Ordered online and was advised of a 90 minute delivery window. Only ordered from them as our regular pizza (chain) not offering delivery today. Must be struck with COVID outages. Ordering was easy, and they asked for my phone# when ordering. ordered around 6:15. At 8 pm I called them. Associate was pleasant and helpful. Called driver. Food had been left on porch. Nobody rang doorbell. Needless to say, my order was not what I expected. Mozzarella sticks cold, cheese solid, not warm. Pizza wasn't warm at all. Daughter's hot Italian sandwich was cold. Cinnamon sticks hard crunchy (and cold) one pizza was as expected as we added items. The meat one was lacking from the expectations in their web picture. This place is absolutely horrible. We tried it about a year ago and gave it another try last night. There are flies everywhere in the dining room. We brought it to the managers attention and he said well this is Buckeye, Arizona. I am sorry but I have eaten at many places in Arizona including in Buckeye and this isn't a problem. The food is not as good as the Goodyear location. We had the bacon, sausage, pepperoni pizza and 1 slice had 3 tiny little pieces of meat on it. Their staff is just incompetent. We ordered our food to go but decided to eat there. The lady brings it out and says I told them it was for here but they boxed it anyways. It ended up working out though because we were able to close the boxes while we ate to keep the flies out. We got delivery and waited almost 2 hours for our food. When we called and asked where our food was they stated that our food had been delivered. We told them that we never received the food. They told us that they delivered to the house that is up for rent...which is across the street...empty. We don't know how long it had been sitting there for, and we left it as proof they delivered to the wrong house. Delivery driver stated they rang the doorbell over and over, nobody answered. I've gone into this location twice now for carry out. The girls on the phone were very nice and the estimated time my pizza would be ready was dead on. The people working there were very friendly. The place was clean and opened. I didn't try but they had a daily lunch special and prices seemed very reasonable- I will definitely try it with my family. Pizza was delicious, and salad was good. I ordered a GF pizza and a regular pizza for pickup. We notified the front desk that we were there but they never called our name when our pizza came out. My husband goes back up there after waiting to be told yeah it's right here. I didn't look at the pizza since he picked it up but then we get home and I see our pizza is over cooked and the old GF style crust was used. If I had known you had switched back to old GF crust which is totally disgusting I wouldn't have ordered at all from you. 3 stars because the pizza in general is pretty good. Employees are nice enough but seem disorganized. Ordered a pizza online, said it would be ready for pickup at 5:23. Arrived by 5:30. Said it would be a couple more minutes, no big deal. 5:50 came around and no pizza. The very nice but seemingly overwhelmed employee went to check in the back. Returned with no pizza in hand. Then went to the heating box behind the cashier counter and found our pizza. It was in the heating box the entire time. So total time was an hour with 30 minutes to cook the pizza and 20 minutes to realize our pizza was ready. Don't order online. Call in or go in person. read more

I get there right after 35mins for pickup and they tell me pizza is still in the back and it's going to be another 15-20mins before its ready. Just moved to the area and wanted to try Barro's. I was wary given some of the Yelp reviews. I ordered 3 pizzas tonight, 2 XL and 1 gluten free. They were all excellent! Considering I placed my order online at 5:20pm and it said 25 minutes I was not surprised that when I arrived the pizzas weren't ready. After a short wait they were ready, fresh out of the oven! The pizza was delicious. It was way better than I expected! I ordered at the height of the dinner rush and my order was great! Give them a shot! I used to be a pizza restaurant owner and sometimes things go sideways but the pizza at Barro's was spot on! read more

I'm giving them a rating based on my overall experience rather than my latest one which was pretty crummy. Overall, Barros is our number one go to for pizza. We absolutely love it, five stars for sure. We always enjoy with our out-of-town guests and they always remark how delicious this pizza is. We mostly dine in or pick up, and we do so regularly. My crummy recent experience just has to do with the fact that the only delivery option is through DoorDash. I have subscriptions to other food delivery services that I wish they would utilize as that would save me a lot in fees. I should have just gone up and picked it up myself this time because on the DoorDash app when you order a salad there is no option to customize and when you try to add special notes there is a prompt telling you to call the restaurant with special requests and gives you their phone number. We did so and were told by a manager that they absolutely cannot make any changes to the order once it's placed through DoorDash. Yet DoorDash will not let you make any notes. For instance in this case I wanted the salad but without olives. Very simple request. Cannot put that anywhere on DoorDash, and when prompted to call the store for this kind of change, the store will not do it. It is a no-win situation. Can't put the request through DoorDash and they will not accept it at the store. Just to simply not have olives. That was a frustration so whenever we aren't able to pick up or dine-in we'll have to choose another pizza option. I cannot pay all these extra fees and then also have this run-around. Sure, I can take the time to pick through the salad and get rid of all of the olives, or I can order from somewhere that will be much simpler and less of a hassle, and get my food how I want. Barros please consider contracting outside of DoorDash or working with them to allow to pick your own salad toppings. Like the build your own pizza option that you have. read more

I was a bit confused about where to go for pick up but a young man offered to check on the status of my order and assured me it was in the hot box holder thing. We are staying in the area for a month for work and were craving pizza. We decided to give Barro's a try since it's super close. Placed my order at 5:29pm of large cheese pizza, 12 piece mild wings, mozzy sticks, and garlic cheese bread. Pickup was for 35 mins. We got there at about 40 minutes and everything was ready. Front end staff was very friendly, checked our ticket to make sure our whole order was there, bagged our condiments, and thanked us. Food was good. I felt the sticks and pizza were a little salty, but no one else did. Wings were thoroughly coated in sauce and crispy. Overall a good experience and we'll likely eat here again in the next month. read more

The only good mark for this Barro's is the food, which has been GREAT every visit. Every pick up order has been great, missing drinks once. But, 3 separate dine-in occasions, we've arrived with barely anyone in the restaurant and still waited nearly an hour for simple orders of pizza and wings to come out. Pizza arrived cold, soggy and in a wet box. Our salad was warm from sitting on top of the pizza box. First delivery took over 90 mins. Second time, (today Monday, Dec. 27) pizza arrived almost warm and soggy. But the box was dry! Took over an hour and a half to get to us. We live 3.4 miles away from this location. I CAN NOT recommend delivery from this location. Both times I tipped the driver 20%. Definitely recommend pick up / dine in or Pizza Factory on Yuma in Buckeye. I don't normally post reviews, but when something is so awful and I was so dissatisfied I must post this. I ordered a pizza from Barro's pizza in Verrado. Let me first say I am from Brooklyn NY. I know what good pizza is. My wife asked me to order a thin crust, large pepperoni pie. I ALWAYS like leftovers. So I ordered an extra large pie and planned on freezing what the two of us could not finish. The pizza was HORRIBLE. It was so soaked in oil that you could not taste anything past the oil When I tried to take a piece out of the box it just broke apart into pieces. This without a doubt is the worst pizza I ever had in my life. Had we eaten at the restaurant I would have sent it back. After eating one slice each, I threw the rest in the garbage. What a disgrace, needless to say I will never go back to that place. read more

Gosh, we were hoping for a nice sit down pizza place. It isn't here. The staff were nice and very efficient. The food was adequate. The salad was underwhelming and the pizza was disappointing. Tons of cheese, but very light on the sauce and a negligible number of pepperonis (1 or two per slice?) for the price. Also, the crust was oddly stale and overly tough tasting. Some other reviewers mentioned that the crust was not fresh made (frozen dough?), and I would agree. We won't be coming back. Very disappointed in gluten free pizza. My daughter in law has celiac disease i called before I ordered spoke to them was guaranteed they follow protocol for no cross contamination. Unfortunately she got sick with minutes after eating and has been sick all night. I called store spoke with manager who assured me they follow protocol. Sorry to say she lied to me because that was the only thing she had eaten. If they are going to advertise Gluten free they need to follow protocol before they kill someone. I have ordered there on more than one occasion and both times i had to wait longer than what was listed for completion time. if its busy don't say the order will be done at a specific time when it won't be because I waste my time being there when I was told to only waste my time more with waiting.
