So I went to Barro's in PHX a while back and I have been going back ever since. When I heard that one was opening in town I could not wait!!! Came here with a few friends and as usual the food was amazing. We got the mega meat pizza and if you like a meaty pizza this is your jam!! The atmosphere is very chill and laid back. You walk up and order and then you seat yourself. My one complaint was that it did take a rather long time to get our two pizzas when the place was pretty slow. It was by no means a deal breaker, so dont let it scare you away. If you want some amazing pizza, make sure to add Barro's to your list!!! read more

This deserves zero stars. Why does everyone hate working here? All the workers treat the customers so poorly and unprofessionally. I've come in on two different nights an hour and thirty minutes before closing time, and two different girls have had terrible attitudes. "Can you make sure you leave quickly? I'm trying to go home." "Can you please sit on this side of the building? I want to go home at a reasonable time tonight." Does management find this acceptable? Are employees just allowed to treat customers like they are a burden? Do your servers realize that without customers, they would not have a job or an income? I won't be coming back and I will make sure to discourage others from doing so. Don't worry girls, it's one less customer for you waste you time on. read more

We ordered mango habanero boneless wings with celery and had it delivered. The wings arrived cold, which can happen with delivery and I can tolerate. What was very disappointing is the wings were drizzled with sauce and we were looking for the mango habanero. They were very dry and I was given 1 celery stick. read more

Being born and raised in NY, I consider myself a pizza elitist/snob. I've gone to Barros three times and the pizza is good, but what brings me back are the wings (big and full of meat) Two dozen for little over 20 bucks. The mango habanero wings are fantastic! Ordered 2 take out pizzas, food was ready at the stated time. When we got it home everything was just as we ordered. We tried the Luau which sounded like a strange combination but was really quite good! The red sauce on our other pizza was also good. Horrible service. I went in today for a XL hot wing pizza and it was absolutely awful. Imagine a cheese pizza with extra extra cheese and a bunch of chicken, soaking in grease. I have eaten this specific pizza a couple times from this location, as I specifically come in for it. Never in all my times coming here, has it been so bad. It was inedible personally. There was so much cheese it was like eating a cheese stick from little Caesar's with way more grease. I called them after taking two or three bites of my pizza just after getting home, directly from their restaurant- to request a new one and to pick it up later tonight. They put me on the phone with the GM (general manager), who said that HE made it and put the regular amount of wing sauce on the pizza. They didn't give me a refund, and refused to make me a new one. I will never come here again and hope to speak to the owner. If you do come here, don't get the got wing pizza as it actually will taste like a load of crap- cheese grease and bread. Way too much cheese and pretty much no hot wing sauce. You can see some on the pizza but it can not be tasted. Don't go here. Mamas pizza is way better and better service as well. read more

I've never written a review on Yelp before but feel the need to record our recent experience here. I want to preface by saying we've never had any issues previously and love bringing my daughter here for play time while we enjoy our dinner. They have claw machines and kids' tables, with a play kitchen that gives them entertainment without the typical tablet on the restaurant table. This past visit, however, we were disappointed. Not only has the claw machine been out of order for several months, but the play food for the kitchen is still put up for "covid precautions," yet masks are not enforced and the candy machines are full and ready for use. Aside from the typical features of the restaurant that we enjoy, we went up to order a SECOND beer and THIRD glass of wine and were told we were cut off. It was 8:05 pm, they were not close to closing, and our table had been behaving appropriately the entire time. I've never been cut off at any bar or restaurant, so to be enjoying a group dinner with family and friends and be treated as a nuisance was nothing less than insulting. Will reconsider spending money here in the future, which is truly a shame as we have enjoyed our experiences here for years. read more

Service when ordering was good. It's our first time and she was helpful. Almost all of the tables and seats were dirty so it made it a little difficult to find a place to sit. I ordered a gluten free crust with pineapple and ham, my husband ordered a half Mega Meat and half Barros Special on original crust. I loved my pizza! The crust was a little too thin but tasty. My husband's pizza came packed with goodies. The only issue he had was that the toppings were not spread around but groups together, ie. all the onions on one piece, the green peppers on another etc.he too like the crust and thought the original was perfect for thickness. My wife found this place as a quick place to meet for lunch one day just recently and we've been back about 3 more times since then! Might sound weird stating that EVERYTHING here is great...but EVERYTHING here is great. The lunch specials are unbelievable...two of us can get a big slice of pizza, a pretty large salad, and a drink for under 10 bucks! The pizza is always fresh at lunch and the salads are typically more than you'd expect from a lunch salad with all the fixings included. We've also ordered pizza for dinner and had the wings and it's all been exceptional. The feel inside is perfect for a pizza & beer/sports bar kind of place. WHAT A LET DOWN! My family and I decided to try a new pizza joint. We have never eaten at a Barrios Pizza before so we thought we would just go for it. The crust was very dense; my best way of describing it would be a spongy brick. The pie was overly bland and quite greasy. It must be the cheese they use, as that much grease can only be related to lack of quality. It's the only logical explanation because we only ordered cheese. The sauce tasted like a cheap spaghetti sauce you could find in a can from a dollar general. Over all, just save your money. I was excited to go after seeing some take out pizza at the office. Sadly when we walked in the restaurant was dirty, maybe 10 at most were occupied however the rest were empty and dirty. The drink station was disgusting a mount of ice and a pool of pop on the floor. After trying to find a clean table our wings came out. The plate were greasy and gross. Our family loves Barro's Pizza. Sometimes we order for carry out but our kids also really like eating there. They have a kids corner set up with small tables, a play kitchen, and tv going with cartoons. The boneless wings are always nice and crispy and you can specify if you want extra sauce etc. The pizza is really good! The only thing bad about this place is that you can't see it from the street it's hidden. The good things are is that it has low lighting meaning the lights aren't bright on the eyes. Pizza is very good. The wings are very good. The mozzarella sticks are as good as you can ask for. The fountain drink options are nice and they have tasy beer too. My only cause for complaint is having to pay up front in advance, which is annoying for anyone unsure about whether they'd want a second adult beverage or not...but that's not reason to dock them here. This is the second time I've gotten Food From Here and being honest not worth the money or time I older the same thing to see if it was gonna be different but it wasn't I Order spaghetti and side of wings I requested the wings to only be flats which then did the opposite and just gave me legs so the first isn't listening the second is my spaghetti was the worst I've had Ever really running like basically a third full of water and barley any meat/sauce so I basically paid 3x for cooked noodles "outrages" the last issue I had was my food was giving to me like it was throw together the lids to the bowls aren't even on fully or compressed to tight. -waste of money and time- teach your team to double check before sending out!!!!!!! read more

Great pizza and wings. We have went to the Casa Grande location before and was excited to hear they were opening one in Tucson. We ordered pizza and wings. The pizza was delicious! We got the regular crust and I'm excited to try the thin crust next time we go. We ordered the wings extra crispy and they were by far the best wings we've had in a long time! The restaurant is huge and very comfortable. Plenty of room for good size party or just a night out with the family! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn't like it! After I saw good reviews I was exited to try this place and we decide to order a pizza online n pick it up cuz my husband likes to watch football at home! When I got the food I felt the box was kind of cold but didn't pay attention till we opened the box and of course pizza was cold like they put the frozen food in microwave n tossed it in the box !!! Very low quality food and service! I didn't mention all the servers are bunch of teenagers they don't even say hi or welcome to you !
