I recently started to visit Barro's for their lunch menu for the first time. On each visit, except one, I have been met by the smiling face and happy /positive attitude of Isaiah who regardless of my mood walking in makes me feel welcomed, relaxed and in a good mood for some good food. He makes me want to eat-in rather than take-out. Management should formally recognize the quality of his performance. As far as food quality and pricing, I love their Lunch Menu. The pricing is reasonable and both the pizza (I always get the Hawaiian) and salad are excellent and is far better than going to someplace like Costco. I dont know if all the Barro's Pizza locations are the same, but this location is now my new go to lunch stop. read more

The pizza did not taste like it normally does. The dough was initially not cooked at all. The first pizza was pretty raw. Then they brought another one that was like over cooked. I have both been at this location, and have had delivery for their pizza. They have one of the best pizza's that I've had in Arizona. This is my must go spot for pizza. They have many styles of pizza from traditional,thin crust, gluten free, and many combinations. I always get the Barro's special and get sausage instead of ham. They have great lunch specials, and cold drinks including beer at the location. The people that work there are extremely friendly and there is plenty of sitting. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Came for a quick lunch and was so rudely treated by the employee working. She was extremely ignorant and should NOT be in a customer serving role. Asked for the manager and a young man who was no better and showed zero care to the situation. He seemed to not know how to handle the problem with his employee and basically told me he needed to get back to the kitchen. He was not a manager, rather than just another young employee who finds humor in watching the employees be rude to the customer.It's apparent an adult needs to be on duty and train the employees about customer service. I stopped in for lunch ordered a slice and salad. Received my slice and he said he would bring my salad out. I'm trying to eat this slice that had probably sat too long. It was dry and barely above room temperature. Ate maybe half the slice before putting aside hoping the salad would make up for this. While still waiting for my salad I over hear the guy behind the counter telling the next group of people that the slices are really old and he would have new ones in 5-10 minutes. So you can serve me a really old slice and 10 minutes later it's too old to serve. Then The guy brought salads to people who ordered 5 minutes after me then he must have realized he forgot mine. At this point I told him I was done and wanted a refund. I waited for him to finish up with other people he was helping. Our order was supposed to be a 40 min wait. It was about an hour and 45. I called at an hour mark to try and track it. A young girl picked up and repairers so fast I couldn't understand her. She put me on hold and I sat there for over 5 min. She said my pizza was next to be delivered. It did show, but 45 min after the time quote. I have been going to Barro's Pizza on Riggs & McQueen since 2019 and I have noticed a decline in the consistancy of the way they make their pizza. It has been different each time I order. My fiancée and I usually enjoy Barro's, but we will never go to this location again. My fiancée asked for extra ranch and extra vegetables with her wings. I double checked right before I left, and there was nothing extra. Luckily, I went back in and spoke to someone at the counter. It was a little awkward because she had to open the box herself (I couldn't) to ensure we didn't get anything extra. She confirmed we did not and was pleasant to get us what we ordered. Additionally, when I called in the order for provider, I asked for 2x sauce on the pizza. Whoever took my order confirmed with me over the phone 2x the amount of sauce on the pizza, and it was on the receipt. When I got home and started eating, the pizza could not be any drier and there was barely any sauce. My daughter and I came in late and we were starving. We were greeted by a nice young man Ben. He was very friendly and knowledgeable asking if we would like to try different items. We sat down after ordering and he brought us 2 plates, Parmesan peppers, and a stack of napkins. After we got our pizza he came over to ensure everything tasted ok and to make sure we didn't need anything else. I went there 30+ minutes later and waited 35 minutes. They told me it would be 7 minutes when I arrived and then employees kept asking me what my order was. If I could give negative stars I would. The manager, Jace, is horrible and does not know customer service. I ordered white sauce and they made it with regular sauce which I am allergic to. Jace would not replace my pizza. Even though he had a delivery driver he would not send a new one because I ordered through DoorDash even though his employee made my pizza wrong. Always running late with food orders, quality consistency is not there when I order. Food pick up time is never accurate. There are definitely better options to spend your hard earned money at. By far the most incompetent staff at any Barros that I have visited. Corporate needs to take a deep look at the customer service model and retrain their staff. Pizza was good. The pizza is usually pretty solid and no complaints. The wings on the other hand are a completely different story. Ordered Honey Hot wings and there's was about 4 drops of sauce total on them all. So we basically received plain wings that were also very dried out. I am leaving a second 5 star review to hopefully balance out my 1 star I left last night. I had a delivery problem and was supposed to have a credit for a future order. When I called a week later the could not find the credit which was disappointing and I was annoyed and left A 1 star review. I got a call from a manager later that night to apologize for the confusion and he politely asked for my business back. Absolutely. Their pizza is great. Delivers pizza over an hour late, when called says "You don't have to order from Barros" We had a really disappointing experience with Barro's Pizza last night. We've got pizzas from them for years, and they are good! But on weekends, they would show up later and later with cold pizza, so we stopped getting them on weekends. Last night, ordered, they said 60 minutes, and in our experience it's always been more like 30. So close to an hour in, call them, and our address completely puzzles them. They say the driver is in the completely wrong part of town but they'll send him. "So, isn't the pizza going to be cold now?" No, "Brandon" assures us, it'll be fine! Twenty minutes later, call back. Brandon doesn't want to talk to us. Jason says the driver is on his way. So we say forget it, give us a refund, we aren't interested in ice cold pizza. Forty minutes after that, knock on the door (after we said NO KNOCKING!). Dogs go nuts. Driver looks drunk or high, and like he just got out of prison. Told him to take it away. Called Jason back, and his response is, "Well, you don't have to order from Barro's." So I doubt we will, but I'll sure let as many people know as I can! read more

Barro's has good food overall, however the service can be hit or miss. We have had a few situations that have had to be addressed, however the value is very good and it's great to have a local option that isn't a chain. The pizza is a good size and they have some creative specialty options that are recommended. The staff is very nice, however I would avoid peak times as it can become really busy and quality suffers. When possible, dine-in is a good option and there is an outdoor patio. read more

I've always enjoyed the pizza. It is very good. The problem is they have too many kids and not an older manager on staff. This is why they're always running late. Ordered for pick up. They told me 30 minutes it was just under an hour. Actually unacceptable. To be quite honest with you, No sorry no let me give you some breadsticks Because we screwed up nothing. Instead the kids just like joke around in the back hanging out with their friends that's the biggest problem I have.
