot water heater lit. Lisa..the mgr..informed me he "didn't get the message" about calling, she never agreed to 60 gals, refused to ask Theresa if she had made that agreement. When she confirmed driver did NOT light the water she informed me I still had plenty of pressure so I should still have hot water. I explained to her emergency guy told me to turn the valve off so the pilot was out. The delivery guy, if he turned the valve on he should have known it needed to be lit. Customer service used to be excellent. Not any more if Lisa is involved. This is likely the last tank I buy from Barrett.
