I have to admit on a cold rainy afternoon I was not planning on cooking at all. It was game night and all I wanted was to chill. But hubby has a craving for the pepperoni sausage pizza from This place. Full disclosure, IVE NEVER HAD PAPA MURPHYS!! For no reason other than why cook it myself. I have pizza delivered fresh exactly how I want it all the time without having to touch the oven. Or leave my comfy couch or my pjs. But he always spoils me so I agreed to try it. I had to go in person to see what this was about. Walked in and I read through the menu. Sadly, the menu we read online was NOT available at that location, so I was instantly disappointed. I had a vision for what I wanted and was already starting out wrong. I let go of that idea and jusT customized a medium pizza with extra cheese, sun dried tomato, green onions and mushrooms. I have to say it was better than I expected. We stopped at the wing store next door just in case I didn't like my pizza creation. Overall, great flavor, it did get burn at the bottom because oven variations are so crazy I couldn't eat every slice. And I will not give it a full five stars due to that. I followed the instructions and my husbands large pizza was under cook in some areas and mine was way burnt on the bottom crust. If he wants to buy it again and make it, I'll join him. I LOVE that they have a keto option. That made dinner a good experience for me. The place wreaked of Fabuloso cleaning products and caused me to have an asthma attack and I had to wait outside for my pizza to be created. My husband hated their crust. No one else complained but he wasnt happy. I will say that they paper on the pizza starting on fire in our oven was a bit scary. I even had the oven a bit lower then recommended. Keep an eye on that my friends. Again, I was so happy about the keto option but the pizza starting on fire and burning one of the pizzas to the point of having to be tossed was bad and the cleaning products overwhelming me was the reason for the low rating read more

This location has gotten so bad over the last year or so. We recently had a family gathering and ordered 4 pizzas the lack of toppings on all pizzas is just pathetic for the price. The family pepperoni we even ordered and paid for extra pepperoni, we ended up with only about 50 pieces of pepperoni total on that pizza. The prices for a take and bake pizza have gotten out of control expensive, the quality is garbage these days and customer service absolutely unacceptable at an establishment like this. This is a great spot for quality pizza at an affordable price. You will need the time to make it at home of course. The staff is always friendly and informative and willing to make exactly what you ask for. I've tried almost all of the offerings here. The meatballs were tender and delicious. Now could you get better elsewhere? Sure but not at the value offered here. I always look forward to the taco pizza that comes around Cinco De Mayo. The stuffed pizza is my go to. It was a good job until everything fell apart. You can't have a serious conversation with a manager and when you try to they shut you down or just don't respond. Very poor management considering all I'm doing is trying to help myself and the company grow to be better. They won't fire you either, they'll just reduce your hours significantly (1 day a week) all I've done is called them out on their poor managerial skills and on the poor team we have here but apparently no one wants to talk and we can't come to an agreement on how to better the workplace so. Very very poor management all the way up the chain, the owner ought to be ashamed for hiring such bad managers. It's no wonder everyone quits! I ordered the new keto pizza with the toppings I like and it was $15.99 which I thought was a bit excessive since there was no crust involved, but thought I will wait to see the finished product. Well I can't believe this place is charging that kind of money for a crustless pizza! It was no bigger than the size of their salads...really? Come on Papa Murphy's talk about price gouging! I had the cowboy but asked to add onions, which they forgot to put onions on it so I had to add them before I baked it. We called and got a lecture on how to use their app in that YOU MUST CLICK ON CHEESE to order NO CHEESE!! WHY would I click on cheese if I'm allergic to cheese? They refuse to replace it unless we buy a new one. Why? Because it's expensive!!! SO IS ORDERING A $15 PIZZA I CANT EAT!!!! We already bought 4 pizzas. SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I'm one of those annoying people you've met, who form a firm opinion about something without trying it and then, after being convinced to finally make a go of it after God-knows-how-long, not only changes their mind, but becomes a fan. Papa Murphy's is no exception. When they first came into existence, my attitude was that I wasn't going to pay them almost as much for an already cooked pizza, then take it home and do all the hard work heating it up. Their propaganda that cooking it yourself makes it fresher and tastier was as convincing as FOX News claiming to present fair and balanced reporting. How very wrong I was. It's worth to pay what you pay to take the pizza home and heat it up and exactly for the reasons they claim. In addition, I have found that the veggie pizza is absolutely loaded with fresh veggies and enough cheese to give a mouse a heart attack from excitement. The staff at this location is always friendly, gives helpful advice and is efficient and fast. And not once, and I do mean, "not once", has any of the pizzas been a disappointment in any way (except, maybe, to my waistline). Hands down the best pizza in Goodyear. read more

Very disappointed! I used to get whatever pizza was on special with a gluten free crust and they would simply upcharge for the crust. Today the girl working the register tells me she would have to charge me for a create your own pizza and add each topping individually with a gluten free crust. I explained I've bought the special before and only paid difference for crust but she insisted I had to do create your own. I won't be going back. I'm not going to pay $20 for a gluten free pizza I have to bake myself. Had my first pizza from PM today. It was thin crust and very good. I was pleasantly surprised. I will see if they have these in Missouri. Definitely will buy again. Lots of quality ingredients, though the cheese was a bit sparse for my liking. Just a note, my parents don't get out much due to age. But when they do, they order a pie from PM and enjoy it. We picked up for them earlier tonight and the food and experience was great. The pizza cooked exactly as instructed and it wasn't greasy or oversauced. Was also very happy with the sanitary conditions of the store and all the staff was appropriately masked and gloved. When I was in there, every other customer was masked and I felt safe being there.
