More boneless wings. These are medium buffalo.

Easy ordering online. One may create an account or proceed as a guest. Orders may be scheduled for a later time. If an account is created, there is an option to reorder the previous order. Check their website for special. Deals are easily added to online orders Food is always ready for when we set it for. There is a separate spot/line for pickup orders. Barro's also has full seating for those who would rather dine in. Pizzas are hot and fresh. Most of the time, toppings are plentiful. We get the boneless wings. Wings are well sauced. Dry rub flavors are also available. We have yet to try those. Even after the drive home, there is still a bit of a crunch to the breading. Sauce flavors include spicy, savory and sweet.

My go to lunch/dinner spot ! I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with the salad bar! It has allll the toppings you could want and a small salad just is under $6! Today I was a little hungry and got the salad, slice of pizza and a drink only $8! The staff here is always kind and friendly even when it is busy. I greatly appreciate that! Their food is consistently good, and not just the pizza ! The sandwiches and wings as well! You can't go wrong.

    Sorry pieces of celery.

The pizza was good as usual but we ordered wings this time and we didn't care for the buffalo sauce that they were in. The biggest complaint is the "celery" they included in the order. They were these small shriveled up little things. We would have rather not have even had them in our bag.

Stopped in for lunch with my team from work. This is the first time I have gone on a weekday so I was happy to see they had lunch specials. The specials range from single slices of pizza to 2 slices and salad. I opted for a number 3, which was a single slice of pizza, side salad and drink. I opted for pepperoni pizza and loved that I could pick what I wanted on my salad. The salad bar looked nice and clean and was covered from patrons to help keep germs away. The inside seating area was plentiful. The table we sat at was a little on the sticky side, but other than that the food was good. I will probably be back a

Barro's is my other half and I favorite pizza place, ever. Years ago, when we moved to the Phoenix area we found Barro's. Oh.Em. Gee! Tasty, cheesy, oh so perfect dough and plain old deliciousness on a platter! That cheese just stretches as I bite into a slice...yummmm. My perfect pie is All olive, half sausage (for him) and half mushrooms ( for me). It's usually a bit juicy from the mingling of cheese/veggie and cheese/sausage with the smell that drives my belly crazy. Maybe there's a better pie somewhere, but I haven't found it.

I had several of their sandwiches for the first time. A club and Italian. Really, not bad. A nice alternative to Pizza. And I love the little lunch box with chips! Very nice!

Great pizza and wings are great! Service is good. Though we come for lunch and it's busy, it's sometimes hard to find a clean table.

Both pizzas were interesting. The Lichfield Park pizza has pesto sauce and corn on it, as well as cheese, so you might get a slice of that after your "guests" scarf their first helping. You better grab a slice of the Brooklyn pizza right away, though, because it's a traditional-looking pizza with pepperoni and sausage. You won't get a second shot at a slice. You'll get to finish the rest of the "adult" strawberry & bacon salad, though, with spinach instead of lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, and bacon bits. It doesn't come with ranch or even ranch-colored dressing, so they might not risk trying a pinkish salad dressing as a dip for their pizza crust. It's a very good salad and helped my vacation digestion, since I'm not used to the 110° August heat. Papa Paul's Pizza is less than a mile away from my room at the Wigwam. Going there would even be walkable in the summer heat if the fences around the Wigwam had pedestrian gates. As it is, both driveway gates on that corner of the Wigwam are slotted through the perimeter fence far from the place where Papa Pauls and the resort are just across the street from each other. I'm too delicate for a 0.9-mile walk in that much sun. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to rehydrate, though, while I waited for the pizzas to come out of the oven.

Limited wine list for an Italian restaurant. We started with a caesar salad to split - SO much cheese, it was too much. I understand some people like that, but I wish they would have lightened up the amount and just have people ask for more if they want that. I ordered the chicken & broccoli alfredo. Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.

The dim lighting works perfectly with the décor, and the metal entrance door gives the place a cool, slightly old-school vibe. There's plenty of parking, plus street parking, so no need to circle the block 15 times questioning your life choices. Now, the important part: the food. They have a really good variety of lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The food overall is tasty, but the pizza is definitely the star of the show. Artisan-style, full of flavor, and with a great balance between portion size and quality. The drinks are good too, with plenty of options. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms--which, yes, absolutely matters! And whatever you do, save room for dessert. Seriously. It's a great way to finish the meal... even if five minutes earlier you swore you were completely full. Definitely a nice find, and a place I'd visit again.

The Bruschetta is really light with amazing flavor, small tomatoes drizzled with balsamic, the bread is soft but sturdy enough to hold the tomato. Wings! We opted for the lemon pepper wings; perfectly crispy delicious flavor. The main course we shared the Margherita pizza! OMG, the crust is so light & buttery with fresh mozzarella, not too much sauce. Andrea's service is great, the decor & restaurant is cozy with a warm feeling. If it wasn't for the 13 school staff wanting to split each check & arguing who got what, we could've paid. My husband and I had been once before for our anniversary and the food was incredible. Tonight really showed how much heart and love goes into this restaurant when a little boy peaked out from behind the wall & asked if my kids wanted to play with him as we waited to be seated. After making sure it was okay with who I'm assuming is the owner & family of the little boy, my kids went to the table he was at to color and play with him. Everyone was so kind and gracious with my kids, and the little boy Sebastian was the highlight of our night. He was such a sweet kid & the best little host. My kids had a great time with him as we waited for our food. I got the carbonara, my dad got the chicken pesto & my husband got a 3 meat penne. The kids got chicken tender and fries. Each dish was delicious and tasted authentic. The bruschetta dip was amazing. My husband doesn't normally like bruschetta, but how the flavors were balanced had him eating most of it. The bread was perfect, crisp outside with a softer inside. My carbonara was creamy and flavorful. Most carbonara upsets my stomach because of dairy (but I still order it anyway because it's my favorite), but how they made it here left me feeling satisfied without an upset stomach which is a huge win in my book! It warmed my heart to feel like my kids were welcomed in a restaurant with open arms when many restaurants view kids in general as a burden. We will definitely be back! Personally, we've never been to a restaurant that provided this quality of service and hospitality in addition to the best Italian food we've had at a more than reasonable cost! 10/10 recommend this to anyone!

They compliment the culture extremely well, and help set the atmosphere. When we went for lunch on a Sunday, it was pretty empty (only 1 other table). I would recommend not worrying about the low attendance. I think this has to do more with the fact that Downtown Avondale tends to be pretty empty. I think that they would do really well and be a lot busier if they were in a different location. The service was amazing, our server was attentive and gave out really good recommendations. While all the food was delicious...the free bread was my favorite. It was perfectly toasted and seasoned and included a brushetta topping on the side. I could have just ate that and would have been extremely happy. We ordered an appetizer of Calamari, it was a good portion size for the cost. The Calamari was well seasoned and crispy. I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Ravioli. It was flavorful with large pieces of mushroom mixed with the sauce. Even though it was a white cream sauce, the dish was suprisingly light, I would recommend trying it. The other two people I was with both ordered the Frutti de Mare. There was a good mixe and amount of seafood in the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. While the marinara sauce was good, I don't think it was something that was out of this world. I just think it needed a little more seasoning or some kind of kick to round it out. Overall, great restaurant and would recommend.
