We ordered a GF pizza and regular 14" both with sausage. Both had plenty of cheese and sausage. Not to much oil and very tasty. Came out hot and server was very pleasant. The ambiance is not high end, but it is a pizza place ! I'm a New Yorker and have had pie from many Mom & Pop places. This is very good from a large local chain. I recommend you try it. Stopped in for lunch with my team from work. This is the first time I have gone on a weekday so I was happy to see they had lunch specials. The specials range from single slices of pizza to 2 slices and salad. I opted for a number 3, which was a single slice of pizza, side salad and drink. I opted for pepperoni pizza and loved that I could pick what I wanted on my salad. The salad bar looked nice and clean and was covered from patrons to help keep germs away. Very very bad! I haven't even gotten my food yet. Food was supposed to be ready at 5:50 PM here it is 6:15 PM. Still no food I ordered they said 15 to 20 minutes. Tasty, cheesy, oh so perfect dough and plain old deliciousness on a platter! That cheese just stretches as I bite into a slice...yummmm. My perfect pie is All olive, half sausage (for him) and half mushrooms ( for me). Now our go to when we are in the area. Tonight it was a medium black olive, mushroom and onion pizza thin crust for the hubby and a gluten free black olive for the girls to share. I think they are getting old enough for their own pizzas now! We had just eaten dinner not to long ago so they shared. I didn't want them getting a tummy ache. One thing I like about this location is the gluten free pizzas are always cooked perfectly. Our City of Surprise location the edges are always over done. Their oven must be hotter. The pizza looked so good I went back in with it in just to make sure it was actually gluten free. This location is clean and looks great. This used to be my Go-To spot for any delivery or dine-in pizza experience. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and give good customer service. The atmosphere is that of a nice family owned small pizzeria and the smells are great inside. The place is usually clean and there is always plenty of seating if you want to dine in. OK, lets talk about the pizza. My wife and I have ordered many different kinds of pizza here and until lately it has been very good. I do like the sauce and they aren't skimpy on the toppings. I usually get a large with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives. There are times when I just want a pepperoni pizza or just a cheese pizza. and until recently I had no complaints. However, recently, these last 2-3 orders something has changed. The pizzas now have more salt. Which, isn't fun. I have to add more sauce (from my pantry) to make it palatable. I don't know if they've switched ingredients or food vendors, but something is off. I used to say they were the best in the West valley, but I have to knock them down to 2 stars. Nothing wrong with this pizza, but it is certainly not what I was used to eating when I lived in Chicago (NW side born and raised ). Crust is too thick and sauce is too sweet. A plus is that the price is cheaper than Rosatis (which is actually authentic tasting Chicago thin crust pizza). For your lunch special needs, Barros is a pretty good option. Coming in at $2 a slice between a few different pizza slice options, and very decent pizza. I've tried their cheese, pepperoni, and bbq chicken, and all were good. A 25 cent drink is a great additional deal as well. I feel much better dropping $4.25 here for a quick lunch as opposed to any fast food (for the same amount or more) that comes to mind.
